"That long..." Yume blinked and nodded. "I guess I've been so busy time just got away from me. Sorry I haven't seen you in so long." She passed a smile over towards him wondering why he looked like he wanted to run away as well.

He smiled, nodding at her apparent surprise. "Yeah, that long, Kitten. How've you been during the fine, long expanse of lonely time without my beautiful presence?" He asked dramatically, laughing.

Yume rolled her eyes at his comment and laughed. "In truth, not that bad. Life just took some turns and changes. How have you been without your Kitten in it?" She purred and unwrapped her tail from her leg and moved it to around her waist.

He chuckled, grinning at her. "Oh, just sad and lonesome without the lovely golden eyed kitten in it. You feelin' speciall yet, Yume?" He smiled crookedly, laughing.

Yume smirked and narrowed her golden eyes. A small hint of one of her fangs showed as she sat out to meet his eyes. "If you are asking, no I'm not." She nodded once.
"You can go on." She said softly, her smirk becoming a wide smile as she turned her head away from facing him and look around them. Seemed it was quiet. She hadn't noticed when she ran in.

He made a mock-tragic face, snapping his fingers. "Oh, almost had'ja!" He grinned, laughing. "Alrighty, I'll go on. With the seven deadly tortures!" He said melodramatically, starting to tickle her.
((Just HAD To have him do that xd My mom did that to me all the time when I was little. It's basically ticking/doing whatever to someone to get them to laugh so hard their face hurts/it hurts to breath whee ))

Yume stood playing with her lang hair. She was older now, much older than the last time she ran into her demon friend. It had been sometime. "I hope he remembers me..." she sighed turning her tail from side to side. "If I can even find him." She said looking up at the sky. She had been gone a long time. It was time to come back home.

Zuko was laying in the grass, his hands behind his head and acting as a pillow as he leaned his hands and head against the base of a tree trunk, balancing a pen on his upper lip. He looked a little silly, since his golden eyes were going slightly cross eyed so he could see the pen he was balancing, like what little kids did to make fake mustaches. He twitched his tail a little, shifting slightly so his wings weren't as uncomfortable, when he heard a soft voice, someone talking to themself. He ignored it for a moment, before he frowned. Wait a sec... That voice sounds familiar... Yume? He sat up, dropping the pen into his lap as he peered around, looking around. "Yume?" He said into the empty air in front of him.

Yume had been walking up and down the side walk. Her eyes were closed as she was lost in thought until her ears twitched. The wind had carried her name. She knew it wasn't just in the trees. Her eyes snapped opened and she looked around. Who...who is calling me? She thought as her defenses went up. She looked around and froze as her eyes caught the colors she knew...the same black and gold. "Zuko..." She whispered back as she froze in place. It had to be him...

((Kay ^^ Ha ha, it sounds so picturesque! She paused as she heard her whispered name! rofl heart ))
Zuko twitched again as he heard his name. He leaned forward, listening for anything else. Finally, after a moment or two, he laboriously stood up, brushing the clinging grass off his backside as he walked towards the row of hedges blocking his sight from the path. Standing on his toes, since it was taller then even him, he peered over it, and his tail flicked in the grass. "Yume!" He said, smiling delightedly. Quickly trotting around the hedge, he stopped when he saw her. "Well, you've certainly grown, Kitten." He said, raising an eyebrow as he grinned his old grin, before moving to give her a quick hug and kiss on the cheek.

There was no mistaking it that time. A male voice had just called her name.
As she turned quickly, she saw a glimps of gold behind a bush before the body came out the other side. "Zuko!" She called out joining him in a hug. "Grown? Has it really been that long?" She pulled back slowly and looked him over. Same old Zuko. He seemed like himself. Maybe she had changed.
"Where have you been hiding? I didn't know when I would see you again."

He chuckled, grinning cheerfully as he shrugged. "Oh, here and there, just counting down the days to see my beautiful Kitten again." He said, bowing with a flourish and a smile, furling his wings to his shoulders so they looked like a striped cloak. "Where've you been? And... How's Jiyuu?" He asked, the smile disapearing for a moment, as he looked a slight bit anxious.

"Had you been counting down the days, you could have come and found me." She smirked at him and tapped a finger on his chest and smiling. "I'm not that hard to find." She nodded. "And I know you know what I look like."
Watching him bow, she returned it with a low curtsy. "Very nice to see you again." She then smiled up, a fang slowly appearing but hidding again when Jiyuu was brought up. "He is doing well. Mom is very protective of him right now. Frankly...he's lacking something in his life...friends." She signed thinking back to her brother and the look his is eyes. "He's become a bit of a loner...or clings to me."

Zuko sighed, glad to hear that Jiyuu was doing alright. He rubbed the back of his neck, letting a hand slide into a pocket. "That's kind of good to hear, I guess. Maybe he and Aqua could hang out at some point? She manages to get even the loners to smile." He couldn't help but grin fondly as he thought of his little sister. "So what've you been up to lately, Kitten?"

"Well, we will just have to set them up later." She nodded once and brushed a hair out of her face. "But that would be interesting." She smirked up at him.
"I've been doing fine." She said walking around him in a circle looking him up and down. He still looked much like she remembered him. "Life has been going. And what about you?" She smiled walking back in front of him. "You seem like yourself still."
