(sorry for the delay!) D;
Feathers ruffled to the discovery of other soquili so close to them. How had she missed them in this giant open space? Feeling her own pulse speed up naturally as a reflex, Setsumi pulled back to somewhat hide behind Hidalgo. Her teal eyes took to examining the new strangers quietly from her stance. One was another mare, but unlike herself, she had a pair of wings. Feathers that were actually useful. Her small ears fell to the detail, before glancing at the white soquili. A stallion, And his white fur made him almost seem the largest of the crowd.
Her tail gave a shy flick as she stood politely silent with a blush. She didn't have a clue on what to say or how to present herself. So let's see...Hidalgo. Oathkeeper. And had the other said her name yet? "I...I'm Setsumi..." She blushed more and peeked down to her hooves to avoid embarrassment.

"Hidalgo and Setsumi, lovely to meet you!" Oathkeeper replied, still smiling. He would have also addressed the Wind mare by her given name, but she'd only just said hello. So instead he just politely greeted her as such in return, "And hello to you too miss." Flicking one of his braids from his face with a small nic of his neck he glanced around again at the group. Hidalgo appeared to be the current leader. The rather lovely colored mare, Setsumi, seemed to have been following him and the unnamed Wind mare appeared to, as he had, just joined in.
"Formalities set aside, mind if I ask what kind of adventuring you lot are up to today? I myself have just ventured away from the herd I look after. A vacation for the mind and body so to speak" he'd began, "I was just enjoying the day when we happened across each other. If it isn't to forward of me to ask, may I join whatever it was you were at?"

The mare waited patiently for the names of others before she spoke again; after all, what use was it to jump in and talk nonstop? "Ayelen," she replied, tipping her cranium in greeting, "I'm not from around these parts, I'm afraid... I'm only here passing through, but I spotted you three and decided to stop." She laughed softly. "Thank goodness you're friendly, or I would have been in a spot of trouble."
She offered a smile to Setsumi, noting her discomfort. Hopefully she would loosen up a little later... right? Being so uptight all of the time certainly couldn't be good for you. Her ears swiveled to Hidalgo for a moment. "Where were you two off to, then, if you don't mind me asking?" Her head tipped to the side, wings ruffling then settling against her back again.
[[Ack, sorry for taking so long. xD;;;]

Hildago nodded to everyone, moving a little closer to Setsumi as he noticed her pull closer to him as the others introduced themselves. He wanted to keep her safe should anything happen, though he wanted her to be able to meet the Souili. These two seemed to be more on the friendly side, so he wasn't that worried about them attacking. But he had also learned to stay on his guard. He couldn't help but smile as Oathkeeper and Ayelen asked about the same question.
I was taking Setsumi to see the ocean. She has never seen it before, and wanted to. I have been there several times, and offered to escort her. We're making our way there now. His ears swivvled towards Ayelen as he turned his attention momentarily towards her, his tail flicking gently behind him; moving the air a bit around him. You're not from around here, may I ask where you are from? He also turned slightly to see Oathkeeper. You're herd is not very far from here Oathkeeper? He was interested to know what lands that Ayelen resided from. And last when he had passed through these lands, there had been no herd. He was currious wether they had just moved into this area, or if he had missed them completely when he had last passed through.
((Sorry it took so long as well. I went out of town for the weekend, and my friend had a quick wedding. So life has been busy))

"From there parts? No, not really." Ayelen replied, cranium tilting sideways a bit. Her dark mane fell in long tresses across her face. "I live in the great forests to the west of here. My children may have grown and moved on to their own lives, but my mate and I still wander together." A soft laugh came from her lungs. "He's out and about someplace, so I need to be back before the sun sets." Her tail swayed a bit behind her, ears pricked forward in attention.
"But the sea, yeah?" A smile tugged at the corners of her maw. "Sounds fantastic. I've only seen it once myself, and that was ages ago now."

"Relatively close, yes" Oathkeeper answered the patched stallion, trying hard to stand still after the mention of the 'ocean.' "The sea is my altime favorite place to be by!" he added cheerily, "I used to reside around there all the time before taking on a mate and herd duties." Oathkeeper was practically beaming like sunshine about the prospect of a venture to the seashore. However, since he had not yet formally been invited, he politely made a point not to officially include himself in the journey until asked.

(gotta love my short term memory) x____x
So..Ayelen and Oathkeeper were these two strangers. And they were all fairly new to these lands as well. The mare tucked near to her guide, being he was the only one she really knew. And he had the best sense of direction for the locations of their travels.
Holding her tongue as Hidalgo described their situation, Setsumi let her eyes drift to the side while listening. Her ears did perk though and she tilted her head to the others. "Oh, you have children of your own as well?" How odd. It seemed it didn't matter if they were rogues or herd members when it came to spending time away from your offspring.

I have been to those forests. They are nice. It is a pleasant place to live. You must enjoy it. I would not want to worry your mate at all. Though I have no mate or children to speak of, I have enjoyed the time I have spent with those that I travel with. He turned to Oathkeeper. If you would like to come along, you are more then welcome to accompany us, if Setsumi would not mind. I'm sure your own time there would give you some great stories and places to see, different then my own. Hidalgo turned to Setsumi to see if she would agree to Oathkeeper joining them. This was her journey, and he didn't want to do anything that would make her uncomfortable. Would you mind if Oathkeeper joined us Setsumi.

Sumi absorbed the words with thoughtful quietness. Was there....anyone to worry should she go on this trip? While she had no 'mate' herself, she still had offspring. Granted one did stay near the father. The other, it was only a mystery where she disappeared to. Pinning her ears, the feathered mare turned her own eyes back to Hidalgo's. "I do not mind it at all. I don't plan to back down at this point, despite the larger traveling group now." She gave a soft nod to the other two soquili, hoping she would calm enough to have a decent chatter with them. Awkward silences only served to make her more anxious.

Hidalgo reached over to nuzzle her comfortingly, sensing that she wasn't really sure about the larger group. Though, he would make sure to keep her safe should the others prove to be more dangerous, though he didn't think they would be. He had promised her that nothing would happen to her, and nothing would. One way or another he would keep his promise. So, shall we be going? We should make the trees before nightfall.

Eviotil stretched, it had been a rather boring time where she was. Lurking in a dark dank forest, very few creatures to interact with. She smirked at the remains of her meal. Poor little rabbit never saw it coming. She chuckled. He was a good rabbit, attentive, but, he kept bringing her carrots and shrubs. Meat. That was what she wanted. So goodbye little rabbit.
Turning her attention elsewhere, she heard two distinct voices. Lurking a little more, she saw two smaller Soquili approaching the area she frequented. Her wings stretched, Oh, good, I was getting bored. New pawns to toy with. Fortune it seemed smiled on the pale purple Kalona, bringing her amusement when she lacked entertainment. Evil red eyes watched as they approached, her voice would be sweet as they approached, lure in the flies with honey as the saying went. Eviotil waited, and planned, her tail flicking now and then.
