Kirios smiled as he ruffles Yarrow's hair. "You just have to prove yourself. Show everyone you aren't as dumb as they think you are. Just, stand up for yourself."

"How do you even know about that nickname?" Yarrow's ear flicked when his hair was ruffled, his many tails shifting in response. "I stand up for myself...when it counts."

Yarrow's ears perked up slightly at the mention of Erik's name, but didn't say anything. He fidgeted, running his paws over the grass. "I would, but I always feel bad afterwards. I hate hurting others."

"N-no!" Yarrow's cheeks grew warm as he blushed. He plucked some blades of grass, trying not to let his mind wander and dwell upon the mentioned anthro.

Yarrow tilted his head, looking up from the grass to regard Kirios. He had been wanting to tell someone, but could just never work up the guts to do it. "...You promise not to tell?"

"Well you see...I uh...uhm...kind of have a crush on Erik," said Yarrow, his voice drifting off to a mumble towards the end. He held his breath as he waited, not sure how things would go. This being the first time he let on that he was into guys since Delilah told him about homophobes.

"The same way any crush happens? Wel different crushes happen in different ways ya'know?" Kirios sat in his spot, slight grin on his face and tail swishing behind him. "For all anyone knows you could have developed that crush any which way."
