Shes got style, but its all a bit over-elegant. I like some meat on my stories and art. All her characters seem to be alike, too. The ditzy, yet optimistic heroine, the shady cold guy with a hidden nice side, the fake polite guy that feudes with the cold guy, the hot tempered girl, and the narcisist.
Keep trying on that one.

Ah, I like Tanemura's work. Even if all her stories are extremely similar and the characters look basically the same. I prefer Full Moon wo Sagashite and Shinshi Doumei Cross/The Gentlemen's Alliance Cross. But so far she's got: Full Moon wo Sagashite, I.O.N., Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne, Kanshakudama no Yuutsu, Kusame and Komaki and the Key of Love, Shinshi Doumei Cros, Shoujou Eve Ringo Jikake no 24 Ji, Time Stranger Kyoko, Umi no Chikyuugi Nocturne, and Zettai Kakusei Tenshi Mistress Fortune. ^_^ If you pay attention though most Shoujo Manga-ka draw the same characters over and over again, with some slight changes, and the types of characters usually stay the same as well. Which I've learned to not mind so much while I've been reading all the manga I've read lately. It doesn't help that other people may use similar designs and personalities to their characters though.

Yeah, Tanemura Arina has really wonderfull art. But I don't like shoujo, so I still don't read nothing from her works. sweatdrop Although I have Full Moon wo Sagashite in comp. Sad, sad

Well, I L-O-V-E Oguie-san from Genshiken! Shes cute and fragile and I just wana pamper her, despite her twisted past and emotional rampages~
I also love Tenma-chan and her merry friends from School Rumble! I'd kill to be in their class! and I'm WILD and HEAD OVER HEELS for Degiko-chan of DiGi Charat! Whenever I see Dejiko on a book or poster, I just gush~!
I love Sgt Keroro, too! He can come live in my house any day! And Natsumi-dono, too! I wana be an alien so that I can stay with her fine self ~<3

If you could have an anime character as your best friend, which one would you get along best with and have the most fun with?
Me? I think Shuichi from Gavitation and I would get along great! Hes the kind of guy that I could Go crazy on and have any of my bizzar mental outbursts and he'd just edge me on and yell right along side me! I really wana have a freak out session with him! We'd get along great!
I'd also wana have Miss Yukari as my mom's cool drunk friend. I'd go shopping with them and I could make her laugh with my talk about gays. Like I do with my mom's friends in real life. We could go crazy together, too. Friends that're psyco together are forever!

Oh God, Suichi will be really good pal! But I think, I'll prefer someone like Xellos from Slayers or Fai from TRC. Or Ichimaru Gin from Bleach! They're really that type with whom you'll get a lot fun although they're, in reality, great ... hmm ... how to call it ... "bastards".
I have really lot of fav characters. To most of them I'll be able to forgive/allow everything. Mainly 'cause I like those who don't have the best personality. But my most lovely is Roy Mustang from Fullmetal Alchemist. He's sooooo ... ... .... uh, I like him. lol

Thtas funny because if you had asked me that question three years ago, I would've answered "Edward Elric WITH ALL OF MY HEART!!!" I used to be wild about Ed! But now I just kinda find FMA a little overrated. The characters are all wonderful, the best even, but the storyline further into the series is a bit pretencious. But I'm an Al fan now! I think that kid has got alot of spunk!

If you like FMA and yaoi, then you'll probably love Fujoshi Rumi. Her favorite series is called FMP which is Full Metal Prince. A combination of Full Metal Alchemist and Prince of Tennis! She loves the General, which in your language would be Mustang. Just a little tidbit for you there.

I've been hooked on Godchild since the first time I read it in Shojo Beat. Not sure why it's shojo, though. Most of the girls die horrible deaths in that manga. XD
If I could have a friend from an anime/manga, it would probably Lavi from D. Gray-Man. He just seems like a fun guy to hang out with and he likes to read, which is a plus.
