Hey everybody, the name's Nonee, and I'm a freshman art major. n00b to the extreme. I'll get something up to post eventually (might take a while, I am both lazy and shy, things I need to cure...) which will probably be a Hellboy fan-comic.
I've been drawing for a while now, but I've never been good about actually sitting down and putting out a comic. I got into reading comics later than most so I don't know everybody's name who did this story arc for that series, I just know that "oo, that was a good story with pretty pictures!" sweatdrop (So your references to Liefeld leave me blank.)
I love Alan Moore, Mike Mignola, Guy Davis, and Eric Powell, and Steve Ditko is pretty bad-a** too. (Go 60's Spiderman!) Fave series are Fables, Y The Last Man, BPRD, and The Goon, but I usually don't have the cash to get them all. gonk
Also I plan on doing a webcomic with a writer buddy this summer, so advice on that is dandy.

Hey guys. My names Kazuma but for nearly the entire span of my Gaian life people have called me Neo(Irl name is Josh...so bland crying ). I've been writing for nearly my entire life but ever since I got out of highschool I've been looking at it more seriously and revising an idea I've had for quite some time.
I've only been reading comics for about two months but I can safely say that they have begun to play a tremendous part in effecting my writing process and the way I view my story...needless to say that much like every other comic fan I know irl I want to have my story heard.

Oi oi, everyone. Clockwork Ninja is the name and writing is my game. I've been an avid storyteller since I was a freshman in high school (I'm now a sophomore in college) and recently I got bitten by the comic bug. I have so many stories I'd like to tell, and some of them just can't be told by words alone. While I consider myself a fairly proficient writer, I have zero skill in the visual arts.
My biggest problem is that I have never written a script before. I've looked into the different formats and am attempting to make one right now, but it is still a very different process from writing short stories.
My biggest influence in writing would be Mike Mignola, master of pseudohistory and comedic one liners.
