Omoa didn't notice that Hadaya had drifted off into his own mind for a moment. She didn't know that he was thinking other thoughts, not truly paying attention to her story. All she saw was an understanding smile on his face, his eyes towards her, and that's all she needed.
"Really?" she said, confused. "Nothing physically good at? You don't play...tag, or hide and seek, or Scavenger, or stuff like that? I could teach you!"
She offered him the opportunity of playing a game with her because she knew that somewhere, deep down inside, there was a cub that wanted to play a game. If no one liked to play with him, Omoa would. She loved playing games. ANd if the other person didn't, well, that was okay too.
But she glanced at the sky and noticed the dark colors: it was getting late. Her father would worry if she wasn't home soon. So she turned back around to her new friend with a slight frown--but still smiling--and told him the bad news.
"I'm sorry, but it's getting late and I gotta go home now. Dad'll worry if I don't get back soon. We'll play next time, though, okay? You get to pick the game!" She rose and trotted away for a few steps, but then turned back, giving him a smile of reassurance.

Hadaya blinked, only having heard of the first two games she asked about. He did not know what Scavenger was, but he was not about to ask, lest they be trapped in a game he was completely incapable of playing. He was not much for learning by experience, and did not want to risk that chance.
Though, he was never asked to play games, and it might have been fun to give it a try, at least.
Gathering courage, he opened his mouth to ask about the latter most game, only to see her eyes go to the sky. He followed the glance, noting the colors, and knowing what was coming. Closing his mouth, he did his best not to look disappointed as the impending end of their meeting drew closer. He saw her frown for what it was, nodding as she spoke.
"It's okay!" he said, too enthusiastically, "I have to... I have... food. I have to catch some food. So. I should go before they're all asleep, anyway. If we see each other again, I'd love to play a game!" He watched her trot off, smiling back at her with surprising confidence and honesty as she looked back. For some reason, he did believe they would play that game at some point.
"It was nice meeting you!" He called suddenly, as if worried he might not get to say it before she vanished, "I hope you have fun where you're going, with your new family!"
He stood, moving in the opposite direction of her, looking back over his shoulder to watch her progress and bumping into a tree. It did not even bother him, for once. He was feeling pretty happy, having made a new friend.
