Doro stuck his tongue out and flew higher. "Last time I checked, you can't fly!! So unless you sprout wings or magically Float up to me, I don't think that I'll be feeling any 'pain'!" Doro was relishing the moment, and he flew a loop lightly.
[ Oh, and please don't actually come and fly up. Humans can't fly.]

(hehehe. who says I need to fly? I can be SOMEWHAT practical...)
Avenger laughed. "you fool...I don't need to fly." he said as he whistled.
Ravelt heard the whistle and moved up to his master, knowing exactly what he wanted. He liftem himself as high as he could towards Doro.
Avenger bodded at Ravelt before jumping on his back. He ran up Ravelt's back and onto his head before jumping, easily reaching Doro's height thanks to Ravelts size. He swung out an arm to grab doro, and he had the same malice in his eyes as before, mixed with a bit of loathing.

[lol yeah... I thought of that RIGHT after I posted.... sweatdrop ]
"Whatever. You still can't catch me." Doro said lazily as Avenger's hand snagged the tip of his boot, nothing more. He laughed airily and flew further from a steaming Avenger. Perhaps, he thought, I can just hold him off until the rest of the troops arrive. If he couldn't drive off the Rishmans himself, he could at least save them from being slaughtered. "Remember, I'm a ninja. I could outspeed you any day!" He seemingly disappeared and reappeared behind Ravelt. "I was tired in the forest of spirits. Now you don't have any hope of hitting me!" But, he knew that part of this was just a bluff. He couldn't keep up the speed for very long. As soon as he slowed down, he knew that Avenger would have him. Still.... He swallowed and kept dashing from place to place.

[Oh come on... Ravelt isn’t that big. If Doro can fly, he’s going to go out of reach. He’s not going to be hovering above Ravelt’s head. The dragons are only about as big as an average bedroom. Want me to measure it for you? My sister's room is that bid. If you want to fly, wait for Venix. >.> *falls over and twitches* You guys are too much sometimes. You can’t do everything. But fine. I'll bring you down to earth]
Xan smirked from where he sat. He had taken a liking to the small bat's spunkiness. He took a glance at Fayt, who grumbled.
"He won't be able to keep that up for very long."
Xan's eyes began to glow. Just because he was a guardian... didn't mean he couldn't have some fun. "To even survive the war, sides can't fight themselves. And they're not even fighting the bad part of it."
Knowing an air bluff wouldn't hurt Ravelt, he formed an air serpent, and slammed it into the dragon. The snake instantly recoiled, and slithered into a coil in an airy fashion, silver and whispy. It hissed audibly.

Doro let out a startled gasp as he accidentally dashed straight into the wispy snake- shaped cloud. He began to panic, and struggled to stay aloft. This had completely taken him by surprise. What other course of action could he take but to drop to the ground? No! He willed himself to stroke his wings backwards, but he could already feel the tiring ache setting in like iron in his wings.

The snake didn't move. Xan had the air spirit under control. It opened its gaping jaws, hissing violently. It dropped Doro onto the ground and hissed still. It seemed angry, but it was just Xan's irritance bleeding through.
Fayt grinned, laughing. "I like the look on his face."
"Whose?"
"Not Doro's," he said, laughing some more.

Ravelt looked confused. The snake hit him, but it didn't do much since it hit doro as well, and it had little force.
Avenger sighed and turned, motioning for Ravelt, Venix and Kratos to follow. "come...We shall find the intruders on our own then...I feel no need to waste my time catching you..." he said as he walked away, his pets following. He had to find the Rhismans, and slaughter them all.

[HEY! You can't do that!! You can't read minds! I find it very aggravating that you're leaving and saying that you're going to find the Rishmans so that it's conveniently right after my character thought that he was going to try to stall you!! it's no fun when you do things like this! I don't think I'm gonna roleplay anymore if you insist on godmoding!]

[Eeep! Hold on Falina. Chris, I agree with Falina on one point. You can't 'god-mode' everything. It's not as if nothing won't phase you, and you have to be hurt and have realistic abilities. We all have restraints under which we play under. We can't over do them. Only the Gods can control a particular element completely, which is.. well, only owned, so far, by Kayra. Plus, a more natural reaction would be to attack or try to destroy the wind snake. At that point, none of you can realize it's a mirage, and not an actual spirit. Play somewhat realistically. >.>]

[Just saying what I felt. ANYWAY. Back to the roleplay]
Fayt turned to his brother, whacking him with his paws. "You think they realize what that was?"
"The snake mirage? No, probably a lot. There are a lot of random occurences of spirits attacking in Havaix. keeps it exciting. It won't be too long before they notice up. We may be far up... but we're not so far up that a flying bat wouldn't recognize us."
Fayt sighed. "What of the Rishmans? They don't usually attack. Something is just wrong with that picture."

[yay!] Doro scrambled to his feet and looked around for the snake-thing he had seen earlier. Another spirit? He thought, locating the wispy shape in the dawn sky above him. Well, if it is, I won't do much by physically attacking it... The young bat attempted to plot out a strategy on how to take on the massive serpent, but he couldn't think of anything that would actually hurt it.

[….On a normal basis, I’d say that I couldn’t think of anything either. I’m glad those things don’t actually exist. However, some spirits like the snakes weaknesses lie in their spirit gems, since it is the only thing hitable. If you know what I mean.]
Xan toyed with his powers, and forced it to curl around and block Avenger’s path out. He needed no Rishmans to be killed today, and he wasn’t in a ‘saving the helpless’ mood. He knew there were other helpers on duty today.
Fayt sighed. “How come you get all the powers, and all you do is play around with a snake that won’t hurt anyone?”
Xan narrowed his glowing eyes. “Powers are a gift, and I reserve them for protecting. I’m still waiting for the bat to realize that snake is a mirage… or how to beat it. It’s not as if the gem is translucent.”

(OH! I'm sorry mel and falina! I misread some stuff...I had actually planned that if avenger hadn't caught doro and he kept dodging he would decide to stop, and I kinda forgot to think about the spirit. I didn't mean do look god moding...will you forgive me?)
Avenger sighed. "well...I doubt this should be a HUGE problem..." he said with a sigh. "Ravelt." he said quickly.
Ravelt nodded and sent a flame at the little spirit, and it looked like it worked for a moment, but once all the smoke cleared, it was clear that spirit was still there.
Avenger looked intrigued. "so...this spirit IS more of a problem then...fine. I guess i'll just get some answers from where I can." he said, setting his sights back on doro, who wasn't even looking at him at the moment. Avenger ran at him and swung out his arm, attempting to grab the littly bat again.

[It's all right, don't worry about it. It's just that when you're sitting around with a lot of power on your hands, it's hard not to throw it around. I know Ravelt is a power packer, and so will Venix when he gets to be an adult *sorry Kratos... all you're good for is healing*, but it's not going to be the Trojan war all over again. All of these guys have more than one Achille's heel.] [Second thing, let me clarify. The spirit gems are generally fragile. When they're young, they break easily, so they need to be cared for. But as they grow older, the mythics had invented ways to harden the gem over time. Or, on the contrary, epecially guardians, layered their gems with a crystal. Guardians though, are other cases.]
Fayt looked at the scene for a moment, and turned to Xan with a question burning in his eyes. "Aren't Ninja's trained to fight with and against spirits?"
"Not anymore, sadly. The spirits began to vanish... and there wasn't so much of a need. The old masters remember, but they can't teach those abilities as well as they used to."
The snake coiled again, with a strange hiss. It moved around, tightening itself like a spring. It looked like it was planning to strike.
