Ksi opens one eye from his position over on the couch in the corner. He sees the newcomer, and senses a familiar aura about her. It's as if he recognizes her, even though he's pretty sure he's never seen this person before.
(Is this the same Synge that Ksi new before? I only ask because your description seems different, and you didn't seem to recognize Ksi. I wasn't sure though, maybe you just haven't noticed him yet. Let me know. smile )

((Same Synge, technically. She changed physically and mentally between the beginning of the last season due to certain events. I forgot you didn't know that because you weren't in the last season. She would know Ksi, but hasn't noticed him yet. ^^))

Ksi finally recognizes Synge by her spiritual signature. A little surprised, he sits up quickly.
"Synge! Is that you?"
He stands politely and approaches her slowly, looking her up and down as he does.
"Wow, you sure have...changed."

Synge ((*pounces* I told you I would return, eventually! haha))
Synge took no notice of anyone in this odd place as she entered. She had simply walked straight to the bar without looking up. She however did catch the sound of someone approaching her now. Warily, she flicked her steelblue eyes upwards to meet the figure of a seemingly friendly man with blond hair. However friendly he seemed, she instantly felt she disliked him. Perhaps she shouldn't judge so quickly, but she wasn't in the mood to be friendly these days either. As she considered what to say to him, she shifted a bit uncomfortably in the chair, noting that she was a bit warm in this jacket, but didn't feel comfortable removing it with the way this man smiled at her. In a rather passive tone, she spoke without much thought. "Hi, do you work here?" Jimmy turned on his charm when Synge entered but it seemed he was pretty attuned to the way that women responded to him. He felt the rejection drop on him quicker than he could smile again so he returned to his normal disaffected self.Nah, I just broke into this dude's house and sleep in the back, he ain't been home to notice yet. For a moment, Jimmy almost sounded like he was serious, his body language didn't give off that he was lying either. But soon after the words had left his mouth, he smirked and then pulled out a smoke and started tapping the butt on the counter in some sort of "packing" ritual.Eh, I'm playin'. Ash pays me a little to watch the place and serve drinks but there have only been a few parties since I started. There is a whole lot of ******** tho...I think Ash jus' lets folks go upstairs and get their s**t blown out and then leave. That's most of who shows up.

Synge kept her one visible eye set passively on the strange man before her. She simply wanted something to drink, so if he could answer her question she could get on with that. Hearing the obvious non-serious statement he made she stared at him unaffected and unbelieving. Continuing to watch the man, she looked rather unamused. Flicking her gaze to the cigarette he pulled out, she returned her attention to the man as he spoke seriously this time. When he dropped the name Ash she showed some emotion, surprise that is. "Ash?" Her voice sounded as though she knew the person she spoke of, but she had no way of knowing. Could it possibly be the same person from the old place? It seemed unlikely, but from the description it certainly sounded like him. Synge was about to make another comment, and then ask for a drink, but she was distracted by hearing her name called out from behind her. Shocked, she turned around to see someone she never thought she would see again. She tried to speak, but couldn't find the words. As he approached she almost looked scared. Hearing his words she shrugged and managed to speak. This wasn't good. She never wanted to come across someone who knew what she used to be. "Ksi...I can't believe it. Er, yeah, changed a bit I suppose..."

"Yeah. So, what happened? If you don't mind my asking, that is."
Ksi leans casually against the bar. He then gestures to invite her to sit down.
