"I didnt mind, honest," Rhythm defended easily,letting it drop. She thought about it, watching Kie, wondering so many different things about the stallion--he was mysterious to her. After a few more moments of silence, she finally continued. "Any question..okay...Uhm...Do you have any good memories you'd like to share? Have you ever traveled with anyone?Would you like to travel with someone one of these days?" Rhythm blinked, then quickly added, "You dont have to answer all of those--or any of those, if you want to..I just tried to think of something that would be pleasant for you to answer."

He smiled. He'd have to let her ask more questions. But...well sooner or later she'd stop when she realized even the most innocent question could bring out a painful response. Lets start from the middle. "I have never traveled with anyone before. Since i ran away from my old....home...i've been pretty much alone. I've met some here and there, but never got a chance to travel with them, sadly. However, yes, i'd love to have someone to travel with, even if only for a short while. I don't really like being alone. Its easier to remember when you only have yourself as company. Besides, who doesn't like to have a friend or loved one to spend time with on their journies. I do hope to stop traveling one day, though. even if only for a while. Wandering from place to place...i'd like to have a home one day, a place to return to, to settle down after a long trip. A true home." He smiled lightly. "As for any good memories. Well...none from...back then. But each time i have run into another, i've gotten a little happier, so i suppose those memories are good. Such as right now. This will be a vary happy memory." He smiled. A happy one indeed. Someone who didn't laugh, who spoke to him, not down to him.

Rhythm listened to him,watching his expression and taking in his emotions.She frowned at the memory bit,but blushed at the last bit. "W-well, I can travel with you, if you like.." she replied softly, looking at the ground in embarrassment for a moment. "And I can help you find a home...I don't have one either, remember." She looked up and smiled at him. "And I'll help you make good memories,too!You sound like you could use a friend..some help..someone," she stopped for a moment, then finished with, "Okay, one last question...How would you feel if I stayed with you for a while? I could use some company, as well,and as you said, having someone to travel with would be good for you...Can I help?"

The little stallion smiled lightly. "Yes" He replied at first. "I could defiantly use a friend. And it would be my pleasure to travel with you and have your company for as long as you see fit." He had a feeling she would be able to help. Alot. Such a short time, and yet she was vary warm, happy. He made him happy to be around such a mare. His past, the memories that pushed the way to the surface now and then, seemed so small, so pointless, he felt truely calm for the first time in a while. He nodded his head. "You can most certainly help. You have helped now, and i am curious what more you could do." He smiled. Curious and delighted. The interesting mare was sure to bring out a new him. Or perhaps, it was not new at all. Simply the true him, hidden all these years behind pain and suffering.

Rhythm beamed, beyond happy that he had said yes."Oh thank you!" she squeaked with a tiny bow, scooting closer to Kie and nuzzling him. "I promise I'll stay with you, help you, take care of you, and try my best to stay with you for as long as you want!" She smiled an angelic smile at Kie and laughed. "Okay, I'm calm now," she promised, blushing a tiny bit darker. "Okay, we've established that...What next?Is there anything else you think we should know about each other?" she aked eagerly, ready for anything. "Or would you rather me just shush my mouth and sit and rest in silence for a little while?"

Kie blinked in surprise at the nuzzle. And her promise. He regained his composure and smiled. "That sounds wonderful." He smiled. At her questions he had to laugh softly. She seemed so excited. "Well, I'd love to hear more about you, and i would be happy to answer any other questions, even the bad ones." He said. He didn't want to stop talking. There would be time for getting back on the trial, seeing more. Right now, he did want to rest. But he was tired of quiet. "I...do think you should know that i...well i have a small tendency to have panic attacks from time to time. Its better now...But if i ever get really quiet, stop moving, or look like i'm about to freak out...just wait a moment and i'll come back to my senses." He felt none of the normal fear of telling her this. He felt she would understand.

Rhythms smile turned into a frown when she heard the bit about the panic attacks. "Panic attacks?" she repeated softly, worried. "Is there anything I can do to help stop these panic attacks?" she asked, watching Kie. He didn't seem like he was having one at that moment, which was good, but it still worried her. "I wont just run off or anything, but I will be worried...But lets talk about something else, shall we?" she added hurriedly, trying to keep on light subjects. "Its your turn to ask me a question--go ahead, anything. Anything at all.You can ask about my fears, my weaknesses, my emotions, my habits--whatever you want."

"No one has ever tried to help with them...You might, if i am unlucky enough to have one in your presense, try to talk to me...that might help." He smiled lightly. "But i belive in your good company, i shouldn't have to much to worry about in the way of panic attacks." He sighed when she once more insisted on changeing the subject. "Rhythm...its not nessisary to keep changing subjects." He smiled lightly. "I understand you don't wish me to think of anything upsetting, but really, its alright. I'm happy to discuss things with you. I havn't had anyone to talk to in so long..." That and he had no questions for her...

Rhythm looked down at the ground. "Okay..I'm sorry, I suppose I just worry too much.." she murmured, keeping her glance down at the ground for a few more seconds before looking at him again. "Well, I'll let you talk so much that you'll wish I'd go away!" she said brightly before cocking her head to the side. "But seriously..Is there anything in specific you want me to help you with? Or is it just a 'help me with any problem we can work together on' kind of thing?I might be able to help you with one thing more than another, depending on the situation." There she went, rambling again, like a therapist...

Kie smiled softly. "I worry alot as well, hence all my problems. I advise you try and stop worring before you end up worse then me!" He laughed softly, happy to break any tension. He smiled kindly. "I'd never wish such a thing, Rhythm. Never. If anything you will tire of hearing me speak. But i have no qualms talking to you. It is...soothing." He nodded lightly. "Right now, i think we will see, if you really wish to help, what comes up. I've been fairly alright. I think just having your good company will be all the help i may need." He hoped so. She seemed like a younger mare. And so happy. He didn't want to be the one to age her. But he also hopped she might help him in more then just her company, as he had said. He hoped she would help him...loosen up. He smiled softly. "We will see what situations arise. Now, if you'd like, since you seem to be so worried i will grow tired of having to talk, why don't you talk about yourself. Fears, happiniess, anything you think i should know, or what you'd like me to know." He smiled, tail flicking happily.

Rhythm's face turned a slight shade darker, and she nodded. "Alright, uhm.." she paused, a look of concentration coming over her features as she tried to think about something interesting to tell Kie. "I'm afraid of heights. I suppose it has something to do with my own height, I'm not sure, but I tend to act very...erm..childish when the subject is brought up, or when I'm around them.So you can expect me to vanish behind you in high situations," she admitted sheepishly, a small smile appearing on her face. "Kinda silly, I know, but its just a part of my personality, I don't know why." Rhythm paused again, and then added, "Helping others makes me happy. As you've probably already noticed, I don't worry about myself or my own problems too much--I know I can solve them eventually. As for others, however, I always worry about them, and always have the urge to do whatever I can to make their lives easier. I guess it's just this...maternal instinct or something. I suppose I got it from my mother." She laughed slightly, "I got to things from my mother: My maternal instinct, and then the capability of becoming easily attached. I'm not around others too often, so when I am, I tend to...cling. Sort of. I still keep my independence, but I lose some of my qualities, as well.Does any of that make sense?" she asked suddenly, blinking and watching Kie. "Or did I go too fast?"

Kie laughed softly, smiling, glad to see her so happy, and rather silly. It was so much more fun and interesting. And it was so refreashing. "I understand the heights. Not a fan of them myself, but i will try my best to protect you from them." He smiled, poking a little fun at her gently. He nodded at the already apparent kind nature. He paused, however, at her last personal statment. Easily attached? "It makes sense." he smiled kindly. "I...well when i am in the company of others i become attached as well, i belive. Though i belive it has nothing to do with my parantage and more with growing up where...i did..." he trailed off, shaking his head. "Do not worry about clinging, however. I don't mind at all." He smiled. No, he did not. He would much rather a companion who was clingy then to one who as aloof.

"So there's a high possibility that we'll become attached to each other," Rhythm summarized, an amused smile on her face, "Well isn't that amusing? Maybe then you won't feel so alone, and I might be able to help more!" She liked the idea of them traveling together--not that she'd actually admit how much--and then remembered the protection statement. She looked down at the ground, "T-thank you.." she said quietly, slowly looking back up at him. "If theres ever anything I can do to repay you, please, feel free to tell me.." She smiled and looked back up at him, "And don't worry about your past--what matters is your future, and how I'm going to help you make it the best it can be! Even if that does mean pulling you by the hoof to do something," she added with a laugh.

"There certainly is that chance." He agreed. He smiled happily. "I will be sure to keep that in mind." He promised. "i will not hesitate to ask for you assistance." His smiled faded some what at her bold statement. His past did matter, as much as he wished he could believe in what she said. And he would try, try his hardest.
"Rhythm, i will try to keep my past from getting in the way but, should it catch up to me...should..." He shivered. "Should anyone from my past show up...do exactly as tell you, please? i don't wish to run the risk of you getting hurt so should the time ever come, listen to me and do what i ask without hesitance." He really didn't want to scare her away but he would never forgive himself if something happened to the sweet mare because of him.

Rhythms expression changed. "I didn't mean that your past didn't matter," she said, watching Kie,worried. "I meant now is the time to focus on your future--keep a positive attitude until something makes you need to return to your past. Your past isnt your life--your future is." She slowly stood up, nuzzling Kie. "But yes, if something were to happen, I would follow your orders...But I wouldn't leave you completely. I wouldn't want to.You need help--you want help--and I want to help you. Nothing would make either of us more happy, I think." She smiled again. "Now! Off of depressing subjects--optimism is the key to success!"
