"Excellent. I'll talk to the Headmaster," Herei murmured, stroking his chin. Hmm. One should really have a beard if they were to take up the habit of chin-stroking. How would he look with a soul patch? Hmm, intriguing thought, but beside the point entirely. "I'm sure he'll have some students that can help you decorate and what not. As for prizes, those sound fine. I'll see what I can do to donate some credits, hmm?" How's that for generous?
"Do you need anything else, Mr. Ackhart?"

"Ehh? I'm really going to be doing this?"
It still came to the lad as a shock each time he thought about it - the whole mental idea of commanding (in a way) such a massive event. He'd really need help now, at least one other student willing to give him a hand with the more menial tasks (or strength related), so that was what he decided to ask for as another item.
"I probably could use another body as help. I think I have just the person in mind too, someone who probably wouldn't mind being drug out of class to set up for a party instead. Right, if it's him then I should have no problems."
The 'him' that Micajah was referring to could only be one other student - their friendship was rocky at best, but perhaps he could pull a favor from him. Scyeth Akazar.
"If you can get me help and provide the prizes then I think I can handle the rest."

"I'd be more than happy to collect some prizes for you." Herei smiled. "And, if you can get invitations for me, I can send them out to all the students so you don't have to look their dorms up." It was something small, but it would make Mr. Ackhart's day a little easier. (Not that he wanted to make it too easy, not if the boy was going to learn anything.) "Now, you have a lot to do, sir. Why don't you go get Mr. Akazar?" Herei returned to his desk breifly, scribbling out a not before handing it to the youth. "This should get him out of class, if you need it. Good luck, Mr. Ackhart. Make it memorable!"

Micajah nodded both weakly and hurriedly as he took the paper from Herei's hands, his mind already wondering what he should do to get Scyeth to help him. Asking was obviously the best and easiest thing to do, and he probably was going to settle for that, but what would he say?
The two of them weren't that awesome together for starters, and he didn't know if the guy even liked Halloween. Maybe somewhere along the way he'd have to convince Scyeth that doing this would get him closer to something, or drop the fact a teacher was willing to give out prizes.
The whole "teacher + prize" thing was probably going to be his best bet, and Micajah gave a polite smile to Herei as he made his way to the door and out of it, making sure to vocalize his thanks as well as he went.
It was only when he was halfway down the halls to the classroom he was sure Scyeth might be in did he remember he'd forgotten all of his stuff.
Oops.
