Klei turned to Sweet as he spoke. "That's probably the only thing I couldn't agree with you more on. I wouldn't go out of my way either." Which was pretty honest actually. Even though Klei may be extremely interested in some types of Soquili he'd never actually go out of his way to do anything about it. If they run into him then that's perfect! All is good!
"Wings... freak you out?" he added after he soaked it in, with a 'are you serious?' tone. He wondered what was so freaky about wings that they'd actually make Soquili scared of them.
Everything that came out of Scarlet's tiny mouth sounded perky. How could someone constantly be happy. It's unnatural. His thoughts were interrupted as she cheered about about the butterfly. Klei watched to see what Sweet would do about the sudden event. "I don't see what's so lucky about it." Klei said eventually.

Sweetpea welcomes the opportunity to ignore the other stlalions comment about winged Soquili with his mothers outburst. But he raised his eye brow at the question. "What, you mom never told you the stories? Butterflyies are really fairies in disguise. they go around when they are bored looking for wishes to grant. When one lands on you it wants to grant a wish for you. You've got until it flies away to make the wish, or else it forgets about you and flies away. But if you make it soon enough the butterfly will hear it and it will come true."
Scarlet nodded, welling with pride for her son. "Yeah! But you can't tell anyone your wish or else it won't come true. It's the only rule to wish making. Never tell! Even if they tortue you, never tell them what you wished for!" Scarlet beamed and giggled. "Do you like Flutters are like that? I should ask one! I have so many questions!" She giggled.

Klei continued to stare at the butterfly before responding to first part of what Sweet said before the bit of information he told. "I never really liked my mom." Klei snorted and turned his head away from the two. It's not that he never liked her it's mainly that he never really got along with his mom, never knowing the reason as of why. It's not like Klei caused her any greif so it was more of her disliking him out of the blue and him being overall confused on the matter and becoming uncomfortable around her. There was never a valid reason found of why they didn't get along. They just never really connected with one another as well as other mothers did with their children so she ended up rarely talking to him.
Klei's eyes shifted back towards Sweet again. "Really? You wouldn't think it's just because the butterfly was tired and you were the closest thing near?" Turning completely back towards Sweet Klei added, "Have you ever had a butterfly wish come true?" Now Klei wasn't doubting that wishes come true just that wishing on a butterfly is a bit odd. He probably only thought that way because he never witnessed it or heard about it before.
Ears perking at Scarlets voice Klei turned towards her. "Don't know. I never met a Flutter before. You seem to have a pretty long list of questions to ask in the making. How are you going to remember them all?" Klei was never one to give himself a long list of things to do. He'd have a hard time remembering them all. If Scarlet was able to remember and actually do all she said then that's something she has that's better then him and he'd be envious of.

"Tch, way to kill the magic, dude," Sweet grumbled, checking on his mom for signs of distress. She fully believed the stories to be true, and any doubt sent her over the edge of self doubt. Luckily she hadn't heard. "They're stories, just let the kids believe," he growled in her defence.
"Fairies don't get tired, silly," was her only defence, since she didn't really understand the questions to begin with. "They're immortal, like the moon and sun!" Scarlet thought for a little about the second question. She finaly answered. "Of course I have! Ever since I was... well, ever since I began my life alone I wished for a wonderful mate and a lovely family with lots of good friends. And I have it! I couldn't wish for more!" Scarlet positivly bubbles with glee at the thought.

Klei simply ignored Sweet as he spoke. If there were children who knew of the stories present Klei wouldn't have said anything about doubting it but around adults he'd speak his mind about it. It's only his opinion after all, be it fantasy killing or not.
"Faires are like the moon and the sun..." Klei repeated as he looked up, only to be blinded by the sun. With his eyes forced closed he felt stupid. Only because he looked directly into the sun when everyone knows that's a stupid thing to do and to avoid doing it. He could let out a sign in annoyance at his own stupid actions.
"I'm glad that you had your wishes granted then." He nodded after he saw her glow with delight. He was glad her wishes came true. She's to sweet to have them not. "I'm sure many more wishes will come true in the future for you."

Scarlet looked flabberghasted. She pranced and giggled. "What more could I ask for," she gasped as she gazed around. "It's a lovley day, flowers are everywhere, the sun is shining, I have two beautiful sons, a basket bak at home being watched over by three wonderful two leggers, and mate whom I adore, a big brother who watches out for me, five odd adopted children whom I love as dearly as my own blood, another umpteen best friends who I would die for... I think I have everything in the world I could want!"
She was a bit taking aback as she counted her blessings. She always was. That tiny mare had more then the very princess herself could ever want in her entire life! "Oh, and wish the same for you, Klei! I stallion and kind as you deserves to have his every wish granted!" She flipped her shortish mane out of her sparkeling eyes.
Sweet smiled as his mother ranted for a little. He himself felt lucky just to be so close to a mare so kind, even if she was a bit naive at times. He muzzled his mother a little as she stopped, recieving a nudge in return. "As you can see, my mother is a very excitable mare, rather like a foal, actually," Sweet mumbled to Klei, hinting that she still believed in such magic as fairies and whishes.

Klei grew wide eyed at the large number of family members she had, be the blood related or not. "You.. have a large family.." he said with a normal tone. "I wouldn't have taken you as someone with such a large and variety of family members. I guess it's nice to have many to go home to." he got out before Scarlet continued.
"Don't worry about me and my wishes. I was never one to go around wishing for things so I expect nothing in return." It was true. In the past Klei made plenty of wishes, simply wishes really, but none of them came true. Things only got worse for him so he quickly realized that it was a waste of time. "I wouldn't say I 'deserve' to have my wishes granted, because I don't, but thank you for thinking that."
Turning to Sweet as he spoke Klei replied, "Nothing's wrong with being excitable. Mothers, I guess, can be like that.... no... mothers are supposed to be like that." Klei did find it funny how Sweet even referred to him mom acting like a foal, which made him lightly chuckle to himself. "You both are foals and you both know it."

What? After all that he still thought they were foals?! Sweet shot to his legs and shouted, "listen up and listen good, becasue I'm only going to say this one more time before I cause you lots of pain! We are not foals! We are fully grown Usdia, a miniature kind fo Soquili. It's not that hard of a concept to grasp! Would any other foal have a child? See the resemblance? I'm her son! My father is an Usdia as well, a leopard Aplloosa."
"A very kind and attractive Usdia stallion, if I do say so. Oh, I hope you find a mate like your father, someone so kind and honest and... Oh Sweet, you're filthy again!" BEfore her son could protest again she pounced him and set to cleaning his face.

The second Sweet stopped talking Klei had to respond, but with a chuckle this time. "You still act like foals. Whether you are full grown adults or not." He tilted his head and continued, "You're going to cause me a lot of pain? I don't see why; or how for what it's worth. Just because I said that you guys act like foals?" Even though Klei now bluntly calls them foals, knowing they are anything but, he will always act like they are foals.
As the young male continued to fill Klei's head with all these technical terms he simply looked on. Was any of what Sweet was saying sunk in? That is unknown for the time being. "Nothing would surprise me now a days. I didn't even know you guys had a special breed name before our 'little gathering'"
Simply watching the mother 'attack' her son for a cleaning Klei couldn't help but chuckle before looking up at the sky again. "You should probably listen to your mom. She's a smart lady." He paused, flicked his tail from one side to the other, then continued, "Also a kind and honest lady could do you some good."

Sweet slipped from his mothers grasp as she smoothes down his mane. He grumbled a little and shook it out. "I'm not eactly searching for a mate right now. I'm fine as a single stallion."
"But it breaks my heart to see you so lonley," Scarlet murmured, tilting her head sadly at her son.
"I'm not lonley, mom! That's the thing. I like being single. Commitment is not something I want right now." He smiled and nudged his mother softly. "But as soon as I find a girl you'll be first to know. That seemed to cheer her up quite a bit.
"Oh, dear, look at the sun!" Her ears fell sadly and she huffed. "Well, we much be getting back to the tee pee now, my son." He nudged Sweet to his feet and turned to Klei. "I'll be sure to ask the next wigned Soquili I find if the wings a heavy for you, then! Pleasure meeting you." She bowed her head and turned to leave with her son.

Klei waited until the tiny Usdia's stood before standing himself. Making one last comment before he left as well. "Only if you remember that is. It was an interesting experience meeting you two."
He watched as the mother and son walked off, the sun turning the sky a bright yet deep reddish orange as it started to set. As they got a good distance away Klei turned himself around and walked in the opposite direction, the sun setting behind him.
Never meeting those of the Usdia breed before this running into was interesting. Different, but still interesting.
