Gabriel nodded and checked to make sure he had everything before resting his hands on his lap and bowing his head.

Vladimir nodded with recognition, "Of course! Leo, how could I have forgotten?" he asked rhetorically, "What are you doing here away from everyone else?" he asked, taking another bite, the sandwich was almost gone.

Dimitri turned his head and leaned too the side, too look out the window behind him, he could only see ocean, but if the pilot said ten it was ten.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Gabriel sighed quietly and waited for landing.

The helicopter began to descend. The wheels folded out to the landing position. The helicopter touched down at the Helipad near a large reserch facuility. It was located in a large clearing near the beach, a large gravel road leading too a from the docks to a loading bay area where several large military supply trucks sat along with humvies, ATVs , and Dirtbikes. On the roof of the research facuilty were large solar panels used too provide energy to the various equipment. Working around the veichiles were several men, all wearing the standard dark green muscle shirts and lighter green jogging pants issued by militaries. They walked over too the helicopter and began to lock it into place, securing it to the deck. The large back hatch opened, The germans rose and walked out. Dimitri and the UK team got up and followed, carrying their stuff.

A large army helicopter flew over head and landed on the island. "...so what do you think They've gathered all of us here for?" He asked, not turning too look at Vladimir.

Gabriel stood, a pack on his back. The other Americans did the same, though there weren't many Americans on the helicopter. Gabriel walked off the aircraft and stood, awaiting orders on what to do next.

Vladimir shrugged, "I really don't know, comrade. Maybe it is some sort of giant vacation, but somehow I don't think so. Perhaps it is a secret operation of some sort."

A line of soliders. next to a humvee were too the right of the helicopter, they all held assult rifles, and the humvee had a mounted machine gun. whats with the firepower He thought. A lift leading under ground rose a few feet away, off stepped a large man, he had a large bowie knife at his side, and opposite it a large, .375 caliber six shot revolver, He had short black hair and a small goatee that led into a beard,a large scar ran over his left eye and anothe one on his right cheek .He wore heavy combat armor and slightly baggy black pants, on the armor was a symbol or rather initials DS. "Dure Soldats..." Dimitri smirked, mummbling the words. "Carlos ontevarious...nice too see you again". The large man looked at Dimitri, his eyes narrowed into a glare. He pulled the bowie knife and began advancing on Dimitri. "you..SON OF A" The man was cut off. "Carlos!, stop that this instant, you harm any of them without good enough cause and I will see too you be put away for life!" A old man who stepped off the lift shouted. his hair was white and lead down into a short white beard that looked closer too he hadn't shaved for a monthe rather then a beard. He walked with a limp in his left leg and used a cane for support, leaning on it as he stood, he wore tan colored dress pants and a safari style vest. "Welcome my guests to the Praelium Islands, I am Doctor Joathan Rabidus, Head of the Reseach and deleopment as well as leader of Project Bestia, which you have all been apart of...now follow me, please, and I will explain more" the old man turned around and walked too the lift.

The ship docked, Leo went too his room, grabbed his stuff and departed the ship where they found a large transport truck with two humvees infront and in the back, from what leo could tell each was loaded with troops, one directed them too get into the truck, well their stuff was taken up in the humvees. Leo complied and handed his stuff to a solider and got into the truck and sat right at the front, the other members of his team got in after.

Gabriel watched the scene unfold before his eyes but said nothing, when told to follow he did so without question, So much firepower... he thought.

The boat docked and Vladimir returned to his room to gather his things, he had two large suitcases and what looked like a cool. He had the cooler on his back and he carried the suitcases in each of his arms. When someone tried to take his things, he handed over the two suitcases but hesitated with the cooler.
Vladimir held up a finger to the soldier and took down the cooler and opened it, it was filled with sandwiches. He took several and stuffed them in his small pack on his belt. He took one and began to munch on it before moving on to to the other truck and getting in. It shifted with his weight and each step he took until he sat. It was leaning slightly towards his side now.

The truck started and began moving, the road turned to gravel in a minute. Out the open back they could see, the ocean disappear as they turned a corner into the jungle. The sound of the boat horn sounded signalling it's departure "...the die is cast..." Leo mummbled.

A solider ran up too the Doctor and whispered something, the doctor looked at his watch. "excllent, ahead of scedule, go open the doors for them" The doctor said, the man nodded, then ran over and started up a dirt bike then took off too the other side of the faculity. Once everyone was on the lift, a solider walked over too a control panel and pressed a series of button, the lift lurched then began it's decent down.

Vladimir watched out the back of the truck as it left, admiring the natural beauty of the jungle. He punched Leo in what Vladimir thought was a gentle way, and smiled, "It is beautiful, is it not?"

Gabriel entered the lift and stood patiently with his arms crossed behind his back, he stayed away from the crowd.

Leo rubbed his arm where Vladamir had punched him. "yeah..." He said.

Five minutes...ten minutes...how long does this thing take Dimitri thought, slightly impatient.. The lift stopped at a plateform, everyone was directed off and lead down a series of halls. great...hallways that look the same... he thought.

Vladimir was silent for a while after that, "So, how'd you end up here?" he asked.

Gabriel looked up once the lift stopped, the top could no longer be seen. As they were lead down the halls, Gabriel spotted several imperfections in the halls, chipped paint, dents, whatever would allow him to tell each hall from another.

"They offered me alot of money, when I get back home to kyoto, I plan on openeing my own Dojo to teach students of my own" Leo said, the truck slanted downwards as if heading downwards. "gonna get abit dark in a minute here" The driver called back. then it did, they eneterd a tunnel leading downwards, as they passed it large blast doors began to shut. Leo could see the two humvee's that had acted as escorts near the door. it got darker. leo's eyes adjusted too the dark the moment it did and they seemed too glow slightly in the dark.

They turned and entered a large room, about the size of a tennis court, including the stands. computers and various eletronic equipment lined the walls typical for a reserch building, however all were turned off. The doctor took his place at a large podium up on a small platform. "we'll have too wait a few minutes for the others to arrive before I start" The doctor said over a microphone.

"Sounds like a good plan." Vladimir said. Once the truck entered the tunnel, Vladimir's eyes slowly adjusted, he could see the two humvees near the closing door, "Anyone know where we are going?"

Leo shrugged, then realized vladimir might not be able too see it. "I don't know" it wasn't possable too see infront of them, but Leo could see it getting slightly lighter, not noticable but it was abit lighter now.

Vladimir noticed the light change a couple minutes after Leo had. He went to take a large bite from his sandwich but dropped it when they hit a bump, it fell from the truck and into the darkness. Vladimir said something in Russian, presumable a swear, as he pulled out another sandwich and took a bite out of it.
