The wind whipped through her hair as well, brushing it far to the side and out of her eyes. Her small wings flapped appreciatively with the breeze.
She laughed slightly at the mohawk fashion the wind made with his hair.
Made her want to get it to stay that way just for her own amusement.

"No. No mother." Even though she was doing the talking at the moment she wanted to know more about him. She wondered if he'd be as giving with his information as she was being with hers.

"One. I haven't seen her since I was a baby. And the pack didn't know I existed until recently." It had been true, she'd lived a largely solitary life until recent.

"What of you?" She snickered softly, "Does your father know where you are?" It seemed only proper considering he'd asked the same of her.

Khint kept his eyes locked on hers, marveling at the mismatched hues of her irises. Her question seemed like a faint whisper as he was mesmerized by the sight before him. He shook his head lightly, clearing his thoughts in order to answer her question. "No," he said softly. "No, my parents were taken by the gods quite some time ago." There was no sound of mourning in his voice as he spoke. "We were never close. They died when I was younger than you," he explained to her, with a solemn smile.

He tilted his head suddenly, remembering the comment regarding her pack. "Why was your pack ignorant of your existence?" he asked her, almost irritated with the idea of such indifference.

She looked at him in a rather confused fashion, like she didn't understand just what he meant. She could make a guess, but she'd never seen a corporeal god before. She assumed it was some sort more philosophical outlook more than anything.
"Strange." Was her only comment on this male's parent's death.

Her curiosity left his coat for the time being to examine his face instead.
He had a handsome build to be sure as she continued her intent examination.
"Loki has been away from the pack since before my birth. He's just recently come back, bringing me with him." She smiled soundly, it was typical.

His jaw tightened slightly, then relaxed... allowing the muscles in his neck to contract and release a slight build of tension. His skin twitched as fireflies came to settle on his coarse fur. The massive malu remained intent in thought for quite some time before speaking. It was unlike him to share memories of his past and although he tried his best to accept his parents' fate for what it was... the screams and cries still haunted him at times.

"A pack can be your greatest treasure and ally," he said softly, believe his words as he spoke them. Although Khint was a firm follower in the Nature pack, he tended to remain aloof more often than not. It wasn't necessarily his style to be a lone wolf, but lately things had been troubling him. He turned his crisp gaze toward Achlys once more, examining each emotion that flickered over her face. He caught her smile and was unable to read its origin.

"I am grateful to have such lovely company tonight, Achlys," Khint said to her, a deep sincerity echoing in his barreled chest. "If you'd like, we can take a walk around the temple grounds. Although I've seen them many times, you have proven to me that there is beauty hidden in the deepest of crevasses."

Had she upset him? Her eyes narrowed slightly, noticing the slight tense in his muscle. She didn't question him over it when he relaxed however. Whatever bothered him had worked itself out.

She shrugged. "I wouldn't know." Her mind raced trying to sum up a clear definition of what she knew the pack to be, her experience's with the pack.
"The few members of my pack that I've met, have been nothing but cynical in nature. My father included."

She let out a soft sigh, hearing the rise and fall of the timber of his voice. There was something soothing about it that she couldn't explain. "I think that'd be....educational." She decided after a moment, "I've never seen the temples grounds. Certainly not in depth in any case." She didn't know what the expect, whether with Khint, or with this prospective tour.

She cocked her head to the side, watching with strange contemplative amusement as the fireflies drew in around him. She'd never seen such strange glowing bugs before, but she noticed they stayed away from the bulk of the color on her, but did draw near. Her fur was softer than his in spite of her presently harsh life.
"What are those?" She asked quizzically.

"Hmm?" Khint hummed, turning his head slightly to examine the bugs that continued to attract themselves to his colorful pelt. "Oh, they are fireflies," he said soothingly, his maw relaxing into a sweet smile. "We both worship the same god, so they seem to be naturally attracted to my presence." He looked up Achlys, his mouth slightly open and poised as if to start a question, but he stopped. Normally he would be curious to know another's god or goddess of worship, so far she had not mentioned her alignments in nature or worship. He decided to remain silent on the issue until she was ready to share more secrets.

"Shall we?" he suggested instead, rising to a towering stance. He shook himself, the dust of the earth falling from his underbelly. The fireflies dissipated and returned intermittently. The great malu lowered his head and stared down at the youngling. "Since you are familiar with your own residence, we can start in any corridor you choose."

She stood herself, not really needing to shake the earth from under her belly, she hadn't been laying down long enough, and she was always especially careful with how she held herself.
She made quiet note of the fireflies. It had never occurred to her that bugs could have or worship a god.

She smiled. "If we started where I live, it would be far too easy to get lost in the deep catacombs were only corpses lie." She started to pad forward towards the above ground temples.
"Care to show me where the normal malu locate themselves?" She waited for the larger male. She held her self with pride, tall and straight. Well, as tall as one of her stature could make herself.
