((That's okay, my muse has been having the same problem though school work has been adding to it.))
The red mare flew as fast as she could through the forest. She zig-zagged her way in between the trees as much as possible to try and make things harder for the beast chasing her. Her heart thudded loudly in her chest and she felt very light from all of the adrenaline that was in her system now. She did everything that she possibly could to just keep running and running as fast and hard as she could. She just hoped that her mate would wake up soon and that she would be able to get away from the beast and circle back around.

Spyro thought he finaly had her after chasing her this whole time, zig zaging through the trees. a grin came to his face and he felt he could take the dive and charge her head on to knock her down then finish her off. head lowered he went as fast as he could charging at her not payign attention to what was near him which was trees. never carefull he hadnt thought about the price he would pay if he missed and slamed into a tree.

Settia continued to zig and zag in between the trees. They were the only things between her and the beast that was behind her. She really wasn't sure what all he was capable of and didn't even know whether or not the tree could really save her. She just prayed that Dyami was up and not that badly injured so they could get as far away from this place as they could once she lost the Kalona chasing her.

Spyro having charged too fast was unable to keep himself from smashing head first into the tree as he just missed being able to catch the cursed mare. groaning, he backed away from the tree stumbling almost and gave a snarl. oh Cynder would have a laugh if shhe ever found out about this. giving a growl he needed to find the mare quick before he lost her for too long since he didnt want her or the blasted male geting away.
Khirsah had been roaming the lands alone which he did often and he was surpised when he came across his grandfather beaten up badly. wide eyed with shock, he quickly went over to help his grandfather in any way he could as it seemed his grandfather had been beatten to hell and back.
Dyami had finaly awoken with a groan and was surpised to see his grandson. slowly geting to his feet with the help of his grandson, he was pretty beaten up and slowly was remebering what happened. " wheres your grandmother Settia?!" last he remebered the kalona was after her, and he hoped she had managed to get away as he couldn't bare losing her as it would be his fault.

Settia heard him smash into a tree that wasn't too far from her. She gave a yelp and tried to pick up her pace. She hoped he had knocked himself a good one. She decided now would be a good time to start circling back while he was dazzed and unable to follow her.

Spyro snaling as he stalked around trying to recatch his prey. eyes narrowed, he snaped at a tree tig near him and set off hoping that second of hitting the tree hadnt let her get away. hissing so far it didnt click in his mind just yet that she had gone back for her stupid mate as he was too riled up to stop and think where she might of gone.
" Khirsah help me find your grandmother now..... i wont forgive myself if somethings happened to her." he had a pained look on his face and he was almost panicing but kept calm as best he could. " and dont give me that look khirsah lets just hurry so no asking questions." the prideful stallion did his best to keep control over his emotions as he was beyond worried for his mate
frowning, khirsah helped his grandfather as best he could. he wanted to ask what the hell happened but knew his prideful grandfather wouldnt tell. staying silent he hoped his grandfather would be alright and also his grandmother.

She didn't know that her grandson had come across his grandfather and was no helping him. She didn't know that anyone in her family was close to where they were. Her ears flicked back as she ran and she couldn't hear him chasing after her anymore. It seemed like her idea had worked but she didn't dare slow down. Not until she was back with Dyami and was sure he was ok.

it only just clicked that she would head back to that idiotic male and so he stopped and charged his way towards where he knew they had to be. hopefuly he was no too late and could kill them once he got to them.
Dyami and Khirsah hadn't taken but a few steps when they saw Settia coming to them. Dyami gave a sigh of releaf as he could see that his mate was alright. " lets hurry now and get out of here." stumbling to his mate with khirsah's help, he wanted to get his mate and his grandson far far away from here. " i also think its best we go back home as well Settia, you too Khirsah."

Settia came thundering into the clearing and was ecstatic to see that Dyami was awake, moving and alive. She was also surprised to see her grandson there but was thankful they he had come. The more they had in number the safer they all would be. "Oh, Khirsah! I'm so glad to see you but you shouldn't be here! We are all in danger!" she said quickly and rather out of breath as she went to her grandson.
Her legs were aching now that she had stopped running but she kept glancing behind her. She knew that she hadn't shaken that monster off for long and that they all needed to head away from here as fast as possible. She then went over to her mate and nuzzled him, so happy to have him alive. "Yes, we all need to get out of here and head home. We will be safer at home and I have had enough of adventure now to last me for awhile!" she exclaimed.

Khirsah shook his head and helped both his grandparents away from the area and to a safe place so that they could rest before they go on the rest of the journey home. he kept dead silent the whole time, wondering who or what had attacked them but knew better than to pester when they both where beyond tired and needed rest. they all where lucky though in the end spyro had lost track of them and all interest had left as it had become too much of an annoyance.
