Nope. Real gun. Though technically, that photo is of an experimental model.
The countries emblem is to the right of the date if anyone didn't notice. I'll reveal the answer sometime if no one can get it. Then someone else can post something perhaps less difficult rofl

Sorry it took me so long to post. But anyways, yes that is an Ithaca 37. The bonus question was BPS.
Reason for not posting: Pissing off tree huggers > posting I love tractor pulls.

Perhaps if we run out of 'name that gun' pictures perhaps we could have pictures of a certain part on a gun and see if someone can name the whole gun.
... if you know what I mean.

It IS a Barrett, but it's not .50 caliber. It's bigger.

Double Barrel Remington.
... I really don't know the model though.
Cobalt blued steel and walnut stock.
And apparently at S-Mart it retails for $199.95.

It looks to be a Winchester rifle. I'd say it's not a Marlin because the empty shell is, or appears to be, ejected from the top, unlike a marlin rifle which ejects to the side.
The tool work from modifying it to a hogleg version appears to be decently done, although the finish on the barrel could probably be a little redone. I can't tell if the end of the stock has a metal buttplate or not, which might indicat if it was proffessionally done, or just a home-gunsmith putzing around in his basement.
I could be wrong here, but there's just about no way that that holds 5+1 .45-70/.45-90/.50-90(?) shells.
HOWEVER, I do know that the Mare's Leg used by Steve McQueens character shot a .44-40, even though he kept .45-70 ammunition in the loops on his belt.
My guess is that that rifle's a replica of a Mare's Leg.
But yes, before you ask, I just pulled that post out of my rear. rofl I hope it's right. Makes sense to me, noo?
