When Allen left, Rynl had thought that would be all that was said between the two, and he and Lavi would begin talking about the nightmare, but when Rynl saw the look on Lavi's face when he turned around, the blonde knew that wasn't going to happen anytime soon,Lavi looked to be on the verge of crying.
'For god's sake! Was he a Bookman or a...calm down Rynl, that isn't going to help anyone. Just relax and access the situation.'Rynl knew what Lavi was going to ask, and he let him go with a 'Fine, but you better come back later so we can talk old man.' He had a few things to think about while the ghost was gone.
Lavi quickly flew to catch up with Allen. "Moyashi-chan! Wait!" He wasn't going to let the silver haired boy do anything that might affect his health. (did other spirits get sick? Lavi wondered, putting it aside for later to look in to) "Wanna...wanna eat breakfast with me?" He asked, not sur of what else to say.

Allen sighed softly, yet smiled as he turned around to face Lavi. "Lavi-kun..." he combed his hair with one hand as the other came closer to him. He seemed concerned but the clumsy question he made almost sounded like... an invitation or something, while in fact it was him who had first went towards the kitchen. He chuckled quietly at that and nodded. "If you want to." he replied with a slight sideways tilt of the head.
Entering the kitchen he sat himself down on a chair and looked over at Lavi, half guilty that he worried him without a reason, half-happy that he was there -someone to whom he could talk and joke with about nonsense- or at least this was what they used to do. He didn't dare bring up past issues... it laways seemed to put Lavi in quite a foul mood. So he suddently found himself caught in a quite awkward silence.
"Uhm, Lavi-kun..." he started off. He wanted to speak about the momentarilly flash of memory he had, but it really sounded weird and out of place so he wasn't very sure. "In my dream..." he trailled off. "I was reaching to out to something... someone..." he lowered his eyes, not knowing what to explain or how to do that. He didn't make any sense at all, dammit.

'Was it..to me? Nah, wishful thinking J--Lavi.' Even his thoughts wanted to call him junior, how strange. "Maybe it was someone you thought could save you ne?" Lavi went to the cupboard, changing the subject to breakfast to lighten the mood. "So what are ya up for today?" Lavi, the newer spirits had discovered, was the more experienced cook of the original five house members and the food he cooked tasted pretty good.

Allen nodded his head and smiled up at Lavi, appreciating the other's try to cheer him up. His stomach growled demanding food as well and so, scratching the back of his neck he thought of what he'd like to eat right now. Anything goes when you're hungry but... since it was breakfast after all... "A fry-up would be nice..." of course this meant a lot of work and a lot of food, but Allen couldn't help himself even if it wasn't exactly convenient. After all the others would wake up as well sooner or later -Allen being sure that the first ones to rise would be the bakeneko, Verissimo and Casey, due to their acute sense of smell.
"Do you need any help?" Allen questioned with a small yawn as he looked over at Lavi. While he was a better consumer rather than cook he still didn't want to let the other do all the preparations by himself.

Lavi could feel himself become sick, and thought he might be a little green. He remembered Allen's 'cooking' well. "No thanks moyashi-chan, I got it, i'm used to cooking now anyway." Because he refused to let Rynl cook as well these days (all due to an incident that nearly killed Dino...again. Thank goodness even Usagi yokai had tough stomachs)."Sides, I like to cook for ya." He got out all that was needed for a fry-up, turning nobs and the like on the stove while Allen watched.

Allen crossed either hand over the other, laying them on the table, to create some sort of a pillow to lay his head on. He smiled to himself. He almost felt like the other was pampering him. He wasn't a good cook anyway, and it would seem Lavi's intuition to decline was quite acurate. He almost laughed at himself for that. A person who eats so much is bound to know some cooking -most of the times, but Allen was deffinitely NOT included in those times. Tilting his head to the side when Lavi said he liked to cook for him his smile widenned a little as pure white locks fell over his face, hiding the mark of the curse marring his skin even after death.
He suddently found himself at a loss for words but the silence wasn't awkward. It was like one of those quiet moments where the space was asphyxiating by the million billion of words said, that words had no meaning anymore and so silence had a different wholeness in it. And the silence wasn't even absolute, there were the sounds of cooking breakfast and the faint sounds from outside and then there was also his breathing and heartbeat. Right now he felt as if nothing else was needed. This silent communication was all he needed right now.
"You used to not have feelings, Lavi..." he suddently spoke. His eyes widenned at that. How rude! Whatever took over him and made him say that...? And it wasn't spoken in a confused way, or a questionning one either...! More so like, relieved? What the hell??? This time the tiny fragment of memory that came back to him was more like a revelation, like the drop of a velvety curtain -Allen would swear he even heard the sound the cloth made as it fell on marble flooring- rather than the breaking of a lock, more willing, even intentional. He blinked twice at the ralization. He could faintly recall their first encounter and what hapenned shortly after that. Like in death, in life, he found their encounter beeing more of a finding rather than a meeting... oddly enough. And it might be but a brief period of time and but a small patch of darkness mended inside of him but... it made him genuinely happy.
"Sorry..." he sighed. "I just remembered something..." and such words, easily said, usual words without a crucial meaning, had never held so much importance for him.

"I know I didn't, but I---you remembered!?" He nearly dropped the pan he had been holding in shock, but had quickly caught it before any of the food feel out. "It's okay! Remembering is a good thing!" And it was, The order in which he remembered didn't matter, but Allen was remebering, and that was all that was needed.

Allen smilled softly at the shocked Lavi. Was it really such a great thing that he remembered? Well... maybe it was, he thought to himself. And it had come out quite easily as well, though he never expected for his memories just to return to him. He needed stimuli that would awaken them, he knew that all too well. Sitting up, suddently quite excited he smiled. "It is, isn't it?"
"When I remember... I have to say it." he spoke quietly. Those were Dino's words but they really got engraved in his memory. He believed them to be a blessing, almost. Nobody had ever told him something like that... "Lavi, I- I promise..." what was he saying? "When I remember..." he stopped feeling he might be making the other awkward. He didn;t even know what this was, the thing that he had to say... Dino never clarrified that.

"You'll what Allen? Tell me?" What did the silver haired boy want to tell him though. Just when he was about to ask, a familiar pale tail appeared just at the rooms exit. "Is breakfast ready?" A quiet voice asked. Lavi smiled sadly, Casey would never be trusting again would he? And even if he could, it would be years. "No, but you can sit with the beansprout while ya wait. The blonde cat nodded, sitting at the table, looking down at his hands. Breakfast was finished a few minutes later, enough for the four house occupants who hadn't joined them, (Rynl, Dino Len and Kaito. "Well, I outdid myself." Lavi said proudly, staring at the food he had made.

Allen was about to reply he didn't know but then the pale bakeneko, Casey entered the room. He hadn't had a talk with him yet. All that they ever did was greet one another like 'good mornings' and 'good nights', nothing more. Casey always left before Allen could ever strike up any sort of conversation. It was a repetitive pattern so Allen guessed that it was either that Casey was very antisocial or not trusting of people he didn't know well. It was sad. He himself had that tendency of always beeing just too overly trusting. It enstranged him a little. He might just be naive... or...
Before he could make up his mind Lavi had finished cooking though and so the unpleasant thoughts melted away quickly. Lavi was a fast cook, alright. "How it looks is entirelly irrelevant to how it tastes." Allen joked stealling a mushroom which quickly dissapeared in his mouth. He smiled in content. "It's so good." he complimented Lavi's cooking and nodded his head. Okay, he had to eat such breakfast for a long time. A long time. A really long time. Noticing how Casey still was looking his old almost miserable self he smilled over at him.
"You're going to love it, Casey-kun!" he said nodding his head a little."Have you ever had British breakfast?" he was just trying to lighten up the mood and conversate. He hoped it would work, after all... he had always managed to get along with people. -Except maybe a couple exceptions to the rule...

Lavi watched the pale neko shake his head tilted back in a curious manner as he looked at the food in front of him. "Try it then neko-chan!i know you'll love it!" Lavi knew Casey could compete with Allen on the amount of food they consumed, not because he needed to, like Allen, but because he loved food, and loved Lavi's cooking. Lavi sat down at the table, smiling at the two pale colored ghosts. "Let's eat!"

Allen smilled over at Lavi and Casey who had not spoken a word yet and tilted his head to the side, studying Casey mostly. The boy intrigued him but he had to stop staring not to make the other very uncomfortable. Focusing on his food he started eating, overthrowing the strange awkwardness that lingered between him and Lavi ever since earlier that morning. His ominous feelings too dissapeared quickly as his body woke up entirelly, throwing the sleep's numbness away along with his nightmare's remnants.
"Where did you learn to cook such a good fry-up, Lavi?" he questioned. "Where you British?" the question was quite direct and maybe a little nosy but Allen couldn't just help but ask.
"Can we go outside today?" he suddently asked, raising his eyes to look across the table to the other ghosts. So long he had only exited the house twice. The first time it had been on a brief walk with Timcanpy, the other tagging along with Rynl on an errand. It was just that it was snowing -even so slightly- and it was winter's first snow. He wanted to be out there not just sit inside. And after all he had had a good breakfast and he had company and he wondered if Lavi -if none else- would like to tag along. For one he knew that Casey wouldn't want to, Alptraum was a no-no because it would ruin his mood, Verissimo... not... just not... and Dino and the two Sireni, Kaito and Len where still sleeping. It was so early anyway.

"No, just knew someone who was." He sighed softly, eating his own breakfast, paying little attention to the eyes on him. That was the odd thing about Casey though, he seemed to be as calculating and observant as Rynl sometimes, though his fear kept him from showing it.
What was with these two? Allen he could understand, but Lavi? 'He's acting like a lovesick schoolgirl.' None of the spirits knew it, but Casey was quite a cynical person, Lavi and Rynl knew he was also an observant one. 'I hope for Rynl's sake, Lavi hasn't figure it out yet. That man is better off not remembering, and i'm better off playing the fearful traumatized soul.' And none knew it but thanks to Lavi and Rynl, Casey had mostly gotten over his fear, but the lessening of the pain caused him to realize a truth he hoped would never get out. Well, pushing all other manners aside for the time being, he began to eat breakfast, and nearly let his own little act slip when he practically devoured all of it in a few bites.

'That look again...' Allen noticed. The same. It was the same every time, every time... Why? He couldn't hold a conversation without making Lavi go into this state. Was he that bad with words...? Maybe asking, maybe it wasn;t the smartest thing to do. But then again... how could Allen know that Lavi had a friend who was British? He heaved a sigh, his question still lingering there unanswered, but he had lost most interest in having company. After all it could only cause more pain if he stayed close to Lavi. He was no good after all. He picked on his food a little, but he didn't feel hungry anymore.
Getting on his feet he heaved a sigh and went to the direction of the door. "I guess I'll be going out for a little while." he spoke quietly walking to the front door as if in a trance. A lot had hapenned today and it was still just early morning.
The first first snow. He wanted to catch the first snow. Because he, himself was like snow. Or that was how he would see himself right now. It was a subconscious connection he made. In truth he would never agree with being compared with snow. He'd simply say that the snow was beautiful when he was not and that it would bring joy to people when he could not. Allen didn't know how close to snow he was, though. Frozen and lonely and quiet, barely audible, unwilling to disturb anyone...
"...I'm... I'm sorry..." he sighed before openning the door to go outside.

"Go after him." It was barely audible, but Lavi managed to catch what Casey said."But why? He doesn't remember me--oops!" He covered his mouth with his hand, what he just said he couldn't change. 'And I kept it a secret for so long!' He panicked slightly, until he felt a hand on his shoulder and a reassuring smile. "I won't tell him, or anyone, but you can't tell anyone that...well, it's obvious isn't it?" He referred to the fact he was touching Lavi and acting like a regular person. Lavi nodded, shocked that a) Casey of all of them had calmed him down and b) his act was much better than Rynl's. Casey walked past him after that, but turned back. "Oh, and for something a bit more personal, you can't tell Rynl it's me molesting Verissimo." Casey walked off, to his and Verissimo's room, wanting to laugh at Lavi's shocked face, hearing a whispered 'so that cat wasn't lying.' as he closed the door, yowling and hissing heard a few minutes later.
Lavi listened to the noise, backing up slowly towards the door, then flying off to find Allen. "Moyashi! Moyashi wait up!"
