Thade walked into the Great Hall and breathed in the air. Strange, he was used to it smelling like the great feast the house elves usually prepared. But it had been so long since he had gone to relax. He went over to the Slytherin table and sat down on the table, right in front of the fire.
Hydra glided in after Thade. In her arms was tucked a small spider that she intended on practicing her charms on. "Thade!" she called out, and her voice echoed through the hall.
His head turned lazily towards her. "What?"
She smiled with a vain look in her eye. "Nothing, never mind." And she sat at the opposite side of the table, down near where the tables of the teachers were.

Hana looked up from her lap at the cry, but did nothing more. "Kain... What do you think is going to happen? You know what I mean, right?"
Kain, who was reading a letter from his father sighed, "I don't know, Hana. It's mostly up Liem and Sean, I'm assuming. Don't get so excited about it."
"But Kain, I can't contain myself!" she looked down, "Oh did hear? Akio's back!" she giggled and grabbed onto his sleeve.
"Yes dear, I heard." he laughed half-heartedly.

Hydra looked around for a moment and then spotted Kain. "Kain," she said, waiting to see if he would hear her. She felt a little out of place. Thade obviously took no interest in her, which put her off slightly.

Anya skipped into the Great Hall and went right over to Thade, sitting right on his lap. She kissed his cheek. "Hey Thadey," she said, her eyes bright.
Thade squirmed under her. Being on the table, her weight was uncomfortable. He gave her a tight squeeze. "Um...do ya mind?" he asked, refering to his numb legs.
She jumped off happily. "How was your summer? And...Romania??" She giggled.

Kain quickly flashed a charming smile, "Hello Hydra. How is your day going?" He turned slightly to look at her.
Hana looked at her as well, "I don't believe I've actually met you. Formally, I mean. My name is Hana."

Hydra ignored Kain's charming-ness and just gave him a regular grin and then she looked at Hana. "Nice to meet you, Hana. I'm Hydra. Sixth year and just getting back in the loop." She walked over to Kain and put her arms around his neck, giving him a soft hug, something she had noticed people doing over the summer. Just she never had. So maybe she should.

"I shall tell you about it...once you sleep off that energy. It's getting late," he warned her.
She giggled again. "Aww....I don't want to have to catch up later. I was hoping we could do it now," she said, trailing the inside of his leg with her finger.
He shuddered. "Done with that, Anya," he said, removing her hand.
Anya pouted for a moment, then turned on her heel, swiftly walking out of the Great Hall. Jerk..., she thought. I'm perfectly fine!
Once she was clearly out of sight, he walked out of the Great Hall, heading in the opposite direction.

"The pleasure is mine!" she giggled, "Oh, I know. I have to say, I enjoyed coming back to school. I get to see my friends, and so many new students. Some cute ones, too." she giggled again.
Kain wrapped an arm around her waist and gave her a gentle kiss on the cheek. "How are you?"

She wasn't sure who to respond to first, so she tightened her hug on Kain and then let him go, batting her eyes unintentionally. "I'm fine, thank you." Then she turned to Hana, not sure of who to carry on her conversation with. "Cute ones? As in guys...Who does little miss Hana have her eyes on then?"

Kain smiled and patted the spot on the bench next to him. "Here, sit next to me."
Hana giggled, "Oh, I like everyone! Though, that new teacher is kind of cute. What about you? Do you like anyone?"

Hydra, pleased to be invited, sat down next to Kain, almost cheerfully, and smiled at him. "I'm not the 'having a crush' type of girl. Hmm...I haven't met any of the teachers yet. Which one?"

Kain smiled pleasantly at her and listened to the conversation intently. Nodding every so often.
"Well, the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher is cute. That's for sure. Thade's kind of a cutie. And of course my main men are adorable." she giggled, "well, there's gotta be someone you like, at least? You have friends here, don't you?"

She rested her head upon her fist, which she leaned with her elbow on the table. "I had friends, but they graduated and left. Thade and I know eachother, but that's about it. I know Sean and Liem too. And Kain of course," she said, with a little grin in his direction. "Who's the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher?"

Kain smiled again and wrapped and arm around her shoulder. "We, I'm sure that Hana and I would love to be your friends."
Hana giggled. "I forgot his name. He should be around here somewhere. I don't really know though. Do you take Defense Against the Dark Arts."

"I eat Defense Against the Dark Arts," she said with a slight smirk. But then she grinned. "My favorite class in the history of classes. I'm excited to meet this 'cute' teacher." In her mind, she melted into Kain's arms and was swept away, weightless. "What's your favorite class?"
