Iephina isn't 1 in japanese "ichi" i thought it was ichi....some guy came into our class doing a harrassment presentation and he was going to perform a skit so he wanted us to go "1,2,3 ACTION" in Japanese....so he decided to teach us but he said "1" was ich, like as in "itch", he sure is crazy xp When counting in Tokyo, the mostly say "ich, ni, san, shi.." and don't pronounce it "ichi". rofl

If you use windows go to microsoft.com and see what they have. If you use a mac you may have to search around to see what you need. *I use windows XP and had to just select what I wanted to have installed on my PC.

I'll add my contribution:
http://www.sf.airnet.ne.jp/~ts/japanese/cover.html
I ran across that site not too long ago, goes really in depth as far as pronounciation goes.

Googlelagunero Very well, I've been learning some japanese (not much) Same here. I've been trying to learn Japanese, but I mainly use the Japanese Wikibook and this phrase book that I got. I can read some Japanese though, so I'm trying to read the Japanese Wikipedia too. I mainly read stuff that I've already read in English, which is mainly science stuff, so now I can recognise quite a lot of science words but I still don't know much Japanese. xp I almost wish that I chose Japanese Beginners at school. Oh well, too late, and besides, I have too many subjects to choose from already. (and I'll avoid posting too much about what subjects I'm doing)

Woops! me again!
I thought I should finally try to translate some guy's user title on another forum, wich I was wondering about for awhile.
愛する者よ死に候え
wich, as best as I can tell after a long while of running across jdic sites and kana tables would be something like
those who love me will die aisurumonoyo shinu ni masu
Any opinions on that? even after turning that into romanji, I had to use of creativity, google and some french to come up with that meaning so I dont expect to be right on the money, but I gave it an honest shot rofl
