Edward saw the cheif's daughter enter the room, Bella was her name. Air was blowing in through the windows and whipped pass her. Edward's throat burned to a degree he never experianced before in thirst. It took every ounce of his strength to not attack the poor girl. Then, the teacher just had to sit her next to him. Was he wanting her to die? Edward gripped the sides of the table in agony as she sat down. He then moved to the far end of the table, as far as he could go. The entire length of the class was torture for him. When the bell finally rang, Edward got up and walked swiftly out the door, a little too fast for a human, but he didn't care at that point. He got into his volvo and sat there, trying to calm himself down. He kept wondering to himself, Why can't I read her mind? Why does she do that to me? He also wondered if Bella was one of the things to him that his brother, Emmett, had experianced before. Could she be a singer to me? he thought, in torture as everyone left the school to go home.

Bella felt hot tears prickle her eyes. They way he gripped the table like that. They way he looked at her as if he despised her very exsistnce. "How can someone I've never spoken a word to hate me that much?" She wondered aloud as she walked to her truck. The wind blew her long black hair around behind her but she barely noticed. Out of the corner of her eye she saw him sitting in his volvo a bewildered look on his face. Bella sighed and heaved herself into the cab of her car. There she felt the tears rush down her cheeks. Bella started to pull out of her parking spot when a car slammed into her back end. She felt her truck start to spin. When it finally stopped she was in the middle of the parking lot and a boy in a green van was spinning out of control right for her truck. Bella screamed and tried to open her door but it was stuck. Her eyes were darting from the van which was about to slam into her car head on and the door handle which wouldn't seem to open her car door. "LET ME OUT!" She bellowed crying even more then she was before out of fear. "HELP ME!" Bella screamed but to her dismay most of the students were just standing eyes wide in terror watching the scene unfold.

Edward saw Bella walk out of the school. I hate you because you are making my exsitence pretending to be a human even more difficult for me. he thought angrily. He then saw the van swerve towards Bells's truck. Edward got out of his car fast and yanked the door off of her truck, pulling her out of it. He then stopped the van from moving using his body. A second later he was at Bella's side on the pavement. "Bella, are you okay?" he asked in his velvety voice., a little worried. Her scent was also getting to him again, so he held his breath.

Bella's looked at him with a look of shock and horror and thanks all combined. Suddenly everything in her sight swirled and she fainted. Two minutes later she heard his velvet voice cutting into her mind. Bella's eyes fluttered and she looked up into his golden eyes. "W-What...How did you do that?" She asked looking at the dent in the van and the door to her truck laying 50 feet away from them on the lawn of the school. "I'm fine...Thanks.." She said as she looked up at him with a million mixed feelings. Then she noticed he wasn't breathing. "Are you holding your breath?" She asked bewildered and fascinated at the same time.
((Awe. Okay try to hurry back!))

Mika sprang out of her seat as soon as the bell rang. Final free of Math class! That class was one of the most boring classes on her schedule. Nothing exciting had happened. It was annoying, no fights ever broke out. It was like everyone in this town was really mellow or something. Of coarse there had been that new student in her Spanish class, but she seemed kind of quiet, like the rest of them... She walked out just in time to see a truck sliding towards Belle's car. She was about to jump in a try to stop it, but Edward beat her too it.

Bella sat looking up at the boy who saved her. She didn't even know his name. What was she going to tell Charlie. And what about a the door to her car. Bella felt tears coming again. God she was so pathetic. She angrily wiped them away.

((Sorry I took so long, I had a eye doctors appointment, chores and other stuff... forgot I had to do half of it. And I love my sig to!!! mrgreen ))
Edward felt so entirerly stupid for saving this girl, she could give away his family's secret and then they would have to move before it was really necessary, again. Edward looked at Bella, pretending to be confused. "Bella, what are you talking about? I was standing right next to your car door when I pulled you out." he said sounding honest. "And I was only holding my breath worrying to see if you were okay, see i'm fine now." he grinned, moving his chest but not taking in any air. He then looked around and saw an ambulance pull into the parking lot. "Looks like you get a ride to the hospital." he said to her kindly.

Bella looked at him with her eyes wide. "N-No you weren't...I saw you in your volvo..." She said bewilldered. Bella's mind was swimming. He was all the way across the parking lot...I saw him..Or did I? Bella shook her head and looked at the ambulance. She get a queezy feeling in her stomach. "N-No I'm fine. Really I don't need to go to the hospital." She said with a sudder at the thought of that anti-disinfectant smell.

Edward looked at her sternly "No Bella, I was right next to you." he said his eyes intense, trying to tell her to please agree to it. He then looked at the paramedics coming out of the ambulance, they all knnew him from his 'father.' "Bella, just let them take you there and check you out. You won't even have to spend the night." he promised. He already knew that from his medical school training in the past.

Bella looked at him with a confused look. She understood what he was trying to convey with his eyes. Finally she sighed. "Y-Yeah I guess you were right there huh?" She looked at the paramedics and groaned feeling sick and dizzy. "Fine. I guess it couldn't hurt. But if I'm going so are you." She said just at sternly back at him with a look that said "Don't object because I KNOW you weren't next to my car."

Edward sighed. "I don't need to go, but if it will make you happy I guess I will." he said. When the paramedics put Bella on the stretcher it was obvious she didn't want to be, but she could deal with it, it was for her own safety. He then climbed into the back of the ambulance with Bella after a quick talk with the paramedics. He sat down by her head. "They are just following protocal." he said, smiling his crooked smile at her. He could tell she was upset with the neck brace they had placed on her.

If Bella hadn't been strapped to a stratcher she would have ripped this stupid brace off her neck. But she could help but smile when Edward gave her that crooked smile. It made him look so...there isn't even a word that can discribe how he looked. He was inhumanly beautiful. When she finally got to the hospital she gladly ripped the neck brace off and waited in a room for the doctor. When all the nurses had left and it was just her and Edward she turned a stern gaze on him with her dark blue eyes. "Alright spill it. I know you weren't near my car I saw you all the way across the parking lot. So how did you get over there so fast. Not to mention the whole ripping my door off and the dent in Tyler's van. I want some answers." She said jabbing his chest with her pointer finger to find it hard as stone. Bella tried to hide the fact that now her finger throbbed as well as her head.

Edward looked at Bella. The spot where she had poked him was now very comfortably warm. "I will tell you later. Just not here, and not now." he whispered as another doctor walked in to examine her. When the doctor had finished examining Bella and left, Edward then asked. "Is your finger okay?" He was worried because the face she had put on, after she had poked him, was one of pain.

Bella narrowed her eyes at him as the other doctor examined her. Once he was done and told her she was fine she retroted. "I could have told you that one." Throwing a glance at Edward to show how much she hated him for making her come here. When he asked about her finger she crossed her arms and turned her back on him. "Its fine." Then she turned back and looked at him. Bella sighed. "I'm sorry for questioning you like that..But thanks for saving me." She said looking at the floor trying hard not to be captivated by his velvet voice and enchanting eyes.
