Emerald eyes flicked momentarily to Nathaniel and returned to her list, a thin smile hovering over her cupid-bow lips. "Not many have. He's a bit of a recluse, a brilliant mind but no desire to be social in the least." Not with me, not with his brother, she added quietly, her expression momentarily grim. Alex was certain Kenth would die behind his desk and that he'd be perfectly happy to go that way.
"If you're going into...y'know, biochemistry stuff, you'll probably meet him. I haven't met Doctor Manneth but I know he's busy." Her words were light, almost kind, not quite the flippant disregard of earlier. It seemed a small bit of hope wormed its way into her; if Kenth was teaching the students, even if he had no love for any of them, she doubted he would encourage such behavior. Then again, stranger things had happened; it was a shame said things often occured while she was unconscious. Maybe there was a trend in that...
She blinked, pulling herself out of her own strange thought process and putting her last vial aside, signing the bottom of the paper in satisfaction. Sure, it wasn't in English, but that would give the good doctor a reason to call on her now wouldn't it? Smug, she gave Nathaniel a wide smile, pleased with their progress. "If you enjoy it, he may have more work for you," she offered up, not really knowing but figuring it couldn't help to encourage, "if you can catch him to ask. Or Professor Veilwood."
Start pushing while they're young, or so she liked to think.

It seemed, that in all the chitchat, Nathaniel too had run out of vials and had scrawled out his last one as the other woman spoke. Such was the way of the world. It worked like a mesmerizing clock, always moving onward, at any pace it so desired. However undesirable this was, Nathaniel found it best to just keep going, despite everything. If he let his world stop, then whatever would come out of such would be nothing but negative. Even know, as he wondered what sort of person Doctor Kenth was, he had not stopped labeling vials.
And now there were none left for him or her. Looking up, with a bit of a smile and a nod, he spoke lightly, almost proudly, "I look forward to meeting him then. There is probably much he could teach me..." Thoughtfully, he tilted his head to the side, and pulled out his own notebook to jot a note or two down. Looking up for a moment as he did so, his green eyes sparkled, "I am more than happy to assist both Doctor Kenth and Professor Veilwood. I have not met Doctor Kenth, but I have a high respect for Sir Veilwood; he is extremely admirable." And to this, he adopted a tone to indicate such, almost chuckling. Of course, he hadn't met any of the other Science related staff, so Ardanay Veilwood was the only whom he could speak for. Shame.

She nodded, vaguely amused that so few people had met the enigmatic doctor. He was such a prude, and she was going to give him a hard time for it next time they met. Why? Becaues she could!
Alex gathered the empty box, breaking it down with applied pressure at certain parts so she didn't have to rip the tape off, putting it by the trash can at the front of the clean room. "I work under Professor Larine, in the soldier division, so I doubt we'll be seeing much of each other unless we find ourselves in a situation like this one." She smiled, because it was the polite thing to do, and because she hoped that if they did meet again, it would be under more agreeable circumstances. "I wish you luck and success in what you aspire for."
She paused, biting the inside of her lip before adding, "If you need anything in my field, don't hesitate to ask. Greg or I can usually be found in the work out area." Alex had to start acting like a teacher at some point, might as well be with Nathaniel. God knows she about bit Scyeth's head off and wanted to strangle Weiyuan; she had to set an example at some point.
Yeah, she really could use some migrane medicine about now.
