Brittany answered Lye with a friendly smile, "How mad you are every morning." Brittany also had a feeling of jelousy when he had said the name of the girl he was the movie with. ....Louise... she thought. "We should go then. So Lye can get some sleep." ...maybe then he will be less grumpy.... she added in her head.

Lysander furrowed his brow when he heard Vince speak. He just realized, he was calling him by Lysander and not Lye.
"Wait, I just realized, dude, call me Lye. I hate my name..."
Lysander looked off to the side, snarling at the thought of his full first name. His dad was a small-time yet ambitious businessman, priding himself on his aggressive business tactics. His mother, on the other hand, was an artistic woman, who loved Shakespeare. Lysander still didn't understand how they managed to get together. Anyways, when Lysander was born, his idiot of a dad wanted to call him Napoleon and the hopeless romantic wanted to name him Romeo. They thought hard on a name for him when they finally came across Lysander, his dad chose because it was a name of a Spartan general while his mother named him for the character in A Midsummer Night's Dream. Lysander yawned and scratched the back of his neck, tired.

"I know, thats why I always call you Lysander, but fine...Lye!" Vincent said just fooling around a little bit. "So how are we gonna get there? You know all I have is my motorcycle which I can't fit four people on...I can fit two, me and someone else..."So does anyone want to drive?"

Lysander rubbed his eyes, trying to rub out his weariness.
"I have my Impala."
Lysander was proud of his '59 Chevy Impala, he had been working on it forever. He had found it in bad condition when he was 13, and had persuaded his then-step-dad to buy it for him. That was probably the coolest step-dad he had ever had. Since then, Lysander had been working on it until about four months ago. It had been completely redone: it now had a great stereo system, it was Tokyo Purple, it even had the obligatory hydraulics system. And it was an understatement to say that he was protective of it.

"Lye...that things like your baby. I don't think you'd be very happy if there was to be an accident." Vincent said knowing he was right when it came to the accident. "I bet you any money that if I dropped a cookie on the seat you'd try to beat my a**." He said just trying to piss him off now.

Lysander shook his head.
"I wouldn't beat your a**. I'd horribly maim you. And you're right, if I got in a wreck because of you, I'd club you, kidnap you, torture you until you beg for death, then force you to live a nice, long, miserable life."
Lysander smiled pleasantly the entire time, which was kind of his 'thing'. If it weren't for the fact that he was telling a horrible death threat, he would have seemed very nice then.

"Lye! Don't be mean to Vincent. He was only making a joke..." Jade said, in quite a powerful voice. She didn't like it when her friends fought, even if it was just kidding around.

Lysander immediately felt guilty, and almost swallowed, but managed to make himself look calm. Instead, he made a snide face at Jade.
"Sorry to get your panties in a twist."
Lysander's heart immediately leaped itself into his throat, while letting a nine-volt battery stay in it's place.

Jade turned away at the face he gave her, and looked dijected.
"You don't have to be such an a**, though." She mumbled coldly, glaring a a blade of grass.
She wouldn't dare turn her glare to Lysander, for fear of losing a friendship. That was Jade's biggest fear.
Losing a friend, especially over a silly fight like this.
And even though this may not be considered a fight, that's what Jade classified it as.

Vincent looked at the two. "Jade, don't worry. It's what we do. plus I honestly don't care how big of an a** he's being." He said chuckling at himslf for no reason at all.

Inside, Lysander was hurt, devastated, and any other negative feeling one could think of. On the outside, he was still his thoughtless, a*****e-ish self, who was a bit remorseful. He rolled his eyes and sighed.
"Alright, look, I'm sorry, alright? I'm still cranky from no sleep."

"Thank you for being so considerate of Lye's mood, Vincent." She said, voice softening when referring to the other boy. Then, when Lysander aplogized (if you could call that an apology), Jade turned to him, face a little stiffer, but not by much.

"Well... neither Brittany or I can drive... so, maybe one of you can borrow my mom's car? She's off today..." Jade mused, astonished at the statement she just made.
Her mom was never home. She was always at work, and today she was sleeping. Jade's mom also had a nice Jeep, which was a bonus.
