I don't like the anime, but I enjoy the manga.
My favorite character is Uchiha Madara(I don't know if you know him or not). He hasn't appeared in the anime yet, though you probably have already seen him and have heard Kyuubi mention him, if you watch Shipuuden.
I also like Itachi and Deidara.

^_^ Yeah, I don't watch the anime anymore, I'm not too fond of it after I started reading the manga instead. It's definitely better. >.<

Yeah, I hafta agree with you Zero. It has way too many fillers, which I'm sure everyone would agree on. I don't mind the differences in the character designs though. if i'm not mistaken, the reason there were so many fillers was because in Japan the anime was catching up with the manga so they were trying to take up time by making fillers. so they are/were necessary at least at one point in time. (you wouldn't want to be talking to someone from Japan and they say something from a filler that you didn't know, and you tell them that they are wrong only to feel like an idiot when learn about the episode. wink )

I love both the manga and the anime.
My favorite characters are:
Jiraiya
Itachi
Kabuto
Kakashi
Shippuden Sasuke
My favorite episode is any episode where Rock Lee gets drunk. oops...I mean Heavily Medicated!! evil
Silly little things like that is why i like the Japanese version a million times better. Itachi kills his entire village (bloody scene, Duh!) but instead of all the neat animation, we get the green slime thing!? Rock Lee can't get drunk, but he can get high!?!?
upsets me a little..... scream

I'll probably get around to catching up on the anime again, but at the moment I have a load of episodes of Bleach to catch up on because I've been too busy to watch them. Either way I didn't mind the filler with Shino laughing...that was pretty damn entertaining I think. ^_^ But the Japanese version is definitely a million times better like you said.

^_^ Lots of people like Shino despite the fact that he's one of the....minor/major characters. If you know what i mean, but I think that's why he's so fascinating, because when he does appear he always does really cool stuff.

i love naruto! my fav character in itachi! (i almost cried then he died crying ) fav episode, to many 2 choose from, i like the manga better so i read it more. as 4 watching the anime, i really dont care if its subbed or dubbed.

Not to be *OHHHHHHHHHHHH* but i consider to be what all naruto characters are... Shinobi, my fav characters are Hinata, Kakashi, Pain, Lee, Naruto, And Tsunade... I almost forgot, Jeriah! (think i spelled it rite lol) I have lots of favorite eps.... Les see, dubbed? yes. Subbed? yes. Yep
