Entry! Name: Cricket2008 Pet Trying For: 2 Response: Prompt 2
Sitting at the edge of the clearing, Kita watched the butterflies. Usually she enjoyed chasing them, but today they didn’t interest her. She wanted something new to do. Lazily, her tufted tail flicked back and forth. Her striped purple fur rippled in the summer breeze. She fluffed her tiny blue wings then settled them back into place.
Something moved in the underbrush across the small glade. Kita’s green eyes narrowed, her ears twitched to catch any sight or sound of the intruder. A young girl walked out from under the trees and over to the single young sapling in the grassy clearing. It’s one of those humans, Kita thought. She’d heard stories about them. Some good, some bad. She wasn’t sure which ones were true. She crouched down, flattening herself to the ground. Kita lay very still, poised for flight, should the human see her.
Kita relaxed a bit when the human child busied herself with taking things out of the basket she carried. She spread out a blanket under the tree, then sat down on it. Kita watched as the child started unwrapping what she’d taken out of the basket. New smells drifted to Kita’s pink little nose. She almost bounded out of her hiding spot to go investigate. Kita quivered with curiosity, but stayed where she was. She watched the child begin to eat what she’d unwrapped, then pick up a book and start to read.
Kita watched. The child sat unaware, reading her book. After a while, the book was put aside and the child lay down on the blanket. Kita wondered what would happen next. She watched and waited. After a bit, the child continued to lie on the blanket. Kita could still smell something interesting and she wanted to know what it was. She flattened her little purple body to the ground and crept a few steps towards the child. Nothing moved. She crept a little further, leaving her shady hiding place behind. Slowly Kita slinked through the grass. Reaching the edge of the blanket, she sniffed the strange smells it harbored. She crept onto the blanket, keeping the basket between her and the prone child. Peering around the basket, she spotted the source of the smell that made her nose twitch. Sitting on the paper that it had been wrapped in was the other half of the child’s sandwich. To get to it, Kita would have to move within the reach of the child. This could be dangerous, Kita thought. If any of those bad stories she’d heard were true, she could be in big trouble if she were caught. Taking a deep breath, she crept closer until the next step would take her past the basket. She paused. No turning back now, she thought. She slowly crept closer, her muscles tensed, ready to flee at any sign of movement. Finally, she thought. Her nose was close enough to touch the wonderful smelling morsel. A few more inches and she gently took the sandwich in her teeth. She paused to see if she’d been noticed, then she tore off for the woods as fast as her little furry legs could carry her.
Reaching the trees, she dove under the first bush she came to. She glanced back to see if she’d been followed, the sandwich hanging haphazardly in her jaws. Nothing stirred on the blanket. Kita’s little heart pounded with the thrill of danger narrowly escaped. Wow, she thought to herself, that was fun! I like this new game. Kita took her well-earned prize and trotted happily into the woods.

Entry! Name: Azael_Rose Pet Trying For: #2 Response: Prompt 3
The garden was vibrant with life. The storm had passed leaving the ground damp and plants well fed. Chazana bounded across the open grass, her purple fur a bold statement on the lush green backdrop. She skidded to a halt at the edge of the small pond.
Lily pads drifted on its surface. She pushed one with her paw curiously. It sloshed in the cold water and Chazana quickly back-pedaled before her paw got any wetter. She landed with a thunp right on her rump. With a quick glance around to be sure no one had seen her, she noticed a large rock near the reeds at the edge of the pond.
Moving closer to the supposed rock she realized it wasn't a rock. It was a sleeping creature. But what could it be? The little kitten leaned in closer and gave it a sniff. It didn't move. Then she placed a tiny paw on its back. The back was covered in hard skin and was the color of dark mud.
Chazana quickly skitted away thinking the thing would wake but it hadn't even moved. Slightly disappointed she thought about walking away and continuing her exploration of the garden but something bugged her. The fact that she couldn't wake up the animal bugged her.
In a final attempt to wake it up she readied herself to pounce. Her back paws dug into the soft mud and her belly rubbed the wet earth. Her ears pricked up and then she lept! In one bound she was on top of the thing's back, paws in all, and yet the animal did not budge.
Chazana jumped back onto the ground. Her back was turned and she did not notice the animal begin to move. The little kitten jumped when it moved by her but the animal just kept walking towards the pond's edge without so much as a glance in her direction. Then it slid into the water and disappeared under the surface leaving Chazana confuzled. ^-^

Entry! Name: Sadi Sidhe Pet Trying For: 3 Response: ~*~ Prompt 4 ~*~ It's a stormy afternoon and along the edge of the garden in a window you see a comfortable scene, how do you react? What will you do?
He wasn't sure what had brought him to the large stone house at the edge of the garden. Perhaps it was the idea of shelter from the punishing winds that even now tossed his small form about as he tried to fly to the lee of the large stone structure. Perhaps it was the music, full of shrieks and wails and ominous howls. Perhaps it was the light, the laughter, the delicious smells that radiated from the house. Perhaps it was the need, even for a creature such as he, not to be alone on this of all nights. When the veil between the worlds was at it's thinnest and things better not considered walked the night. All Hollows Eve. He looked in the window, to where the humans were having a party. There where Whimsicals there too, mingling freely though they tended to gather around their chosen human or the food tables. He landed on a sheltered windowsill to observe, and to borrow a bit of their cheer and safety. Here the wind did not reach him, though it was still bitterly cold, and his small form shuddered, a small mewl escaping him. He curled up to conserve his body heat and watched the movement of the fantastically costumed humans within. He saw a unicorn dancing with a dragon, watched a wolf court a reluctant cop, and smiled as a rowdy game of tag broke out amongst Whimsicals of all types, bedecked in ribbons, bows, hats, and other bits of decoration. Lulled by the scene, and despite the cold, he fell into a light doze. He awoke suddenly to a peal of thunder that set his heart racing. Lightning flashed, illuminating a hideous face leering at him from the other side of the now-dark window. He back-peddled, almost falling backwards over the edge of the windowsill. He would have taken flight, but even terrified he would not brave the pounding rain and unforgiving winds that his little nook sheltered him from. He trembled, fluffed to his fullest and growling from the farthest corner of the ledge from the monster. He watched as it opened the window with a loud creak that could just barely be heard over the howling of the storm and the pounding of his heart. The thing reached for him, the drew it's hand back sharply as four long, red lines appeared in it. The monster... seemed to be swearing? He wasn't sure over the roar of the wind, but he could have sworn the creature was trying to talk to him! Suddenly, it reached up, grabbing it's hair... revealing that it had been a mask, part of a Halloween costume. Beneath were the plain but friendly features of a young man. A currently very frustrated young man, by the sounds of it. Without the muffling effect of the mask, he could hear the human alternating between cursing and trying to entice him closer. Tentatively, for the little Whimsey had not survived by being overly trusting, he moved forwards. Inside the house, he knew, was warmth and food and safety. He had seem how happy the other Whimseys were. But it was also a whole new world, with new rules and expectations. As the clock struck midnight on this special night, he crossed the barrier between the worlds where it was at it's thinnest, invited by a monster who wasn't to a world he could barely have dreamed of.

Entry! Name: ChibiNature Pet Trying For: 2 Response: ~*~ Prompt 1 ~*~ You've made it into the garden, and unlike everywhere else you've fallen asleep. When you wake up there is a small sleeping creature on you. How do you interact? How does the whimsy react?
Okay..... There was definitely something on me.... I could feel it moving!
The first thing that I had noticed when I slowly regained consiousness was the pressure on my lower abdomain and thighs. Next to come was the warmth that the pressure undoubtably released. It would've been kind of nice if I had known what exactly was laying on me!
Slowly, so very slowly, my eyes allowed themselves to open and look around, and at first, I was deeply perplexed. Was I still dreaming?! I was sitting in an almost-prone position, my back leaning on a tree. Believable. I was sitting in most beautiful garden that the world had ever been blessed with. Doubtable. And the thing causing the warmth in my lap was a brightly-colored winged cat. Does not compute.
When the thing yawned and stretched in my lap, I stiffened like a board. 'Think tree, think tree, think' tree!' my brain screamed at me. The creature opened its eyes, and I sucked in a quick breath. It's eyes were GREEN! And they were intellegent. It reached up it paw at my hand, and out of the years of messing with my Mom's cat, reached down to tickle under the kit's chin.
It's eye closed in bliss, and I allowed myself to smile a bit. Maybe it's wings were fake and it's fur was tattooed? That plan failed when I let my fingers wonder down to in-between said appendages, and the cat started to purr. It rolled over on to it's back when my fingers turned into ticklers.
“You’re a cute little thing, aren’t you?”, I cooed as the Cat-Thingy playfully batted at my tickling fingers.
“Well, I’ve been told that I’m a fiery spirit, but of course, you already found that out!” said the cat. Okkkkkaaaayyy, then. On a lovely side note, 'I think my Brain has now left me for the Bahamas.' was about the most accurate thought that was going through my head at the time.
“You can talk?”, I asked in disbelief, my voice choking in my throat. Hey! I'm replying to a talking cat with wings! You'd probably do the same thing. That, or scream. I'm quite surpised that I haven't already.....
“Well, yes.”, said the kitten, scratching it's purple ear. It's emerald eyes met mine, glinting in the light.
“You can, can’t you?”
“Yes, I can, but animals aren’t supposed to talk!”, I exclaimed, instantly thinking myself foolish.
“Who says animals aren’t supposed to talk? Don’t we have as much a right to express our feeling as you?”, asked the cat no longer scratching it's ear.
“Well yes, but-”, I started to say but was cut off by the rude little bug- er, I mean, the sweet little kitten.
“Then there is no question about it.”, said the cat, closing it's deep green eyes to enjoy the sunlight.
I huffed a sigh, giving the smart thing in my lap a small resentful glare for out-smarting me. ((Which, sadly to say, isn't much of an accomplishment.)). Then I quirked my head to the side, raising an eyebrow at a thought.
"Hey! Cat!", I said, nudging it gently with the backside of my hand. It opened it's eye and blerrily looked up at me. "What?!"
There was enough vemon in that particular word to make me shudder. "Geeze! Cool it, 'kay? I just wanted to know if you had a name. Mine's ChibiNature, by the way. Most people call me Nature, though.", I stated as though I was trying to sell it something.
That seemed to off-set it. It blinked, and looked at me curiously. I got off my lap, stretching as it did so. Oh! Excuse me! As she did. "What..... What's a name, Nature?", she questioned, for once looking as innocent as she sholud be!
"A name is....... who you are. It allows people to recognize you, and reflects who you are.", I said, not totally sure myself on the meaning of a name. The kit looked sheepish. "Can.... Can give me a name, Nature? I'll come and stay with you.....", she asked, looking too cute to bare.
"Okay...... Hrrrmmmm....", I said, looking around for something to use as inspiration. The garden was pretty...... so serene. I reminded me of something I'd heard one of my friends talk about, a story of some kind, involving a beautiful garden. My eyes widened, and I smiled at the kit.
"Eden. That's your name. My little Eden...."
((Forgive me, I saw an Rp Raffle from my Friend's Signature, and I couldn't resist. I'm sorry if the Entry is a bit..... off.))

Entry! Name: Sadi Sidhe Pet Trying For: 4 Response: ~*~ Prompt 3 ~*~ Goodness gracious! There's a thing in your garden. A sleeping thing. Something you've never encountered here in the garden before. What do you do? How do you react? What happens if it wakes up?
The small Daemon kitten bounded through the snow, sending great plumes of it into the air. She was fully enjoying the new-fallen snow that had suddenly appeared overnight, like nothing she had ever seen before. At first, she had been wary of the cold, wet stuff, but now she thought it was just about the best thing ever. At the top of a bounding arc, she caught sight of something glittering in the snow and, shaking the clinging dampness from her wings, fluttered over to investigate. Upon reaching the spot, she found some large, colorful creature with odd many-colored and many-textured fur that looked almost not to be a part of it. It's skin had what, in just about any creature, was an unhealthy bluish tinge. The bit of glitter had been from some odd, shiny purple stones attached to the creature's head. She wondered if it had been hit by the stones, and that was why it was laying in the snow. They certainly were unlike any rocks she had ever seen before. Though unconscious, the thing seemed to still be alive. It's chest rose and fell fitfully, and every so often a leg or arm would twitch. She poked it with a paw, then her nose. When it groaned and moved it's arm towards her, she took flight, hovering out of it's reach. When no further movement was forthcoming, she grew concerned. Whatever it was, it was dying. It would not last the rest of the day as it was. She circled it, finding what looked like a warm, rolled up skin attached to an odd hump next to the creature. With claws and teeth she freed it, only tearing it in a few placed. It was heavier than she expected, and she had trouble dragging it over the creature's large body. She dug the snow away from it's face, and curled up with it under the blanket, adding her small warmth. After a while it began to warm up under the blanket, and she feel in to deep sleep. She awoke to find the creature sitting up and looking at her. It had the odd skin wrapped around itself, and a smaller one now kept her surprisingly warm. She lept up, hissing, only to tangle herself in the odd covering. The creature made an odd sound that she could have sworn meant amusement as it showed it's teeth in a non-threatening kind of way. She noticed, once the shock faded, that it's color was still poor, and it was shivering so had she could hear it's teeth rattle. Then it did something completely unexpected. "Ah, little one. If only ye could show me the way out o' this blasted overgrown park, I might survive. I don't know how ye found me, nor why ye decided te aid me, but I'm afraid ye've only prolonged m'end." She hissed, puffing up to nearly twice her size, though she was still small enough to fit in the creature's hand. "How do you talk? No other creatures talk." Unless... she had herd rumors of odd creatures called humans who, when a special bond was formed, could communicate freely with their bonded Whimseys. She had always discredited it as stories and fairy tales, but perhaps there was some truth to it after all. "Ye can speak!" Though startled, the creature - human - did not move from it's spot of warmth. "Be I already dead then? Tis not how I pictured the hereafter. Or p'raps I be hallucinatin'. Mayhap I just think I be awake, and warm, and havin' a chat with the durndest little bit o' fluff I ever did see." "I am not a 'bit o' fluff,' nor am I a figment of your addled imagination." she huffed. "Well, pardon me. If you be true, and I be sane, then there is hope for me. Can ye show me the way out o' this here forest? Ye've warmed me up a bit, but I be loster 'n a goose flying north for the winter, and if I can't find my way out soon I'll be right back the way ye found me;" Hearing the fear in the human's voice, she forgave it. "I can show you the way out. It's not too far, I think you can make it before night even. This way!" Excited now, she leapt into the air, hovering in front of him. When he stood, slowly and stiffly, she darted forward a few feet, showing him the way to the path.
As the light dimmed and night approached, they passed through the final bit of forest. She had never actually come out this far, or she would have known humans were more than bedtime stories. There was a house here, large and made of stone, and she could see people moving about inside it. She balked at the edge of the forest, afraid to leave her familiar home. The human got a few steps before, noticing her absence, he turned around. "Ye're not comin'? Ye saved me! I know these people, they be good friends, they'll want to thank ye, too." Suddenly speechless, she shook her head. "Well, I won't force ye. I owe ye everything. Here." He took the purple stones from his head and attached them next to her ear. "To remember me by. When it's a wee bit warmer, I'll come find ye. Then I can thank ye proper. Until then." And with a last pat to her head, he turned and limped towards the stone house, calling out in his rough voice to the people within. With crys of joy, they burst forth to meet him, hugging him and herding him towards the warm hearth and a healing cup of tea. As the kitten watched, he turned once, looking right at her, and smiled before being ushered inside. When the weather turned, she would be waiting.

Entry! Name: Ramenli Pet Trying For: 1 Response: #1 (yet again using George as the name) ((and there are female George's...read Nancy Drew)) >:
Ramen rubbed her eyes sleepily and began yawning, rather surprised she'd actually taken a nap. She started to sit up when she heard a low growling from the general vicinity of her torso. She bothered to open her eyes, squinting at the bright light assaulting her eyes. A light gray whimsies stared at her, wings flared to keep her balance, two red feathers fluttering by her ear.
"Whoops, sorry dear didn't mean to scare you." Ramen said cheerfully, moving a her hand to stoke the young pup with a fingertip. "You're a cute little darling aren't you?"
George stared at the human who had disturbed her peaceful nap. A finger came towards her as it spoke with a sicky sweet voice, a voice that George hated. She was not a cute little darling, she wasn't a dear either. And she was getting extremely tired of people thinking so. And this was a perfect person to show this two. She pulled her lips back in a snarl and sprang at the incoming finger, biting down on it as hard as she possibly could.
Ramen hissed as the little brat latched onto her finger. Those little teeth HURT. She resisted the urge to shake her hand, knowing she could hurt the small creature. Instead with her other hand she carefully wrapped her hand around its body, much as one would do with a perch to get if off of a fishing hook. "Hold on just a second there," she said sternly. "Just what do you think you are doing? If you don't stop it right now I'm going to go dunk you in that bird bath, don't think I won't."
Grudgingly George let go, snarling the whole time. "Don't just think I"m some pretty little darling because I'm a celeskynd, human.
Ramen snorted, she usually attracted these types of characters. "And don't just expect that I'm a pushover human that'll let you get away with anything. That's not how things work missy," a wicked little grin crossed her face, "I'm going to hold you down and let Sithmaith talk to you."

Entry! Name: Kiwi Squirt Bottle Pet Trying For: 1 Response:
Rain. Wet. Damp earth. It serves to remind her of... Something. A lost something, forever gone in the anals of her conscious but still lurking at the edges just out of recall. Making her way as unclumsily as possible through grass which tickled her underbelly in passing, Sidonie tried hard to keep her white coat white, but was failing miserably. Mud and bits of grass had already stained the fur of her feet, the murky brown and green serving to help blend her in with nature.
The torrent of sky-water had relented enough that the young whimsie had gathered enough edges of her frayed courage to venture out from the knocked over watering can she'd been hiding under to try and seek safer refuge elsewhere. Everytime the lightning crackled above, the metal can started to fair quiver with the electrical build up. The result had made her fur stand on end.
Having emerged from the watering aperatus, Sidonie had tracked forward, mud squelching up between the pads of her feet as the indentions made by her passing quickly filled with water seeping up from the ground. Ducking her head, the young Whimsie paused to stare in wonderment at the phenomenon, squeaking as a loud thunder clap broke her revire. If it was that close, that loud, surely it'd be on top of her soon!
Had the watering can been sturdier, and mayhaps not as riddled with holes as it had been, Sidonie's wings and undercoat wouldn't be soaked and bedraggled and flight up higher, where she could stop shivering, would have been more plausible. Maybe. Though had the watering can not been so hole-y, then it wouldn't have been forgotten in the garden for her to shelter under at all. Thank goodness for small miricles, was her only thought as with another clap of thunder to send her heart leaping towards her mouth for escape, her feet took enough sense of their own to run away, towards shelter.
Even now as she plodded forward, the rain began again in ernest. What had let up to a light drizzle had become a rain full of hardness and anger, each water dropplet like a bullet. It wouldn't've been so bad, she mused, if I wasn't so cursedly cold. Another shiver rippled over her body, eking out a brief bout of heat in the action of her muscles. To be fair, the water served more purpose than making her miserable; the mud that had begun to cake into her fur was being loosened and washed away.
A spot of light appeared in the dark gloom, and light usually meant warmth, and driness. Weary with her brief travels, from the watering can to the light, Sidonie's feet immediatly carried her towards it in hope. Nearing a window sat just behind an unsturdy looking bird bath, Sidonie shook herself long enough to clear enough water from her wings to use them to leap a little higher. Landing on the birdbath with clumsiness no one was around to see, she blinked to get used to the light as well as to clear the raindrops from her lashes.
Looking inside, the whimsie spied a young woman holding a glass tube-like apperatus, filled with chocolate milk, pungent smoke eminating from it as she sat atop a rug near the hearthside. If she's not careful said Sidonie to herself, she's going to burn the cocoa! The smile of the face of the human was one of happiness, though, and gave the little one pause.
Fire... is warm. And will dry me. Is not wet. Leaning closer, Sidonie paid no attention to the wobbling of the birdbath. I want... But the thought was never finished as she sent the bath toppling over. The crash was loud enough to bring a shout from the inside and it was then that she paused to wonder in her folly, hiding under the broken pieces of ceramic. What have I done?

Entry! Name: Naysha Aysha Pet Trying For: # 1 Response: ((this is to prompt one and sorry in advance did this half asleep XD))
The garden was so beautiful and the day so warm, I just couldn't resist a rest within the shade of an old tree that grew strong there. The savory scent of the earth reached my nose first, but the subtle sweetness of the flowers is what truly lulled me to sleep.
After what only seemed like moments, but was sure to be hours I awoke. I took a deep breath and felt a weight on me that had not been there before. Blinking the sleep from my eyes I twisted to see the source of my irritation. A white lump, wait not a lump it's it's, well I didn't know what it was at the time, but I knew I wanted it off of me.
A scream came from my mouth quite louder then I had meant for it to be. The little white lump uncurled and let out a strange scream of it's own. It quickly leaped away from me and I followed suit in the opposite direction.
I hide behind a tree what a fool I must look like. Huge creature like myself hiding from something so small, but what was it? A cat? Cat's don't have wings! I felt an urge start to nag I me, I wanted to see it again.
Peeking slowly around the corner I scanned the area for the little white lump. With a bit of a chuckle, I realized that it was trying to hide from me, but let's just say...it was failing horridly. It at least seemed to think like a cat. "I can't see you, You can't see me." seemed to be this little one's idea of good advice. It's butt was stuck in the air while the rest of it's body was wedged between some large tree roots.
"Aw you must just be a little guy, what ever you are...."
Cautiously I ventured forwards hoping not to alert the little one. With a swift moment I scooped the furry bundle into my arms. It squealed and cried and as I waited for it's mother to maul me I felt myself falling for him. After no parent came I felt worried yet excited at the same time.
It took awhile longer, but after a scratch on the belly and couple hundred hugs later I held the little one in my arms while it slept.
"I was kinda feeling lonely too, but together we can be a family,...I'll call you Little Star or Star for short! I bet you'll like that. Now let's get home before it rains."
That night the house seemed a little less empty, and the storms that once scared me seemed like nothing now that I felt like I had someone to care for. That night we curled to sleep together again, but this time I welcomed the extra weight and hoped to have a better morning with now screams.
((Like I said half asleep sorry XD))

Entry! Name: KagomeHigurashi08 (Second Choice) Pet Trying For: 4 (Storm) Response: Prompt 4
KagomeHigurashi08 – Storm – Female - Argumentative
~*~ Prompt 4 ~*~
It's a stormy afternoon and along the edge of the garden in a window you see a comfortable scene, how do you react? What will you do?
Storm was huddled under a bush in the garden, doing her best to stay dry in the summer’s afternoon thunderstorm. The rain was pouring down hard and the bush offered her little protection from the elements. She looked around through the rain, to see if she could find a drying place to rest her head while she waited out the storm. She looked around but to no avail. The wind made it to where no place was safe for a small kitten to find comfort and stay dry.
The kitten made on last look around then has to squint through the rain as she saw a light. She crawled closer, wondering what it was but it was too far to see. Storm knew the only was to find out was to venture out of the bush and go towards the light, but that meant leaving the little comfort she had and walking out into the downpour. The kitten sighed and stood. She made a run for the light but stopped dead in her tracks about three feet away from a cottage house. She forced herself to be brave and jumped on the window sill. Inside was a warm fire burning with a girl sitting in an arm chair nearby.
Storm wanted in the house but was too afraid to enter the house now that she knew it was occupated. She was just about to leave when the girl in the cottage stood and turned around, looking straight out the window, spotting Storm on the window. Storm froze in fear and didn’t notice that the girl had exited the cottage and went around the house until Storn felt herself picked up and wrapped in a towl. She was so cold and the covering felt so good that Storm did not fight the girl as she brought Storm insides and dried the kitten off and placed blankets by the fire for Storm to lay on.
Storm finally looked at the girl and saw how drenched she was from venturing outside in the rain as the girl went into another room to change. The girl then went into the kitchen where she returned with a bowl of warm milk which she laid before Storm before going back to sit in the easy chair. Storm watched as the girl picked up a book and started to read before starting to lap at the milk.
As Storm finished the milk, she began to wonder about the girl who had come to her aid. The girl had given Storm the space she needed while at the same time taking care that Storm was warm, fed, and comfortable. Storm wondered what kind of person this girl must be but knew that the girl was good at heart and decided to accept the girl. Storm climbed up onto the chair and squeezed in between the girl and the book. The girl laughed and began to read the book out loud for Storm to hear.
Later that night, while the girl was making dinner, Storm hopped unto the table and announced, “Hi, my name is Storm, can I stay with you?” she asked taking a big risk in trust. The girl just smiled, “Hi there Storm, my name is Kazuyo. And of course you can stay with me. This is actually just a place I am renting. But you can return with me to my home in France if you want. I actually have another deamonkynd at home who I think you would get along with. His name is Daisu. But I have other whimsicals too who would just adore you as well. That is if you do not mind travelling back to France with me.” Kazuyo explained.
Storm was surprised that the girl knew about whimsicals but was glad and agreed to go to France with Kazuyo. She knew that the girl would be nice and kind to her and knew that she had picked a good human to place her trust in. She was sure that as long as she stuck with Kazuyo, she would have many good times and make new friends, maybe even find a person, like this Daisu, to fill her passion of arguing. Storm hopes so as she poutingly though secretly lovinging accept Kazuyo as her new owner.

I groaned as heavy sunlight slipped between the pages of the book I had perched precariously on my nose. Groggily, i touched the spine and yanked it off my eyes, blinking in the much-too-bright-light.
I lifted my head of the ground and checked my watch- then remembered I didn't own a watch since mine had broken in gym this morning - and plunked my head back down.
My brain doesn't work after I wake up - it takes a few minutes...hours... before I can put two and two together.
I heard a high pitched yawn and some cat made happy-feet on my stomach, stretching and purring. I smiled ever so slightly and ran my hand through Wash's smooth fur and down to his big, bushy tail.....
Eh? I thought. Since when was he fluffy?
I lifted my head and glanced at my tummy. A little white kitty was staring back at me, smiling.
I stared at the kitty, transfixed in it's big brown eyes, and it stared right on back. After about five minutes, my brain began to switch into gear, and I had a shocking revelation: This isn't my cat!
I squealed and rolled over, sending the kitty yowling onto the floor.
It hissed at me for a moment, back arched, hairs standing on end, and then stopped as suddenly as it had begun. It's little white head cocked. It was staring at my hair clip.
I hissed at it - hopping to discourage it in it's own language (and failing miserably. Apparently, I don't speak cat) - as it trotted nearer. It yowled and swiped a paw at my head.
All I could think was Rabies, rabies, rabies - ooh! Pretty! when I saw the little white wings fluttering hard.
The kitten pawed at me again (this time chomping down on the feathers dangling from my clip) and jumped into my lap, completely oblivious to my flabbergasted babbling. It meowed at me, tilted it's head, and nudged it's muzzle into my neck (which tickled and sent me into a fit of uncontrollable laughter. And I had gotten so far in striking fear into the cuddly eyes of my adversary. Darn you genetics!)
I stroked it's flat head and held it up (I decided that she was a girl, not only from this gender check but her love of shiny, dangly hair pieces). She purred and rolled over as I placed her back in my lap.
I removed my hair pin - silver and red, with dangling feathers - and clipped it into place below her ear. "There you go love," I said, patting her head.
"Thank you," she replied, glancing at her reflection in the pond.
Hehe, talking cat, I thought in denial, feeling the ground slip out from under my feet.
She shook her little head as she preened the feathers on the clip. "I'm a whimsical, actually," she corrected.
Thus commenced my second nap for the day.

Entry! Name: KagomeHigurashi08 (Third Choice) Pet Trying For: 1 (Angel) Response: Prompt 2
KagomeHigurashi08 – Angel – Female - Angelic
~*~ Prompt 2 ~*~
You're small and alone. While you're used to this it's getting a bit boring. What do you do to spice up your life? How do you make it more exciting? How do you react when something scares you?
Angel was was playing alone in one area of the garden but was quickly getting bored with playing chase when the only person to chase was yourself. She wanted something more exciting to do than chase her pretty white tail but there was no one to play with. Angel sighed and looked around for something more intertaining to do. As she was looking around she noticed someone had left a bright rainbow colored ball laying in the garden. Angel happily began to bat around the ball with her paws.
She tossed up the ball with her tail and was about to jump and headbutt it when a hand out of no where grabs the ball in midair. Angel looked up startled to see a human girl holding the ball. The girl was so much larger than Angel but Angel could tell she was small for a human. Angel was scared because she didn’t know how to react to this towering figure above her. Angel decides to try and make the best of the situation she can and jumps for the ball trying to engage the girl in playing ball with her.
The girl smiles and tosses the ball for Angel to fetch and laughs as Angel promptly brings the ball back to her to throw again as the red feathers flap in the wind. This goes on for a few hours and the girl finally says, “That was fun. I’m Kazuyo, by the way.” Telling the white puppy a little about herself to the point where Angel is completely comfortable with Kazuyo and starts talking to her. “My name is Angel. Will you come play again with me?” she asked in a hopeful voice.
Kazuyo looks at Angel then asks, “You are all alone here?” Angel nodded. “Yeah, I am always playing here alone. It gets really boring and there is no one to play with or hang out with. Or even talk to.” she added as she stretched and lay down in the grass beside where Kazuyo was sitting.
Kazuyo smiled, “Well, you could come home with me. I have this sidhekynd named Yuri, who loves to play and she would love to have another playmate. But I live in France and it takes a while to get there. It is a long ways from here and you would have to leave the garden.” Kazuyo explained. Angel looked at her excitedly. “You mean I could really come home with you!?” and as Kazuyo nodded Angel jumped in the air and flew around in happy little circles. “Thank you, thank you, thank you!” she said excitedly and Kazuyo was happy to welcome a new whimsical into her home and family.

Entry! Name: Geyser39 Pet Trying For: 4 Response:
Rain fell from the sky like silver lances, penetrating the thin blue and black fur of the kitten. She gave a small whimper and tried to curl up tighter underneath the manzanita bush whose branches opened up to the rain. It wasn't a very good shelter, but then, there was little shelter in the garden to hide from the rain; a few trees was all, and large patches of mud lay between them. The last thing the kitten wanted to do was go through the deep mud, in which she might get stuck.
A distant sound brought her head up and caused her to twitch her ears. She scanned the garden and saw a square of light in a building she hadn't noticed before, vines climbing up the side to make it seem like another plant. Curious, she got up and made her way towards it, careful to avoid the muddy patches. What is that? she wondered. And what was that sound I heard? She gave a short yelp as she put one paw into the mud. Swiftly, she pulled it out and resolved to pay more attention to where she placed her paws.
The rain had not yet let up by the time she had reached the building. Several feet above her head--a little high for her to jump--a window cast gold light into the silver darkness of the afternoon. She gave a short jump and climbed the vines to a narrow windowsill and peered in.
On the other side of the glass, a human and a couple of other whimsies sat before a fire. The human was sitting on a couch playing a recorder while another cat and a dog played gently. The crackling fire seemed to warm the room and almost drive the rain from the kitten's back for a short time through the pains of rippled glass. Desperately, the kitten raised a paw to the glass as if it were a cobweb she could just brush away. She mewed sadly--if only the glass weren't in the way! Another pat of the window, however, threw her off balance and she tumbled off the sill and onto the ground.
The music stopped and, a few moments later, the window flew open and the human peered outside, looking from left to right. At the sound of the kitten's mew, she looked down to see it gazing at the light longingly. With a gasp, the human closed the window. Disappointed, the kitten got to her feet. What's wrong? Did I do something wrong? Resigned, she turned back towards the far corner of the garden.
"Kk, kk, kk?" a voice asked cautiously. The kitten turned around. The human was crouched on a flagstone path, arm held out, beckoning, seemingly oblivious to the rain. Joyously, but still a little cautious, the kitten turned towards the human and went to sniff her hand. The human smiled. "Want to come inside?" she asked.
Do I want to come into the warmth and the dry? the kitten asked herself. Of course I do! With a happy mew, she followed the human back inside.

Entry! Name: RaiMidori Pet Trying For: 3 Response: It's a stormy afternoon and along the edge of the garden in a window you see a comfortable scene, how do you react? What will you do?
Melancholy eyes looked up, traced the sky’s folds. The clouds that roiled and brewed made ominous shapes, like the hands of gods. The obelisks rose in their greying natures and struck down their hammers, and the thunder that ensued was deafening. In one corner of the sky, the glow of red embers could be seen, a place where the destruction had not tainted. It touched the edge of the world like a fragile flame, and he reached out to it with one paw in desire.
He had been out here for quite a long while, but there was no one to blame. They had all told him what horrendous things would go on outside the forest, yet he still found it in himself to discover what lay in wait. What he found: metallic, fast moving objects that blinded his eyes. Tall, two legged humans that strode on as if he did not exist. And smog that rose from factories in the distance, curling like serpentine curses, leaving a bad taste in his mouth. He pawed at the grass gently before peering into the glass, feeling his heart wonder if what he saw was the truth.
Two everkynd, poised picturesquely by the fire. A human stroked one lovingly, and its tail fell from their chair and swung like a pendulum. The other yawned contentedly and rested its head on the ground, its beautiful pelt shining with the outreaching light. The brick that supported the window was hard on his chest, but he stayed put, watching in fascination- the world he had longed to find. He pressed his nose to the glass, breathing warm, clouded circles onto it. This was the world he had wanted. This was the world he needed.
But as the lady turned her head, caught his eye, he felt his heart stop. Out of habit, he fluttered his damp wings weakly before dropping from view, hoping she would chalk it down as an illusion. Though with his cardinal red fur, he doubted it would happen. He flicked his tail in mock annoyance behind him, brought his gaze to the sky again.
If only there was a world up there, a world that he could fly up to. He’d spend his days in bliss- no one would judge him, no one would hate him, and there would be nothing short of beautiful for him to frown at. He was full of spite, and he knew that. Why he had to be such a pessimist eluded him, though it was the reason he was avoided with most caution- he hurt people. He hurt friends, he hurt companions; if he had a family to hurt, he’d probably hurt them, too.
It was in that way that he was secretly glad he didn’t have a mother or father, or else that they had died somewhere. He didn’t know what he’d do if he made his mother cry.
The creak of the doorway edged into his thoughts. The lady poked her head from behind it, just around the corner. He distantly realized that she was rather pretty, wondered what he name was. She called something he couldn’t recognize, and he felt his fur bristle.
Not here, not now.
He would do well not to hurt anyone any further. Not until he learned how he could become someone who knew how to love. So with that, he fell into a running start, his form sleek and agile, even against the fierce gale that foretold of further chaos. His onyx wings shook free of their water and caught the air above him with a snap, lifting him into the air, his body curling up from the inertia. He didn’t look back as he flew away, the fastest his small body had ever carried him.
The world whizzed by in a daze; light, dark, shadow, flare. All he felt was the pounding of his heart in his ears, though there was no regret pulling him back.
When he at last tired, he was on the edge of a babbling brook, and large metal frames rose from each side of him. It was a pity that the humans thought it necessary to mar such a pristine landscape, but from the wires that ran from the tops of these monuments, he decided that it was probably necessary. It was something they wanted, these towers.
What did he want?
He patted towards the creek.
His reflection lay askew in the gurgling water, his face twisted, his body unrecognizable. Still, he leaned in, squinting, until the water brushed his nose, making him yelp. He lept back from the bank in astonishment, then, almost as an afterthought, looked up from his place.
The storm was retreating. And where the tired grey used to be, the last orange of the sunset hue still painted the empyrean, like the fire had caught on to the wind and spread itself in a blur of heat across the land. He lifted his paw again, out of habit. Its blue fur was dark against the brilliant light of the coming night, but it shone with a pure azure, bluer than any blue he had ever seen.
He smiled to himself. It was a strange feeling on his face, awkward, but it warmed his heart. He knew, he knew- he would have to smile more often from now on.
It wasn’t a bad thing.
And he knew what he wanted. He wanted that world- full of warmth, full of love, full of everything he had ever wanted, but could never give. And it was there waiting for him, for the day he learned how to return it.
He picked himself up, gazed at the sky- it didn’t look foreboding, it didn’t look like it had lost hope.
And it didn’t look so far away, anymore.

Entry! Name: Pan-duh bare Pet Trying For: #2 Response: Prompt #3
As my feet touched the ground of the garden's edge, I could feel the smooth blades of grass slip between my toes. The familiarity of that evenings walk to the garden was comfortable and and sensual. However, I couldn't help but feel a sense of uniqueness about the whole exhibition. As I took the first few steps inside, I closed my eyes and breathed in the beauty around me. When I opened my eyes, I spotted a tiny creature sleeping upon a cotton leaf underneath the big tree. Tip-toeing, so as not to wake it, I queitly made my way towards the mysterious inhabitant. Curiousity getting the best of me i scooped up the leaf in my hands and carefully examined the miniture species more carefully. It looked like a kitten with wings! A smile crept on my face as I gazed at the small pixie-like creature, it was one of the cutest things I had ever laid eyes on. Just as I started to think about where it came from and what I should do with it, the kitten streched out its little paws and yawned a big yawn. Soon after, its little eyes fluttered open to reveal the most beutiful gorgeous and entrancing green eyes i've ever seen. A small "Oooh" escaped my mouth. Unsure if the kitten spoke my language, I tried to be friendly. I grabbed a raspberry from a nearby bush and offered it with a warm smile. To my surprise, the little pixie took the berry with outstretched arms and returned its own sweet baby-toothed smile. Once it finished munching, it seemed to want to explore its own curiousity. The kitten crawled all over my hand sniffing, nibbling, examining all while i just sat there giggling all excited about the new friend I had made. I stayed in the garden all through the night that day, and came back every day after that. I still wasnt sure exactly what the pixie kitten was, but we were the best of friends, and thats all that mattered to me.
