"Oh," he murmured. "I can understand why it would be hard handling the sudden unwanted attention... Breedings are normally rare around these parts, so after news of clams spreads through the Oasis, I suppose curiousty gets the best of otters..." He frowned slightly and shook his head. "By the time your three lovely pups emerge, the curious shall fade away, knowing not to be so nosy next time it comes to new clams." He added with a thoughtful smile. "Do you know how long the pups shall stay in the clams?"

She sighed a bit, but he knew what he said was true, Elizabeth and Hector got alot of attention when they had pups, so it would be doubly normal for otters to be curious about a single mother. She looked down at her clams, "I don't know actually, I am sure the pups will come out when they feel they are strong enough to open the clams up."

He glanced up in thought before nodding. "Give it some time... I'm sure under your care they'll grow to be strong, healthy otters." Wiping blood of his chin with a wrist he looked down to the spot where he thought the clams had been placed. "Besides being frustrated with the unwanted attention, how have you been?"

"I have been rather well, how about you? Have you been getting around ok?" she asked, a little concern heard in her voice. The peeping from the clams quieted down, probably the pups going to sleep for now.

"That;s good to hear," Ketsu murmured, relief in his voice. "Me?" He tilted his head to the side. "I have been alright. My guide and I have been wandering around," He indicated to the dalmation mini that was sleeping by the large oak tree. "Trying to see if we can find any interesting places. We haven't found much recently..." he noted there was less chirping coming from the clams. "Not that I have a problem traveling from place to place, sometimes I wonder what it's like to settle down in one area where it's comfortable enough to stay."

"Well, I am sure you can find a den for yourself, especially one close to the river. And my den is always open to you if you wish to find a place to sleep for a few days." she said, blushing darkly, again, glad he couldn't see her.

"Ever since the take-over it's been somewhat hard to find a den without being run out of someone's territory... Though finding a small, previously owned den shouldn't be too much of a problem... Just need to know the right place to look." he noted with a small nod. He smiled thankfully as she mentioned him staying at her den for a few nights if he'd like. "I'll remember I have a friend close by next time I'm in the area." he thanked with a soft purr. Rocking back slightly on his haunches, Ketsueki hummed softly as he mused. "Have you had anyone helping you with handling the clams lately?"

Morgy adjusted the clams in the basket, hearing a small squeak inside the one that looked like her. She looked up to him when he asked who was helping her and she sighed lightly, "Well, it's mostly been me. I am not totally alone really, I have my adopted son, he helps me watch over them, my brother Naruto, but he is usually busy keeping others out of our territory. Elizabeth has been busy with Hector, and Violet has taken to following Cornelius around when he is doing his patrol of Mistress Chings territory."
She shrugged her shoulders a little, "But I don't mind really, besides, its easy enough to hide them for a little while when I need to find something to eat, which is what I was doing when I ran into you!" she said.

Ketsu blinked, impressed as she listed off her family members. "That's quite a family," he murmured. "Well, it's wonderful to know you and your clams are doing alright. It seems like you have everything under control but if you ever need any help..." he began, only to absently glance down athis paws.
His head turned back in attention to Morgy. "Ah, I'm terribly sorry if I've been holding you up! Um, I do believe there is a river around here somewhere..." He gazed around blindly, ears trying to pick up the sound of the running water.
Behind him, a drowsy Domino shifted slightly in his sleep at the sound of the voices.

"You certainly are never a bother to me Ketsu. It is good there is a river nearby, it is just....I don't know where I can hide my clams." she said, her tail wrapped around her basket.

He blinked back to the place where the basket lay. Sightless eyes closed for a moment in thought. As he considered safe places for the clams, his ears flicked back at the soft yawn coming from an awakening Domino. "There's an opening at the base of that oak," he indicated to the tree behind him with a flick of his ear. "Big enough for the basket, I believe. Or if you would prefer the clams be closer to you when you go to the river, I could sit with them..." Sure, maybe he couldn't see what was around him, but that didn't mean he couldn't smell or hear a threat.

"That is perfect Ketsu! And if you could watch over them, I would greatly appreciate it! I wouldn't be too long, just a fish and a crawdad or too, maybe an oyster." she said, picking her basket up and going over to the opening. She stopped when she saw the sleeping, spotted otter and she suddenly felt unsure, not wanting to wake him.

"No problem at all," With a smile and a dip of his head, Ketsu followed Morgana to the base of the tree. Pausing as she stopped, he tilted his head to the side in slight confusion. "Something wrong?"
Still half asleep, Domino rolled over the roots he had been laying in between. Muttering something about a fish that got away, he slowly pulled himself into a sitting position and tried to rub the sleep from his eyes. As the mini stretched, he blinked up at the two blurry otters that stood before him. "Mis'er Ketsu..." his voice slurred between a yawn. "There's like... an otter that's like you... but not really... an'... an' she's got wings..." With a large yawn, Domino shook his head. "Oh!" he exclaimed as his vision finally came into focus. "Um... good evening!"
Ketsu chuckled softly at the mini. "Ah, where are my manners? Morgana, this is my guide Domino. Domino, this is my dear friend, Morgana."
The dalmatian give a bow of his head. "Pleased to meet'cha, Miss." Fully awake now, and glad to be in company, his tail wagged happily. He paused for a moment, eyes widening as he realized who the angelic was. "Oh, so you're Morgana. If what Mister Ketsu told me was true, you must be as kind as you are pretty!" He nodded cheerfully.

Morgana set her basket down when the small otter woke up and she stopped her giggle as he stuttered a bit as he woke up. She smiled to him when he woke up fully and she nodded her head to him in greeting. She blushed when he said Ketsu called her kind and pretty and she fidgeted with her paws as she smiled a bit shyly, "It's very nice to meet you Domino. I hope we aren't displacing you, but I wanted to my basket in that hole behind you." she said.

Domino blinked from the angelic to the hole at the base of the tree. "Certainly! It's no problem at all, really." he said curtly, stepping to the side.
Ketsueki fidgeted, blushing slightly from when Domino rambled on. Clearing his throat, he finally spoke again, "Domino, you wouldn't mind looking out to make sure there's no predators about, would you?"
The mini dalmatian looked up at Ketsu before nodding vigorously. "Sure thing, Mister Ketsu!" The small otter bounced to his paws before slipping into the hole at the base of the tree. A few moments later, further up the tree's trunk, he squeezed through a small knot and onto a lower branch. "I'll see 'em miles away from up here!" he called down before dissapearing into the upper branches.
Ketsu cast a weak smile to Morgy as the branches above rustled. "He's a bit... energetic at times..." he murmured before standing to the side for Morgana to place her basket in the hole.
