huh... alot of stuff I already knew... but good info nontheless. I thought you were going to talk about some REALLY in depth stuff... like, if I remember correctly, Sephiroth's name's meaning, or it's connection to Tifa's last name... and stuff like that. (i thought it was interesting o.O)

Kusanagi AD Here's a good one for ya! Fenrir, the name of Cloud's motorcycle in Advent Children,(and FFVII if you know about it!), was a wolf in Norse mythology...and Cloud's symbol in AC is known as the Cloudy Wolf... 3nodding and just for reference... Fenrir also bit the Norse God Tyr's right hand off... O-f-f ...off... *gasps* yes, it's my name... *nods* should have known right? Should have...

Tyr Hawk Kusanagi AD Here's a good one for ya! Fenrir, the name of Cloud's motorcycle in Advent Children,(and FFVII if you know about it!), was a wolf in Norse mythology...and Cloud's symbol in AC is known as the Cloudy Wolf... 3nodding and just for reference... Fenrir also bit the Norse God Tyr's right hand off... O-f-f ...off... *gasps* yes, it's my name... *nods* should have known right? Should have... you also forgot to mention that fenrir gets ripped in two during ragnarok ^,..,^

OH yes... but then he ate it! That was kind of evil of him... *shudders* but still kind of cool, i think.
But Zhang Fei holding off all those people at Chang Ban bridge. Zhoa Yun riding through enemy lines to rescue Liu Bei's infant son. The Five Tiger Generals. What's not to love about Shu? Besides their obvious lack of female characters in the video games but... meh

the town midgar in ff7 is the human world in norse mythology. and you've just about covered most of the newer games (ff7 and up) but i know theres alot more and new most of that stuff. damn mind. *stares at tv screen playing video games* domokun domokun domokun ninja ninja

Malboro: It is possible that this name comes from Marlboro Cigarettes, via his Bad Breath attack) but in FF6a it's called Mad Oscar and Evil Oscar. The "Oscar" comes from Sesame Street's Oscar the Grouch, whom it vaguely resembles. From Wilfredo Martinez: MARLBOROS are named after the cigar! There is a joke about it in FF8: one of the booklets you collect during the game points out to the area where they can be found- by saying that CIGAR-SHAPED UFOS have been seen there! Rujiel says that Malboro/Marbolger(FFXI) may be derived from Malebolge, one of the circles of Hell in Dante's Inferno thus hinting that such a monster is from this hellish locale.
