A purring growl rumbled in Calum's chest Syd nuzzled him. He slipped an arm Syd's waist, careful of the other's back spikes. A deep chuckle followed the purring growl as he said, "Well you're welcome too."
He looked at the setting sun again and started wondering what Syd had planned for them tonight. "I think this is the first sunset I ever sat and watched."

Syd grinned, feeling like he and Calum were the only two in the world. If they were, he wouldn't mind. Sure, he'd rather be with Calum, his cousin and his best friend, and maybe whoever they loved, he wouldn't want either of them to be unhappy. But, if it were just him and Calum, he'd be somewhat content, sad, but at least he had the person he loved to stay with forever. He sighed, glancing at Calum, then back to the sky, "Really?" He thought for a moment, "I think this one is the nicest. Mostly because of you..." He kissed Calum's cheek, before looking back into the sky, "Look..." He mumbled, "The sky is turning red...that means there might be a storm..." He sighed, "I hope you don't mind the rain...just incase..." He sighed, as the sun seemed inches from the horizon.

"What a pretty color," murmured Calum as he looked up at the red sky. He stared at the sky for a few more moments, looking for any sign of storm clouds. "No I wouldn't mind, I actually enjoy the rain. And if it gets to bad, we could just head back to your place or mine to wait the storm out."
Rather than turn his gaze back to the sun after searching the sky, he turned it to Syd. Fascinated to no end with how the other man's eyes reflected colors. He watched as they darkened and as shadows started to slide over the others face. Needing to touch Syd, he brought a hand up to cup Syd's cheek and stroked it with his thumb. In a tone that radiated affection he said, "You are beautiful."

Sydney nodded in agreement. "Me too, most of the places I've lived, it rained a lot. You have to enjoy the rain to be happy." He shrugged, "Though I guess I'm a rainy person. Last place I lived, it rained in the autumn and I'd often find myself walking around in the evening, watching the way the rain reflected off of the streets. Of course it rained in the winter too. There were only two rain-free months..." He reminiced, hoping namiah was prone to rain.
He sighed, watching the sun dissapear over the horizon, smiling slightly as he felt the touch of his love. He listened, staring in shock to the sun. It was the first time he heard that. He looked Calum in the eyes, his expression a mix of shock and delight, "What...really?"

Calum's eyes stayed locked onto Syd's as he nodded. It felt like he was drowning in the other man's eyes, unable to look away. And not wanting to. His hand slid further down Syd's cheek so that he could skim his thumb over Syd's lips, his touch feather light. "Are you surprised?"

He grinned, nuzzling Calum's hand happily, "I am..." He murmered, "I haven't heard that since I was...er, fourteenish." He sighed, happy, "You're beautiful too." And with that, he gently nudged Calum's hand away, kissing him happily and chuckling. Slowly, a few raindrops fell, before the rain arrived fully. Syd smiled, kissing Calum more passionatly as the rain increased.

Calum's cheeks flushed a light and happily returned the kiss, his tail thumping against the ground. He flicked an ear when he felt a cool rain drop plop onto his cheek. More rain joined that drop and he smiled against Syd's lips as the kiss increased in passion.

The rain wasn't hard, it wasn't a complete downpour, but it was raining enough to the point where you'd get soaked fast. Syd sighed, breaking the kiss and lookin at Calum "Well, so much for making my hair nice." He said, shrugging, "Oh well. What should we do now, love?"

Calum slid off his glasses and tilted his head back to let the rain run over his face. Enjoying the feeling of the small droplets running over his face as he thought about what he and Syd could do next. Maybe it was his wolf side raising it's head, but Calum was oddly feeling playful. He tilted his head and smiled while looking at Syd. "Syd?"

Syd smiled, his hair flattening and drooping as it got wet. He gazed at Calum happily, thinking he was cute when he tilted his head, "Yes?"

Calum slipped his glasses back on, then darted forward and placed an innocent kiss on Syd's nose before climbing to his feet. The before loose shirt now clung to his body, water droplets soaking into the silky fabrin. His mouth formed an almost boyish grin as he looked down at Syd. "Catch me if you can!" With that, Calum turned and shot down the hill.

Syd smiled at the kiss, looking up at him Calum curiously. He could see the other male's figure now that the shirt clung to him. He looked back up, taking a few moments to register what Calum said, before Syd too clammered up and ran down the hill, almost tripping a few times.

Calum turned at the bottom of the hill to make sure the other man was following. With grin still in place, he took off in no real direction. His pace slowed due to some rain drops clinging to his glasses and messing with his sight.

Syd grinned, seeing Calum slow. He picked up speed, glad he had long legs. His tail traild behind him, and his hair whipped in his face, the wind was picking up all around the forest, he could hear it in the trees. Syd was nearing Calum, until, he stumbled over a rock, he flailed his arms, trying to keep his balance, before falling, letting out an 'oof'.

Calum turned when he heard Syd hit the ground. His foot slid out from under him as he turned, sending him falling to the ground and onto his a**. He blinked in surprise before crawling over to Syd, afraid that the other man might be hurt. "You alright Syd?"
