Whew! What a question... I was born and baptized Catholic, raised Methodist, Baptist, Lutheran, and eventually non-denominational Evangelical. Now I attend a Presbyterian college. eek So many...
I agree with what many of you have been saying-- there's only one way to heaven, and that is by following Christ as Lord and Savior. As far as differences between denominations, a lot of it has to do with liturgy (style of worship). However, some denominations will believe differently on moral issues, so it is very important to find out what your church believes and see if your study of the Bible leads you to agree.

I'm a Catholic--came back to the Church last year. it's quite a challenge. my boyfriend is CME Methodist.

djgresh im an Evangelical Charasmatic YAY!!, I'm "non-demoninational" or however you spell it...but if you want to categorize me then I'm the same as the DJ. "Christian" was never what Jesus called believers, he called them Disciples, so I'm a Disciple of Christ! biggrin heart

I practice Christianity but I don't go to church that often. It seems to be more about rules than a personal relationship with God.
I mix a lot of different practices too. On Sundays I bike through the woods to remind myself of God's creation, to thank him for it all. I also believe that our relationship with God should be a personal thing, and that being a Christian is not about how well you follow the rules. David sinned as well, and we see him as a Godly man. He had a deep relationship with God.
I was brought up as a kid believing that if you ever sinned you were going to go to hell, also that because I wasn't baptised I wasn't welcome in Heaven. I'm glad I understand fully now.

The unity of chistian people, that you can feel when group of believers has come together to praise and pray is very important. Thats why I like to attend sermons. Also the teachings there are important. Sometimes God can give the priest words just for you. And sometimes the words can just be otherwise important. Of course, reading bible does teach you as well. But some people understand better when hearing, or other person can say something in a way that finally makes you understand what in fact is in the words. I hope you get what I try to say...
I was both Lutherian, but I now belong to Pentecostal Church.

Yes the asking Jesus into your heart is what Baptist believe.. Hehe guess you can tell what I am by my name.. But I recently moved and now go to my fiances church which is Non-demoninational. But dont matter the demonination, that dont get you into Heaven. Only Jesus Christ is the Way to Heaven..

I have never heard of your type of Christian before but the way of thinking you uphold is a nice way to think. I would like to learn more. I will check here again but if ya pm me that is okay too.

ScarredImage I'm practicing Christianity (meaning I don't believe I'm a full Christian until I die and go to Heaven) but I like looking into other religions and putting some of their practices and ways into mine. I don't think God would have an issue with that as long as it doesn't go against his Word. But now you got me curious, what all is in being Inclusionist? I've never heard of that either. Hold on, so you dont believe your a full Christian untill you go to heaven??? It dosnt work that way. To go to heaven you have to believe in Jesus as your saviour and be baptized. You have to live your whole life for Him. All this BEFORE you die. In his eyes your all the way Christian or your not at all a Christian. And when you die, you will be judged by what you did here. The First commandment is that you should have no other God but me. Be careful, He is a jealous God.

I go to a penecostal church, We will accept any denomination, and any type of person. So most call us Non-denominational.
