Monroe gazed out at the ocean, at everything that had been familiar to her. Now, however, the water seemed to shimmer quite a bit more, the sun was at an ideal angle in the sky and there were scarcely any clouds. A perfect day.

Riima was beginning to stir. She was laying on a bed of animal pelts, it was nice and soft, and smelled like Sunil. He was her new friend she recalled. She already felt so comfortable here. She rolled over, not quite ready to get up.

Monroe's ear twitched, sensing movement back inside the cave. She turned around to catch Riima stirring. Now how am I gonna tell her... She started walking back to sit beside the bed of pelts, then glanced at Sunil.

Riima could smell Monroe next to her, she flipped her body to face away from her and took a deep breathe trying to fall asleep again.
Sunil just shrugged from his spot in the cave. He was a little nervous about telling her.

Monroe just sat there, watching Riima. She definitely wasn't rushing it, Roe was a tad nervous about the teen's reaction. She was a teen, after all, and teenagers weren't the most emotionally stable of foxes.

"What's wrong?" Sunil questioned, his muzzle right in Monroe's ear.

Monroe let out a slight gasp, not expecting Sunil to be so close. She whispered, "You know... She should get her full amount of rest and all.."

Sunil scoffed, still near her ear. "That isn't the problem," he chided her. "Let's just sit outside until she decides that she needs to wake up."

"You don't have to be so mean about it." Monroe shot back, her voice hushed, and nudged Riima with her paw. "Riima, would you wake up, please? I absolutely must tell you something." She gave Sunil a satisfied smirk.

Riima squirmed away from the prodding. "No," she said softly but firmly.
Sunil sighed and moved towards the opening of the cave to sit out of the ledge. He watched seagulls diving towards the water. He couldn't really smell any other foxes out here.

"Riima, come on, now. Don't you want to erm... Go do something?" Monroe began regretting rejecting Sunil's offer to sit outside and wait for her to wake. Sometimes I am too stubborn for my own good.

Riima still resisted and snuggled under the animal furs.
Sunil laughed outside. "Told you," he said loud enough for Monroe to hear but not bug Riima.

Monroe rolled her eyes and turned around, walking over to Sunil. She sat down beside him, "No, I told you." She smirked, nudging him a little.

"That makes no sense," Sunil scoffed in response. "I should go hunt soon though.." He added, gazing out over the ocean.

Monroe sighed, "You can go, then, I suppose. I thought it out all wrong. Perhaps it would be better if you weren't here when I told her?" She nodded her head in Riima's direction.
