Axel stared at them. " hello Im Axel Ike and 8th Squad of 7th seats." Axel just do keep his hands in his pockets. "wat a drag" Axel sighed at them. "i hope this is fun for fight. hehe im gonna watch tagg's move and her powerful.." Axel chuckles at Tagg's powerful. "hehe i will learn her powerful, when it time to start against me" Axel stared.

:Suri decided to seat herself by Michiko. It was something that she did unconciously, but after she had settled down, she realized it was something done out of a second nature instinct now. Her past still affected more than she thought it would.
"Yes," Suri nodded in response to Michiko's inquiries. "He is fairly new. I just finished training him to obtain his own specialized zanpaku~to so he would not have to fight with the clumsy Academy issued ones. He is new, but I believe that he will be fairly strong for his rank."
She leaned forward slightly so that she would not have to yell impolitely over Michiko, "Yamoto, we are unfortunately in the same position. By the time Tagg reaches Fefnir or Iu though, they will be the few lucky gladiators who beat the lion."
She then turned to acknowledge Axel. Though she knew Tagg's Endurance Crusade would be popular, Suri had not expected to meet so many people at the first match. She had thought most people would bypass the first few matches. She knew she would have if it had not been her student fighting first.
"Hi Axel, I'm Suri, Vice-Captain of fifth squad," Suri greeted him. "I do not think this will be too boring since it is the first fight. It is also the first time her contestant gets to demonstrate his skills, so it might be refreshing from the fights we will expect later on.":

Yamoto smiles at the mentioning of Iu. "Suri I tell you a secret that only a few know." Yamoto leans a little, but he didn't really care if anybody else heard. "I was the one who orginally trained Iu."

Razgriaz was just fresh out of the academy and now facing one of the Captains. He sighed as he looked around, he didnt know anyone there but he had time after he got his butt whooped to find out who they were. he looked at Captain Tagg, her leg was raised and the swirling dark mass near her. "Wow....i feel like i'm going to get my butt kicked....atleast i'm not going down as easy if i didnt have this..." he mumbled to himself as he pulled out the new weapon, it felt light in his hands he held it blade down.

Nodding, Michiko said, "Well if you get the impression of some potential from him I'm sure the first match should be a good start for him. At least he can show that he's not afraid of challenges."
Michiko didn't say anything as she made her comment about Fefnir and Iu, but she couldn't help smile at Yamoto's whisper as she overheard it. He liked his bragging rights there. Michiko couldn't say much though. Yamoto originally trained her when she was a recruit too.

Fefnir quickly entered the area and found a seat a little ways away from everyone else. He wanted to be completely focused on the fights if Tagg should get to his match. Fefnir would be prepared for all of her techniques. He sat down and watched, wondering what the fights would have in store.

:Suri allowed Yamoto his boastful comment. Where the present and fights were concerned, Suri did not think much of the past. What mattered was how strong each individual was at the present moment, and what kind of reputation each individual had managed to build for himself or herself. However, she knew where Yamoto was coming from. She too would have been proud if she had managed to train a shinigami of superior skills. And a part of her would have held on to the thought that that made her slightly better too.
However, she decided to raise that comment to a joking challenge, "Well then Yamoto, if I am not stuck in squad 4's healing room then, I expect to see the same kind of fight between you and Tagg as between Iu and Tagg.":

"Very well then." Yamoto knew he was being to boastful, so he decides to be quiet unless someone adresses him directly. The one thing he wanted to do was fight so he concentrates on Tagg.

Tagg brings her leg down to the floor slowly. Her eyes more serious then anyone has seen them. Her mouth opened underneath her mask.
"start!"
Tagg took her foot onto the floor and kicked hard, she began to spin then a appendage of Arcane mass shot from the earth at a diagonal pose to her foot sending her firing towards Chronos, the power and velocity of the speed was fierce. Whilst her attack was heading towards him, Chronos heard a thud behind him. Arcane mass shot up into a three wall "cove" to trap him. This all happening in a mere amount of seconds.

He barely had time to react to the word issuing from her mouth he watched as heard the mass appear behind him he lowered his center of gravity he didnt have time to get out of the way, he held up the jitte in front of him to receipt any attacks coming his way. He planted himself glancing for only a moment at the cove around him it looked "solid". Better not touch it
(my comp is getting really laggy its going to take me a bit to post sorry tagg >_<.

Razil came running in, late as he had been training. He noticed it had already started "Oh damn." He muttered, when seeing how high up the bleachers were. So he drew his Zanpakuto and threw it at a wall away from the battle, he then leapt up onto the extended blade, and vaulted off of it as he pulled it out of the wall simultaneously. He landed gracefully behind Suri and Yamoto, and sat down. "What did I miss?" He murmured, not wanting to miss anything as he was next in line to face Tagg. He knew there was almost no chance of him winning, but he would sure as hell give her all the fight he had, and so he wanted to analyze her techniques and prepare himself mentally. Noticing Yamoto, he realized he had been rude. "My apologies sir, I was lost in thought. Razil Masamune, 1st Division." He extended a hand in friendship, hoping to receive the same.

Arcane behind him oozed to his feet, grabbed his ankles and attempted to trip him, bringing his guard down. As Tagg was right infront of his face milliseconds from hitting him.

(yes but his stance is putting him one leg towards you one leg back towards the ooze)
He saw the ooze reach for him from the wall, he smiled as he leaned foreward he put his hand towards her shoulder he meant to use her incoming speed as a spring board to fling him into the air and towards the direction she was coming from, he had planned on doing this at first anyway to get away from the "cove" of arcane mass she had put around him. He would bring the blade of his jitte across her shoulder as he rebounded into the air.
