Lyssa wasn't sure how she even came to be on the Island the only thing she knew was she was here and she had a companion with her when she was born. A spectral Spider named Zhi a familiar of sorts. Zhi became her guide from the moment she was born. Lyssa also found she had a strange stick beside her and when she picked it up it glowed, though she didn't know how to use it or what it meant.
Lyssa was found wandering around at night by a strange hunting lioness who was dragging her prey by webs from her mouth. The lioness was named Prolinphiya and invited Lyssa to live with her and another Lioness named Arei who were raising 3 other cubs Aranei, Hel and Corinnidae. Longing for a family Lyssa accepted and has been with them since.
