Caleb was not too far behind Louis as the other boy had to pause and open the door. The canine boy raced on out of the house, not bothering to close the door behind him in the excitement of the race. His tail wagged as he grinned at Louis.

Louis was shocked as Caleb blurred past him, but dashed after his friend anyway, throwing the ball to him and calling out, "Catch!" As he did.

Caleb turned and caught the ball, excited. Playing ball was one of his favorite pastimes. Up there with running and... well, playing ball. The eager boy threw the ball back towards Louis, perhaps a bit too hard. Caleb giggled, his tail wagging happily behind him.

The ball hit Louis square in the stomach, causing him to let out a small 'oof!' noise. Thankfully, he wasn't hurt, and he threw the ball back right away, giggling as he did so. Playing outside was so much more...fun then playing inside.

Caleb glanced at his friend for a moment as the boy didn't catch the ball and instead made a funny noise. But the ball came flying back towards the canine boy, who missed and had to chase after it, giggling. "I like to play ball!" He announced as he tossed the ball back to Louis. "My daddies even got me signed up on a soccer team!"

Catching the ball easier this time, Louis threw it right back. "Soccor?" Louis knew that game, vaguely. He'd seen it on TV once or twice, "Are you any good?"

"Yeah, soccer!" Caleb grinned and caught the ball that time, holding onto it. "I scored a goal, last game!" He puffed his chest out. "Wanna see?" He dropped the ball to the ground and nudged it with one foot. "Can't play with our hands in soccer.. not unless we're goalie and they don't get to score goals."

Louis blinked at his own hands for a moment, then dropped them to his side. "No hands?" He shoved them in his pocket quickly and nodded. "'Kay. So how do you play?"

Caleb nodded at the no hands part. "You kick the ball with your feet and try to get it into the goal!" The boy looked around the yard for something that could be used as a goal... Finally, he pointed to two trees. "Gotta get it between those!" Too bad it was only the two of them, a full game would've been fun!
