Opening another massive box Lizzy heaved a huge sigh. She did love her new house but gosh did she hate unpacking! Groaning she glared over at the lump sinking into her couch. "Are you gonna help me or what?" The black haired chick just grunted as she continued to stuff her face with the bag of chips laying on the side table.

"I don't do work. I just came to see this new house of yours." Yawning and stretching like the cat demon she was Neena scratched the back of her head and laid down, tail twitching as she watched her friend unpack the millionth box that day.

"Gah you're worthless!" Huffing in annoyance she finished the box she was on and moved to the next. This one marked as precious cargo. Grinning happily the tall female moved her hands gently over the contents and pulled them out slowly and carefully. The candles were so wonderful smelling, they filled up the whole room with their fragrance as soon as the box was opened.

Taking a deep breath Lizzy sighed happily, she loved candles and hated to burn them so there were tons of candles she kept lined up along her shelves.

Placing the last candle in it's place she stopped to admire her work. A rainbow of candles greeted her sight as the aroma put her in a kind of trance.

Grunting Neena's ears twitched in annoyance, she had never understood Lizzy's obsession with candles and smelly stuff but at least she was allowed to stay and that was enough for her to be happy."I don't have nearly enough of my stuff unpacked." Glancing at the pyramid of boxes left Lizzy plopped down beside her tailed friend nearly landing on said tail.

"I don't know why you bother doing so much work, it's a pure waste of time." Getting up and going into the kitchen to get more food she glanced over her shoulder at the exhausted friend of hers and snuck a package out from inside the purse Lizzy had insisted on buying her.

Walking back and sitting on the couch the neko placed the package in the redheads lap. "Your house warming gift." Picking her head up from off the couch Lizzy gingerly unwrapped the package gasping in delight. "A scented oil! Wow this will really make the place feel homey! What smell is it?"

"Gingerbread. I found this shop which had all these oil things in them. I asked the shop lady what kind of scent would be good for a scent loving person like you and she gave me this one. Said something about it'd change your life forever. Yeah like a candle could do that." Scoffing at the idea that a candle could do anything more then smell good Neena folded her arms as she fell back into the pillows on the couch.

"You're the greatest friend a girl could hope for!" Placing down the gift she tackled the short neko in a bear hug going back to her earlier unpacking.

Finished! Finally everything was unpacked and in it's place! Grinning from ear to ear Lizzy happily danced around her living room. It felt good to have a place of her own and to have it finally finished. Now it was time to celebrate! Running to the kitchen she pulled out a tub of chocolate ice cream and a spoon. Slamming the freezer door shut Lizzy skipped back into her completed living room.

Blaring the radio she turned it to cd and played her favorite song. "She moves her body like a cyclone and she makes me want to do it all night long..." Singing along she swayed her hips in time to the beat and dipped the spoon into the ice cream, muffling her singing as she stuffed the scope into her mouth.

But something was missing.....and finally it hit her. She still had to light that oil she had gotten! Opening the package Iz took all the items out and made sure all the items she needed were there. Placing the stand on a side-table she placed the glass dish into it and lifted the container of oil to her noise getting a big whiff. "Mmmm gingerbread." It reminded her of Christmas back home and how Neena and she would build haunted gingerbread houses and eat them. How mad her mom got when she came home to find the houses made and eaten. Laughing Lizzy poured the liquid into the crystal clear glass and placed the small candle into the bottom part.

"Matches. Where did I put those matches?" Searching around each room she started making a mess of everything making the perfectly clean house a pigsty in no time flat. "There they are!" Coming from her bedroom she lit a match and watched as the wick burst into flame.

Smiling she walked back to her tub of ice cream and stuffed more into her mouth. Glancing back to the oil she was startled by the strange smoke that rose in a beautiful pattern and filled the room with its scent."Oh well maybe its like a trick candle only it's an oil?" Nodding her head she decided that had to be it and went back to dancing around her living room.

It had been a crisp day out the breeze had picked up and made the November air chilly. Slamming the door shut Lizzy shivered and rubbed her arms trying to warm herself up.

"Brrrrr wow it's surprising how chilly November can get!" Stripping the few layers of clothing she had on she ran to the fireplace and turned it on. Grabbing a couple blankets and a book Lizzy was about to turn off the lights when she knew something was missing......

"Oh! I should use the last of that oil today would be a good time to use it. It'll help me relax and I'll appreciate every drop of it until it's gone." Pouring the rest of it sadly into the burner she grabbed the matches and lit the candle. The strange smoke started coming from it as she started reading her latest book, Pride and Prejudice.

The smell of the oil made her hungry and it wasn't long before the red head couldn't stand it anymore. Going into the kitchen and grabbing a handful of cookies making sure to stuff an extra one into her mouth before she left she returned to the living room only to stand in shock at the event happening before her eyes.

The smoke was coming alive! It normally did weird patterns above the oil but this time was so much different! It was dancing all around the room in intricate patterns. Suddenly the patterns made pictures. It was like a scene from the sugar plum fairy! The smoke made gingerbread cookies and houses alive over the walls and a giant Christmas tree with lights was in the very middle above the oil stand the candle illuminating the inside making it look like lights actually covered the pine tree.

Just as suddenly as it happened it all came to a stop. The smoke was sucked quickly into the center of the tree and started swirling around moving to the side of the side table. Panicking Lizzy rushed to the smoke too afraid to touch it but still trying to make sure it didn't ruin any of her new furniture. A bright light flashed and the smoke was gone in an instant leaving behind a small child.

The little girl was sitting Indian style on the floor looking innocently up at the woman in front of her. "Waph a cookeh?" Holding her hand out Lizzy offered the little girl a cookie. "You sound funny." Reaching out her small hand she grabbed the cookie and took a small bite. "It tastes good......" smiling shyly but happily she gazed at Lizzy. "Doeh hou haveh ah namve?"

"A what?" The little girl asked confused. "I said do you have a name?"

"No.....what's a name?" Smiling comfortingly Lizzy patted the cushion on the couch right next to where she had sat down. Hesitating slightly the little one sat on the couch.

"A name is something that defines who you are. It's what people call you. My names Lizzy. That's what people call me and what they remember me by. So I guess I should give you a name........" Thinking hard Lizzy remembered her favorite name for a little girl.

"Remi.....what do you think of the name Remi sweety?" Thinking on it the little girl nodded her head. "I like the name Remi.......ok I'm Remi now!" Smiling she hugged Lizzy tight. "Thank you for naming me!"

"You're welcome. Now We'll have to get you some clothes and toys and other things. Not to mention we'll also have to find that store Neena got you from and find out why you came from an oil but for now lets just hang out here by the fireplace ok?" "Ok!" Grinning both of them lay under the blankets watching the fireplace crackle.

Dear Diary,

Hi Diary! I just bought you today when me and mommy and auntie went to the store. I saw you and instantly loved you! Neena helped me convince my mom to buy you cause she said she was tired of me telling her all my thoughts. Your cover reminds me of my newest bestest friend Celyn! I met him at the bakery and we shared cupcakes! He's a scent child too isn't that amazing?! He's churros while I'm gingerbread but both of us are sweets! Neena gave mama Celyn's number and she said if I wanted to I could call him and we could have a play date! I'm so excited! <3

It's been awhile since I've written about Remi, but I've been dealing with something I'm not sure how to fix. I never should have let Remi go to that Rain event. She watched someone die. Murdered to make it even worse. I don't know details and I'd almost prefer to keep it that way. It didn't take long before Rem was her normal self again, but her memories are suppressed. I can't say certain words in fear I'll trigger one of her attacks. I can't say rain or death or murder or blood. Easy things to avoid saying for the most part but I don't know how to handle this. I've talked to Neena, and called mom and dad. I even sought some medical help too but they all say to wait for Rem to remember herself. I'm not supposed to push it and when she has her breakdown to be there for her. I wish I could take away my little girls pain....
