Ghost of War SAI AND NUNCHAKU!! evil

You better believe I know how to use them! twisted O_O....
That is my favorite weapon.....>.>
Though I don't know how to use it....
If I was to wield a weapon....I would choose the bow and arrow...they had an archery range at Camp...and for the first time using one....I actually did pretty good....<.<
Other than that I ALWAYS...and I mean ALWAYS....have a "pocket knife" on me...and I put it under my pillow when I sleep....
And don't think for a moment I would hesitate to stab someone....

Sabres. I <3 sabers. I have a saber, 2 short swords, a katana, Twinkle (dad has Icing Death), an Axe, a dagger, and a staff.
Dad's got a LOT of weapons, both martial and bladed (Ghost, Sai are mine and Dad's fave non-bladed weapon). And Dad bought that EXACT scimitar at Gencon, Zaru.

Bo Staff, Ever since my dad let me hold a pool stick. I've been obsessing about any type of long pole is pretty much usable.
I learned how to pole vault! biggrin

I picked sabre, because of this reason: sabres were designed to be used most efficiently from horseback, but actually wielding the sabre itself in a charge is very simple (anyone can do it). The curved edge lends itself well to a slashing attack while riding by your opponent. It's much easier to learn to wield the sabre proficiently in this manner, though controlling the mount effectively is an entirely difficult problem, and something I have no experience with (horses and I don't get along well). I've watched videos of riders attempting to strike targets on poles as they ride by, and though they are very experienced and the sabre is easy enough to position, they still have great difficulty in getting their horse into the right position as they ride by. Hussar Light Cavalry Small Arms PromoIn this video, the hussar cavalrymen display use of the sabre against melons atop poles. They display both slashing and piercing attacks, however, it's well known by historians that in battle, light cavalry were most effective at slashing which the sabre was primarily designed for. Piercing attacks were more commonly used by heavy cavalry who did not use the light curved sabres, but instead used heavy straight blades while mounted on larger and heavier horses capable of delivering a more powerful impact. A light cavalryman attempting to pierce rather than slash, especially if unskilled, would risk not only missing, but losing the sabre from his grip if he struck home with a thrust. A slash allows the rider to attack one opponent, keep his blade in hand and then attack additional opponents in the charge before actually "bouncing" back (as cavalry formations were prone to do after the initial charge).

T.T My hand-eye coordination sucks, so no, for anything long range. But then I'm deadly slow with anything heavy. So I guess the best there would be a saber. But the best Ever, would be a Rapier. ^-^ I took fencing for a few years, and it's probably the best I could use.

i guess u mean the saber. like cavalry saber. i mean sabre. its french and the best way to describe it is...i guess a one sided sword, with a straight back, but a curved blade, and a hand-and-a-half handle. but i guess saber counts too.

I <3 sabre. I only have one though. We have like... 3 or 4 katana (excluding the double one that Kadaj used in Advent's children. My boyfriend has Sephi's Masamune). And yes to the cavalry fighting. Dear lords. If a horse doesn't want to get close to the big scary horse-eating monster with the sharp or pointy thing it is NOT going to.

For me in real life? I would definitely use a scimitar or a short sword, leaning more towards teh short sword side. I've trained informally with Kendo swords. :3 They're really very fun. Anyway, I'm very good with fighting with a staff, so that would be my most realistic choice, even though it's harder to kill with a staff. :C
[BTW: Hi, I'm new here. XD]
