"Yeah, it's just a five minute walk east, I promise." She chuckled. She was starving too. T.C didn't want to delay food any more than they did.

Aimi smiled happily, hands clasped together before she moved to head off in a random direction. Truth be told, she wasn't usually like this, so absent minded and off course. But as of late she had been having odd dreams that left her to wake up crying and unable to cope with the feeling of a painful loss. She had yet to tell either of her friends about it.

Grinning, Kader gave both Aimi and T.C a playful bump as he moved between them. The grin quickly turned to a playful smirk as he moved to try and disarm T.C of the basket of goodness. He had an evil little plan in mind.

T.C had been about to admonish Angeli about falling too far behind, so it wasn't hard for Kader to swipe the basket from her. "Hey!"

Jumping ahead of them, he continued to smirk as he turned to face them. "On account of slowpoke-ness, I may have to cancel lunch, ladies." He watched them, walking backward. "That is... unless you can catch me before I hit the park."
He gave it a few minutes to let it sink in, before turning to dash off. Let the games begin!

T.C tore off after him, using the fact that she was taller than he was to her advantage and trying to catch up.

And Aimi raced after the two as they took off, frowning a bit as she was much shorter then either of them. Bah! Darn them and their longer legs! Darn them all!
Meanwhile, the owner of the red eyes that had been watching Kader and Aimi since the beginning of their day's adventure continued to follow after them, waiting to find the right moment to move after the boy. It was him he wanted and no one else.

Having had the head start, Kader figured he had a bit of time to revel in being king of the basket of goodies. Looking over his shoulder however, T.C was coming up on him real quick.
"Ack!" he raised the basket overhead and threw it into 'run like hell' mode. Sure they were just playing around, but he didn't want the game to be over yet!

She gave a devilish grin. "Angeli, use tackle! Be careful of the basket!"
The Vulpix gave her own devilish grin and tore after Kader.

Aimi slowed down a bit, unable to keep up with them completely, but could hear the call for Angeli to tackle. Uh oh... that didn't sound promising.

He'd heard it as well, chancing a glance over his shoulder to see Angeli coming up. "Oh gods!" he playfully whined. "Angeli! I'll give you treats if you don't tackle me!"
He was working on getting the treats out of his pocket, to at least try and bribe the Vulpix from getting him. "C'mon Angeli! Treats! Don't tackle me for treats!" he tried haggling with the Pokemon. Treats over tackle... It could work!
He wasn't sure what to do with the basket if the Pokemon did try and tackle him. He had no idea what was in it either. If Angeli didn't take the treats instead of him, the game was over. With quite possibly the food as a casualty.

Angeli looked back at T.C, clearly torn and making anxious 'pixpix' noises. Finally T.C just laughed and nodded. "Piiiiiix~!" Angeli all but squeed and paused for Kader to give her the treats.

Yes! Treats prevailed! He gave two or three treats a toss toward the Vulpix before he continued to make his getaway with the basket. "You'll never catch me now!" he called back to T.C and Aimi.
