((Don't they play badminton in Spain as well?))
The girl looked to the girl who had just entered, and rolled her eyes. How could someone not know what badminton is? Mai took a glance at the match, then huffed and started her training again. It didn't seem that interesting, so she started again. Hitting every chance she could, Mai was completely obsorbed into it.

REICHI VS RANANO!
Reichi served his first game smacking the birdie towards Ranano. Reichi ran close to the net.
"If I get close enough I think i'll win this."
Ranano ran to hit the birdie lobbing it past Reichi. Reichi quickly jolted back as his thoughts raced, "This guy. He knew I was going to go towards the net. I have to get this."
Reichi hit the birdie successfully only to get it smashed back by Ranano. The birdie in the air hurling towards Reichi. Reichi backed up smacking the birdie back. Ranano ran to the left as he hit the birdie. Reichi ran towards the birdie smacking it to the right.
1-0 Reichi!
The birdie lay on the ground as Ranano stuck out his tongue in an unfavorable way.
Reichi serves again but this time Ranano runs quickly to the net. Ranano smirks as he runs, "Boy. I guess this is where you lose and I win. Get ready to become my slave."
Ian moves closer to where Adrian stood. Ian, shocked, back up almost tumbling over Adrian, "Oh oh! He's going to use that already! He must be pretty upset!"

Adrian caught the boy, Ian, by his waist, moving him around so that he would not crash into her. The boy however, did not acknowladge that Adrian was there and kept his eyes on the match between Reichi and Ranano.
"Hm... everyone seems to be into this... game... It looks so simple though..."
She seemed to be talking to herself as her attention went back to the match in front of her, watching as Ranano moved quickly up to the net.

Ian turned around with a frantic look on his face, "Aaah!! I-Wh-Who are you!!? I-I'm sorry."
He began bowing back and forth apologizing, "I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to bump into you. It's just...that kid. He's going to use The Frog Wall."
A smack is heard from Ranano's racket as the birdie quickly shuffled to the right.
1-1 TIE
Reichi stood still holding his racket in one hand and his birdie in another.
"What the hell was that? What's that position he's using? And why is he so close to the net?"
Ranano stuck out his tongue licking his mouth several times. Both his hands were kept to himself at a short distance and both his legs almost in a crouching position.
Reichi served his birdie high, but not high enough for a jump. He ran to the middle of his side of the court waiting for the return shot. Ranano's hand quickly snapped towards the birdie making it go directly down.
1-2 RANANO
Reichi backed up again taking his birdie. Ranano stuck out his tongue once more, "Stupid kid. No birdie will pass by me. Don't you get it."

Adrian waved off the boy's bows, pointed slightly to Ranano.
"You mean... his technique in this game... is to act like a frog?"
Her gaze snapped back to attention as the birdie hit the floor with a loud smack, putting Ranano in the lead and leaving Reichi with a stunned face.

Ian nodded as he quickly responded, "Ah-ah la-lady...yes...you've never heard of The Frog Wall? Only Ranano can pull it off so well. I'm very well informed in Badminton and the students here at Hanari."
Ian turned to look at Ranano, "He's very well known for his frog stance. Look at him now. He's in the front of the net with both his arms like that to protect the sides, left and right. When it comes at him he snaps his arms like a frog's tongue. And when it's a lob he can jump really high and snap too. It's almost the perfect wall. I've never seen someone break it. L-Lady? You've never played Badminton?"
Reichi's game evolved and evolved. He quickly began to lose, but there were games that he did win which made Ranano flustered.
6-10 RANANO
Ranano smiled, "One more point and you'll be my slave. Heehee hoho."
Reichi looked at Ranano's stance and removed the sweat dripping from his forehead, "It's obvious that there is a spot I can target. I knew there'd be a weakness."

Mai split her attention, watching the match and the birdie. The score was 6-10, in favor of Ranano. Mai smirked - she knew the boy couldn't beat The Frog. Although there was still a chance to get it back, and it was only early in the game, it still seemed as thought Reichi would never get a point.
But Mai knew that everyone had a weakness. Heck, even she did.
Her thoughts were distracted by that one older boy, speaking to the girl-who-can't-play-badminton. Mai caught the birdie, and walked over to them.
"She hasn't, obviously," Mai said, sounding cold but with no intention.

Ian fell down, surprised, "Ah-Wh-Who are you!? Your even colder! I mean...I...yeah...don't hurt me! I...was just explaining the rules. It seems that kid Reichi isn't doing too good. Normally in Badminton PRO, score is 21. But normal school rules are 11. One more and--"
Before he could continue his sentence Reichi in mid air smashed the birdie an inch towards Ranano's face. It brushed him quickly. Ranano couldn't move and stood there grinning.
7-10 RANANO
Ranano walked back, "Guess it's my turn to serve right? Hoho you don't think you have a chance eh heh."
Reichi smiled, "I might. I mean, hell I got this far. Might as well try and not just give up."
Reichi continued to smash the birdie. He aimed his shot closer to but away from Ranano's shoulder not giving him the reaction Ranano needed to snap his arms.
10-10 TIE

"Wimp," Mai muttered, then watched as Reichi smashed the birdie multiple times, bringing the score up to 10-10, a tie. Mai smirked. The guy had determination, and now, he had to be broguth down. It was already obvious who had won the match, Reichi, but now Mai looked upon him as an oppenent she had to beat.
"Reichi's found Ranano's weakness. The game's over," Mai declared, walking away from the two, and striking up a game(okay, forcing a game onto), another girl who had also lost interest. Mai let the girl serve first, and returned it with perfect accuracy, and the right amount of power and speed, to earn a point for herself.
It's all in technique. Mai thought solemly, before glancing back over at the fight. Part of her wanted to continue watching, but her better half told her to keep playing. You can't get better if you don't play.

Adrian stayed quiet as a girl, somewhat more confident than the others around her, came to her and Ian, exchanging only a few qords before leaving them. With a tilt of her head, Adrian merely looked after the girl.
"Wierd..."
Turning her attention back to the game, the score was now 10-10. According to Ian, the winner would be decided with the next serve.
"I don't see whats so hard about this game... "

Ian grunted as the girl left. He looked at Adrian and smiled, "No...it's not game point just yet. It's Deuce. I can't believe Ranano hasn't realized that yet. Or maybe he has and he's just pressuring Reichi...anyways. I can't believe that kid broke through The Frog Wall."
As he finished his statement, three kids walked inside the gym. One kid had arm wraps and a blue open-buttoned shirt smiling happily. His hair was very short and spiky. The other kid was shorter than the rest and had a big book bag that was larger than normal. The kid in the middle was a girl. She had beautiful long hair with a silky ribbon tying up her hair into a ponytail. A blue shirt with white lines running across and a racket. The group stopped to watch the match.
Ranano stood closely to the net smiling. The birdie was shot and Ranano smacks it. His arm snapping and then coming back to the same spot. Reichi quickly jolts towards the birdie smacking it again this time lobbing it. Ranano runs back laughing, "Hoho Haha! It's mine! And now you I can get gamepoint!"
He jumps up snapping his arm smacking the birdie downwards. Reichi quickly grabs his racket with both hands, "No! I can't have you bully those kids like that!"
His racket and wrist twist together as the birdie hits his racket. The birdie is sent flying towards Ranano with a swirling gust of wind.
Ian falls down on the ground in amazement, "The-The-whirlwind shot?
I...how could he know that!?"
Ranano tried to stop the whirlwind, but in process twisted his hand as he falls to the ground.

Racket fell the ground, and the birdie was returned to Mai. Of course, in her own shock, it flew by her, as she stared wide eyed at the outcome of the match. Slowly, her smirk turned to smile. So she was right. This kid was interesting.
Very interesting.
Bending down, Mai picked up her racket, but the shock never left her usually blank face. She barely noticed the three who had entered the gym, but at the time wouldn't have cared.
"Nice job, Reichi." Mai muttered.

Adrian took a step back in surprise, the game now over, as she looked to Ian.
"H-how... how'd he do that?"
In the corner of her eye, she saw a group of children walk into the gym, apparently badminton players as well.

"Aaaaaah", Ranano yelled as he ducked and the last final smack of the birdie was heard throughout the gym. The birdie was slow and normal hitting the floor with ease. Ranano, trembling, stood up and stared at Reichi.
12-10 GAME...REICHI!
"Now you can't bully those kids anymore ok! Just be nice...haha", smiled Reichi as he walked towards his bag with the racket on one hand. He placed the racket inside his bag and turned to look at the kids who walked in.
"That's nice. So this newcomer can play. I'm happy. Mai...your here too", the tall girl spoke softly and sweet.
"My name is Fate. I'm the leader of Hanari Squad for badminton. If you want to join meet me tommorrow here. Early in the morning and be on the dot", she quickly stated as she left.
The other small kid with the long bag left with her meanwhile the third kid ran up to Mai. With joy his eyes became a pair of stars, "OOOIEEEE!! MAIIII!! Your as beautiful as ever today cutiepie!! It's TOKO! You didn't forget did you!! OOH will this beautiful graceful lovely Mai be joining Hanari Squad this year or what? We need the players!?"
Ian stumbled trying to get up, "Adrian...are you a badminton player too?"
