What are you gonna be in New York for? *cries* It is extremely unlikely that I will be able to go to New York; the only time I've ever been on the coast was to Boston for a whopping 2 days to see a friend's graduation. Anybody up for Chicago? Since my top college choice is there, I can probably do that! blaugh Actually, Missouri has some decent campgrounds as well- there's a couple around where I live that aren't terribly isolated or anything, but still nice.

darkphoenix1247 *cries* It is extremely unlikely that I will be able to go to New York; the only time I've ever been on the coast was to Boston for a whopping 2 days to see a friend's graduation. Well we will have to figure it out. Whats wrong with coming to Boston again?

Even if I don't get accepted, I'll still probably go just for a vacation with my friend who graduates in May. I'll be in the city, but I'd imagine I can get to the upstate for a camping trip.

Well we will have to see what happens PS: Hope you get into to a college in NYC, I'm only 4 hours away, 3 hours by train. PPS : if you go to New York, bring money... lots an lots of money... I can still remember the 19 dollar hamburger.

Generally no, Niagara falls is in America as well as Canada, and you can always hop across on the peace bridge with a drivers license. I'm FAIRLY certain you don't need a passport unless you plan to stay longer than a week or so. and now a song written by a Canadian, about making such a trip
Often on the weekend I'll jump in my car.
I won't fill up the tank although I'm going far.
And if somebody asks me if I'm going to a bar.
I say I'm shopping cross the border in the U.S.A.
I do not go down there to buy my groceries
I respect our farmers and our factories
I don't believe that local means it's poor in quality
It's just our gawddamn prices are to high...

So... not really much there for my parents to let me come from a meeting with online people. xp So... Anybody interested in the Arch? We have a pretty cool science center? *cough*
