She stopped glaring again. Good, he didn't ask about her other half. At least she didn't have to say she was anything to do with a leopard. "I've met a few cheetahs." She said to him. She wasn't sure what else to say about them really.
"I don't think I could stand a pride full of, what'd you call it? Rhythm? " She told him. It'd just give her a huge headache just listening to noise all day long. As well as they could end up being mean to her, since she never really had the best attitude towards anyone. At least not at first.

"Rhythm is wonderful!" Kani replied. It seemed music really brought him out of his shell. Besides, he'd been sitting here a while and she'd made no move to attack him. He might as well try and spread the word.
"There's not always drums being beaten or instruments played. The Nchi'mahadhi spend a great deal of their time just listening to the sounds of nature..." He paused and turned an ear. "Like that bird singing in that tree somewhere. We're taught not to just hear a bird as background noise, but listen to it. Truly listen. Birds have mastery over music so they are wonderful to listen to. But they're not all. Even the grass has music when it sways in the breeze."
He curled his tail around him. "If I ever find my inspiration I'll come and find you and play you something." He replied happily. "And you're always welcome to visit. We have cheetahs in our lands as well as lions."

She was hesitant to answer back to his excitement. She didn't know weather she should crush them, or just let him be happy for a moment or two. She really saw nothing big in listening to annoying birds churp. They always intrupted his sleep. Though some did taste good, but she was sure he'd not like that answer at all. "no leopards, are there?" She found herself asking without even realizing it.
Leopards..... She'd never go to a place with them. Though, she was sure his answer would be a yes there was. "Maybe one day, kid. If you find me, I'll listen to your noisey object." She told him. Though she knew this meeting would most likely be their last as well. She was always moving, there was no saying that he'd ever see her again. With that, it made her feel a bit happy that she'd not get a headache from such.... things.

"Um..." He paused. "I don't think so. I've never heard of a leopard before. What do they look like?" He lifted his ears. "Most of us are lions, with the exception of a cheetah or two. Though...if a leopard did try to join they'd probably be allowed because...well...we're open to anyone who has a good heart."
He smiled. "Which is pretty much everyone, I think."
His smile grew wider. "Really? You'll listen? Okay, that's a deal. And I promise you'll enjoy it."

She sighed with relief. "Well, then there wouldn't be any leopards anyways." She said arrogantly. "All leopards have no good within their heart." She told the young male. "They look something like me, only fatter." She tried to explain what they look like. "Maybe taller." She added. "Evil creatures, they care nothing about anyone but themselves."
"You are arrogant to think that everyone has good in their heart."
"Shouldn't promise, you never know when you might break them." She told him a bit of wise truth. She wasn't to say anything else, cause she knew she'd not enjoy it even if he had found her.

If he had known then that he had leopard in him, maybe he would have been offended. But as he spoke to this girl, unaware that he too was a halfling child, he took in her words with innocence. If she said they were bad creatures then he had no other view on them. He'd make sure never to run into a leopard if he could help it.
"Everyone I have met has had good in their hearts. Maybe it's true and that some creatures are evil...but, I think every bad person has one good aspect...even if they don't ever show it."
He stood and backed up, slinging the drum across a shoulder so that it wouldn't interfere with his walking. "Well I promise to play to my best abilities and hope you will like it."
He took one more glance at her, at her brilliant eyes set in that stern face. But he saw now that she was a good cat with a good heart. He was glad they had met.
"Thank you for talking with me, Jishin. I best be on my way. Take care of yourself, okay?"

She wanted to say more to his belief of good in everyone, but couldn't really do so. Perhaps he was right, perhaps leopards just put on a tough front like she. But that couldn't be it. Her mother would have stayed, and that male wouldn't have attacked her for no reason, other then she wouldn't breed with him. Zebra's would fly the moment that Jishin found a leopard who actually wasn't rude at all.
She nodded to him as he decided he was leaving. "Take care, and watch yourself." She told him more because she was cautious about everything then her actually caring. He was a lion after all, she'd rather him be save, then any other type of creature upon this world. Perhaps, he was right, and they would meet again. But for now, they would go their separate ways. Or rather he'd leave, and she'd go back to her nap.

He gave her one final smile and with that he turned his head back in the direction he had been facing and set off again. He was afraid of what lay out there, but then, he'd always been the timid sort.
At least now he'd met Jishin he knew that not every rogue was out to get him.
Maybe meeting others would invoke his muse.
Maybe Jishin had set his quest into motion. Either way, he wouldn't give up easily and maybe one day he'd get a chance to play Jishin his song.
(( Thank you for the RP <3 Jishin is awesome! Maybe we can have another RP between them at some point. ))
