electric becauce it is easier to play and bend the strings on u also have alot more effects the a acoustic

To tell you the truth, I think acoustic sounds better. I prefer the acoustic versions of songs other than the rock versions. (Like Face Down and Thunder)

I think it's unfair to say that an acoustic makes a mellower sound than an electric. The electric has the capability to create warm, smooth lines and very delicate chord progressions.

Agreed...
I'm not very fond of the acoustic guitars because to be honest i don't find the need to use them as much as i used to.
but i am completely mesmerized by classical guitar. I love playing classical guitar...but I also enjoy shredding on electric. 3nodding
