Pedastal? What was a pedastal? Was that the same thing as a large tree? Of course... she'd always just called trees... trees. But that was to be expected.
Mind that Trig looked like a tree aside, Akiva had never seen a 'pedastal' before in her life, short as it was and looking uncharacteristically shorter by the day.
Slowly she rose and followed him silently as she could, hoping that he wouldn't see her shadowing him. He was so large... she couldn't help but be amazed that a lion could ever be that large, but then there he was. If only she could reach out and snuggle into all that warm mass of mane he had on his head and chest... it looked like a giant bed.
Lions were always the lucky ones.

Trig casually strolled into her den, the sand eventually ebbing into more rocky like grounding. To his right was the lowest platform, which he had eventually started calling pedestals, to his left was the mid-sized one, and straight ahead, against the wall was the largest where he was heading.
The massive lion glanced back a few times to check if she was still by the shore, but the horizontal view had blocked out the shore line so it was difficult to tell. But her scent was still around him...
With a soft grunt, Trig pushed himself up onto his pedestal with a single leap and quickly settled himself down. It strange, but this did not feel like his usual vagabond visitor. She seemed a lot different and one that needed a home, not just a temporary place to stay.
