Alright, it's been updated once again, and all the slots are filled! But don't worry, there's now two places up for grabs. If Samayou or Dark Phoenix doesn't pay the gold before someone else does, then I'm afraid they'll be bumped out. Now it's a race to see who can get the spots first, in the First Shadow Arena Tournament!!!

"Hey hey hey, now. None of that here. We're friends, remember?" Said a five-seven man, white robes decorating his body. Nothing special, nothing wonderful, just clothes like any sane person would wear. His soft hands gently patted the exterior of a large blunt branch in his opposite hand.
The branch was firm and strong, obviously sturdy by the beaten end that was used to test it's durability only hours before. He rubbed the right hand's thumb on one spot in particular, for no apparent reason. His hand was slightly tanned, minor scratches along his knuckles revealing how much work he's done in fields and mule packing.
"Besides, you wouldn't want to see a three-foot long piece of ashwood shoved up your a**, now, would ya?" A delicate smirked crossed his features as the make-shift bat was lifted.
"You know, with some barb wire, a wooden baseball bat, and some well-placed stickers, I could be pretty damn deadly. Though that's more than what I can say about you." Not too fond of big shots, the young man grinned a little more and tapped the bat's head against the ground. "Mr. 'Undefeated of the East', I challenge you to a nice little end of the tournament showdown. And you better be there when I make it to the final round, big shot." The grin relaxed into a calm smile. "I need some food." He casually walked to the benches where a small gray satchel sat.
Though it was not necessary for him to pack food, he loved the taste of red wine and crackers. Interesting combination, no? He didn't mind at all what people would think of that. He looked back around at the fighters. "Before-fight meal, anyone?"

Whatever happens here, I just wanna say- I bruise easily. Oh, and good fight, though with some combatants its probably manslaughter.

David Nilato Awesome to hear, dudes. Now I need to decide which character I'm going to use... And since your creativity in techniques is graded, I may just use L鳩l because of his items which allow for some pretty interesting, non-lethal attacks. Yes, instant-kill, god modding attacks, or anything of that nature will be deeply looked down upon, and might be big enough reason for you to lose right there. Ah, and before I forget, First Page updated. mrgreen

UPDATE!
Thread is re-opened, and more slots are avaliable for entering! As stated before, Sign-up is stil merely 500 Gold. I'm allowing this for several reasons. One, the only difference to you, the contender, is one extra battle. Two, allows the newcomers and those who missed it to enter as well. And Three, it'll double your prize money. eek Yes, DOUBLE it. 3nodding
So this thread is now Open for 8 more contestants! (Read first post for more details).
