There was a strange fierocity in Kais face as he moved to kneel in front of her and kiss her, a sort of kiss that stole breath and made one ache-in more ways than one. After one of the more passionate kisses they'd shared he took both of her hands in his and kissed them, still on one knee and not moving. " Saravati...Sara, Sara, Sara..." His voice polished her name until it shined like the perfect word it was. " I love you more than anything I can possibly hope to describe...Pontificating on your smile, on your eyes, on your strength and gentleness would not do you justice." He gave an awkward chuckle and kissed her fingers again.

How she wished he'd just shut up so they could kiss like that again, and yet the words coming out of him were so sweet that Sara decided against the wish. It was a minor thing that she didn't know enough of the language to know what 'pontificating' meant, but she was smart and could guess her way through his outpouring. "Kai, I don't know what you're up to, but if it was not for your goodness, I... I would still be lost."
Saravati's one hand snuck out of his grasp so she could stroke his face before kissing him once more. "I wish I knew how to express myself like you do, but I still trip over my words sometimes... but you are so good to me Kai, and I try so hard to be just as good to you. I do try, I do try." Still she'd no idea what was going on. For all Sara knew, it was just a time for truthfulness and loving, nothing more.

Kai smiled, craning his neck to kiss her again. " Sara, what Im trying to get at is a very important question." He let go of one of her hands, reaching into his pocket and taking a deep breath. He pulled a small black box from his jacket and opened it up, prominently displaying a beautiful ring." Would you do me the greatest honor of becoming my wife?"

Her eyes had never grown wider at the sight of anything before. "Oh Kai..." were her first words before all her emotion cut off the rest. There were noises that could have been words, but through all the tears of joy, nothing was coming out clearly. Sara looked from him to the ring, smiling and crying. She'd never cried, not since the day she told him about losing her family all those years ago.
After Sara finally collected herself, she said in the clearest language she could, "I would love to be your wife and have you as my husband." In Cule agility, Sara completely bypassed the ring to dive forward in the tightest hug she could give him. It threatened his ribs and neck all at once, though all Sara could think of was how amazing it was to even have someone like Kai in her life at all.

Kai was never one for crying, but he did now. Tears leaked out of his amber eyes as he buried his face in her hair, gasping about how much he loved her. " Sara, you are a wonder. I am eternally blessed that you deigned to love me." He took her face in his hands and kissed her, their lips twining as if they couldn't bear to be apart. After many minutes, Kai reverently took her hand and slipped the engagement ring onto her left hand, kissing and raising them both to their feet.

Saravati looked up at him with her still moist eyes to see his face still glistening with his own. "No more tears," Sara whispered with loving kindness. Very slowly, her palms wiped away every trace until he looked well again. "My Kai... my lovely, wonderful, strong, good Kai. I know my father would be pleased with you. My mother would treat you like a son." She had to pull her smiling lips together for another kiss before they spread once more in laughter. "And my sister might try to steal you."
It was still so amazing how two people of such different descent could be so happy. In her mind, Sara could remember the black, leathery wings Kai was not so proud of showing, and even then smiled. He was her, and she was his, and if he loved her cat ears and tail, she loved his wings even more.

" And I wouldn't pay her any attention because you are the only thing I could ever need or want." He smiled and brushed his lips all over her face. " I love you, love you, love you. All of you. And I want to be with you always.." He murmured against her hair.

"You will be," she whispered. Her own lips kissed his cheeks and neck, lips and forehead whenever he unwittingly craned the right way. "Do not worry, love, you will be..."
The night sky above them began to cloud just the slightest bit. It was always hazy in Veratia, but the thin veil of rainclouds made the stars invisible. Not that Sara could tell, as she was too preoccupied with Kai to even care.

Kai smiled and kissed her once more. " Cmon, we'd better head home. I'll make us some desert if you like..we can share it and make plans and share our dreams.." He wrapped an arm around her waist as they walked back to his speeder. " Personally, I love kids."

"What on earth would they look like?" Sara asked aloud as they walked back, practically drunk on happiness. "You are going to have to wait on those kids, love, but really, would they have wings and my ears?"
Sara wasn't ready to be a mother. If anything, she was ready to get her life in order first, with Kai at her side to help her every step of the way. She got into the speeder, and waited for Kai to get into the driver's seat, all the while staring at the beautiful ring upon her finger.

Kai chuckled and shook his head. " We would probably be some of the first to be married and have children, some of the first to breed." He sat in his seat and winked rogueish at her. " We should get on that." When she raised a brow at him, he laughed. " Im joking, joking." He started up the silver machine and they were off, drunk of happiness.

**hahaha lol didn't realize there had already been one engagement on here! XDXD yay for cuteness! <3 Devy you are just so popular! ;D**
Richard had borrowed Damian's speeder, glad that he and Lorey could cruise through town for once instead of zooming off in some desperate escape. He smiled, not able to keep his eyes on the traffic for too long, distracted by Lorey's breathtaking beauty. He finally made himself focus, so he could help reach their destination safe and in tact.
They finally made it to the restaurant, in one piece mind you. Richard sighed, smiling proudly at the thought of escorting such a lovely creature anywhere, let alone the nicest place in Veratia. Getting out, he rushed over to held Lorey out of the passenger side, throwing his key to the attending valet who was too busy gawking at Lorey to pay attention, letting the keys fall to the ground. Richard hardly noticed himself, gently pulling Lorey from the Speeder with care. "What do you think love?" He asked, a small, happy smile on his face.

**Popularity is one way to put it. xD**
"It's... it's beautiful." Lorey looked upon the beautiful restaurant with glittering eyes. Strings of lights brightened the darkness in the gardens, while music gently came along with the breeze playing through her hair. She felt so small in the grandness, and yet every time she looked down at herself remembered how much she deserved and maybe even belonged in the world of shimmers.
She took Richard's arm like the ladies she'd seen with escorts before, unable to keep the smile from her face because he was just so striking. "Where do we go?" she wondered aloud. "Do we have reservations?"

"With the way you look...we could get in without reservations easily..." He winked, leading her towards the grand entrance. "But, just in case their manager on duty is blind, I did pull a few strings...I used to work on the force remember? There are a lot of people in Veratia who I'm aware did illegal things in some past life, and owe me big." He explained, as the doors were opened for them, revealing the true beauty of the Celestial. A very stuffy looking man stod behind a platform, noticing Richard imediately. "Ah! Misure Mentaro! Welcome! I have you're table ready and waiting for you!" He exclaimed a bit nervously, directing them through the restaurant. As he did so, many of the fancy couples amidst them seemed to stare, or at least pretend not to see the grand love the two shared. Richard wanted them to look. he anted them to see Lorey in all her splendor, to view her as the princess she was. To see the pure love the two held for each other...he wanted them all to stare and see it with their own eyes. *i'll let you describe where they sit, like in or outside since idk the details of this place very well XD*

*... -wings it-*
They were led to a smaller, two-person table that overlooked the gardens, which were also lined with the pretty twinkling lights Lorey loved so much. She hardly noticed women examining her dress or the glances she received over the rims of champagne glasses; everything was just the night out, and having Richard at her side.
Lorey didn't take her seat right away, though. Instead she looked out at the modest gardens, and concentrated on the smell of the flowers in the evening. She'd had the same feeling every time she walked past the flower district on the way home from work, only then she knew that the shop was her employment now, and that the whole area was no longer some strange land. She was apart of it.
"It's really beautiful, Richard..." she said, but thinking of her new job made her excited all over again. Her blue eyes looked up to him to share that excitement. "Did I tell you about my day yet? I'm so preoccupied that I don't even remember."
