Kaiya smiled slightly and took the rabbit before slowly starting to stroke it's head. "I think we scared it. Poor little thing." It still shook a little bit before finally calmly down in Kaiya's arms. She then laughed alittle bit,"Now just think we're here petting a rabbit while most likely there are people only a few miles away trying to kill each other."

Arin nodded his head grimly. "Your right. Here we are enjoying ourselfs while poeple like ourselves are being killed. It may not be the same races, but there are more poeple who are mixes of races like I am." Arin said quietly as he looked up. He remembered his old life before becoming a vampire all to well. He had regreted every moment of the life until the end of it. Kaiya had been the only reason he had stopped regreting. She had given him enough of a reason to think he could do something with his life that he had. "We take it so lightly... and yet both of us can live as many lifetimes as we want, but not many others have that choice. They will never be able to see what we see between our races. At least my brother got too..."

Kaiya smiled slightly and looked to Arin,"Well that's we're working for isn't it? A chance for each and every person to at least get to see a bit of what we see at least once in their lifetimes." She then quietly set the rabbit down and watched as it hopped away.

"Yah..." Arin said quietly as he nodded. "We need to get back to the place were staying at. I know we dont have to sleep, but I feel better after sleeping regarless. I guess being part cat still has its affects." Arin added with a small smile as he headed back down the way he had come. He glanced back once to make sure Kaiya was following him before he looked back forward.

Kaiya nodded a bit and walked behind Arin. She looked around taking in everything around her. Kaiya then stopped for a second. She could sense someone nearby.

Arin stopped when Kaiya did. His ears went up immediatly as if he had heard something. He motioned back to Kaiya as he looked around. He couldnt feel that someone was there, but he knew Kaiya had tensed up slightly so that meant something was nearbye. He trust her reaction as much as his ears even though he couldn hear anything.

Kaiya turned her head in the direction of the place where they were staying then sighed slightly and looked to Arin," I'm sorry I think I'm on edge. I thought I sensed something, but I don't feel it anymore. I think I'm imagining things."

Dona was sitting out side of the town trying to find a peaceful place to just relax. the other children that have been growing up with her were always too noise when they all were at the so-called home. She walked off a little hopping she wouldn't have to go to far to find a nice quite place. She heard most nosies you would in the wilderness but it wasn't to bad. she found a nice big rock to sit on as she brushed herself off. She looked at her skirt which look like it got snagged on a branch or something. She went though her little box which happened to be a first aid kit and took out a needle. and a spool of thread she had picked up off the ground just a few days before. it didn't match colors at all but it didn't bother her. She began to sew it up and hopefully it didn't look to bad. She tied it off with a French knot and smiled as it looked not as bad as she though it would. "There we go" she spoke softly. she began to hear footsteps thinking it was one of her friends coming to look for her to come back to their shelter.

"Well if your body sensed something then I know I should at least be slightly worried." Arin said as he looked to Kaiya. His expression was a puzzled one. "For safetly Im going to go do another check around. If you want to follow me then at least I know were your at." He said with a small smile before heading off into the trees. He didnt know if Kaiya would want to follow him, but he wasnt going too fast for her to find him easly enough. Arin hadnt been walking long before he heard a light voice. He stopped so suddenly it was almost like he had turned into a statue. His ears picked up the voice from only a short distance away. He paused for a moment as he slowly pulled out a dagger. He had learned the hard way that it was better to be safe than sorry. He slowly crept forward using the trees as cover. It wasnt long until he saw a neko. He noticed she was young, really young to be out on her own in the forest. Arin looked back almost as if he was waiting for Kaiya to catch up. If she was following him he wanted her opinion of what they should do. He knew it was fine for him to go out and speak to her, but he was a bit worried as to why she was alone.

Dona noticed that the foot steps were rather soft. most of the people she knew where not so light on there feet. She knew this was someone she didn't know. Dona didn't really worry about it. may be they would just pass by and leave her alone nothing to worry about. she told herself that in her mind as she put away the needle and thread and closed up her box. She looked around noticing the footsteps had stopped. She looked around and saw a pair of eye looking at her she wanted to say something but she was frozen. she flatten her ears wondering who was there. Dona stayed silent wondering what to do next.

Kaiya had turned to a hawk following Arin overhead she noticed the little neko girl and smiled slightly before landing in between Arin and the girl. "Hello little one why are you out here all alone?" She managed to keep her fangs hidden as she talked.

" um uh..." she was really overwhelmed by what was all going on at the moment. "I was just trying to find someplace quite. " she manged too speak becoming a little more comfortable. he ears still flattened a little frightened like she did something wrong. She didn't remember doing anything bad. "is... that all???" she asked a bit wanting to go back to where she lived.

Arin smiled slightly as Kaiya landed in between them. He was used to her jumping to talk to poeple unlike him. Arin chuckled as he walked next to Kaiya. His own ears seemed to relax on his head as he looked down at her. "Well you seem to have found someplace were theres not many poeple so I guess quiet is a good way to say it." As Arin spoke he also tried to keep his fangs hidden, but for him it wasnt really like it mattered. He never quiet had gotten as good at it as Kaiya. "You dont have to worry. We not here to hurt you or anything. I just thought it was strange to see someone so young out here on their own." Arin's ears flicked slightly as he turned his head. He raised an eyebrow slightly as he stared off into the trees. 'Strange... I cant hear any noises... thats not a good sign.' He thought as he looked back to the young neko.

A young man was in peril. He dashed through the hallways, his body sore from beatings, and his heart lept when he came upon the door. The vampire had promised him he could leave unharmed if he could make it to the door.
A young man had thought to avenge his sister's death by attacking the beast that had killed her. He made it almost all the way to the monster's crypt.
Now he was running for his life, as a slender man followed him lesuirly, only his laughter keeping pace with the boy. He reached out to grasp the handle and throw the door open when a hand grabbed his own.
"Oh, and you were so close," Mir cooed. "Just not close enough."
Mir yanked the boy's head back by he hair and sank his fangs into the soft warm flesh. Lapping with a wild fervor, Mir sucked every bit of blood he could from the youth's body then drew back and panted--more out of habit than of a need for air.
"Another pest dealt with," he sighed, "when will one of these morsels give me a good chase?"
He dumped the body outside, and immediately a pack of wolves was on it, for they were used to recieving his spoils.

"Yeah just wanted to make sure you were't lost or anything. Do you live nearby?" Kaiya smiled slightly trying not to frighten her. She kept her distance from her.
