zz1000zz Priestley zz1000zz xXxMikamoxXx Look at it this way. Tattooing is not harming ur body in a way withs going to kill u. Now tattoos back then were mostly warn for something bad. Like something to show for satian but now there are still many for satian but also many in memors of people and for God. Cutting ur hair is also not hamring ur body. Cutting on the other hand is used for the reliogon most people kno as Gothic, now there r people who dress goth and people who r goth. gothics worship satan and they cut them self and give there blood to him. Now i kno just cuz u cut doesnt mean u r a gothic. but its harming ur body and if u cut in the wrong place it can kill u. This is why its still not tallorated and some people see tattoos r form satan On another day I would find this mildly offensive, seeing as I am an active member in Gaia's primary goth guild. However, today I helped a sixteen year old girl who had been kidnapped, blindfolded, gagged and tied to a table so an exorcism could be performed. The reason she "needed God's salvation" was she had decided to become a wiccan and owned a copy of The Satanic Bible. Was this girl a member of the same guild? I feel sorry for her as it must have been a traumatic ordeal but it's a bit extreme to associate such an event with the views of an individual in this thread. The opinion has already been addressed by Fushigi so what's the matter? No she was not in the same guild. I had only met her that day, and I had known about her for less than a month. It was mostly just a case of her needing somebody, and I was there. As for the person I quoted, I was not associating this particular incident with his viewpoint. Rather, the same underlying mentality exists in both situations. Narrow and close minded mindsets are what allow incidents like that to happen. Mostly I just found the timing of things to be rather interesting. Priestly zz1000zz So rather than be offended, I am just bemused. I honestly do not understand how someone could hold such ignorant and bigoted beliefs in this modern world that should allow everyone to see they are no different than the next person. Untrue. People are different in many ways. Consider the difference in your ability to reason compared with the individual you quoted and you'll see how different people can be.I assumed it would be clear when I said people "are no different" I was not referring to a literal interpretation. Obviously each person is an individual, and nothing I said was meant to dispute such. Well, believe it or not, compared to you there are far less intelligent people in the world. Shocking, I know.

Whoa Whoa Whoa!! Hold the phone. An exorcism on a poor girl who CHOSE to be Wiccan? Isn't that going against God seeing how he gave us free will. Meaning we are free to do whatever we want and believe in what we want. You can't give people exorcisms and what not because you think demons exist. That's just nuts. I mean you do realize that the exorcism could cause some trauma right?

That's cruel. I can only imagine what the "exorcism" must have been like.

Priestley Well, believe it or not, compared to you there are far less intelligent people in the world. Shocking, I know. Um, sure? Dark Angel Rai Whoa Whoa Whoa!! Hold the phone. If you asked the people who kidnapped her, it wasn't because she choose to be Wiccan. Of course, they would also say they didn't kidnap her. I just don't bother listening to anything they have to say anymore. xxPromarkxx That's cruel. I can only imagine what the "exorcism" must have been like. For what little it is worth, I got involved before the "exorcism" actually happened. I doubt it made too much of a difference, seeing as there was plenty of trauma anyway.

I think it was because she was Wiccan. A lot of people think that Wiccans are devil worshippers when that isn't the case. This is a good example of what happens when you don't do extensive research on something and believe the mass hysteria that is forced upon you. I wonder if the girl pressed any charges. If I were her I would have.

Dark Angel Rai I wonder if the girl pressed any charges. If I were her I would have. Her parents were the ones who decided the exorcism was needed. Trying to press charges wouldn't do her any good, but fortunately she was able to move in with other (better) family members.

She could've ended up like Emily Rose* (*I don't know what her real name is). She could've died from the exorcism then the DA would HAVE to press charges against her. That is technically child neglect..I believe that's the term.
