He glances back at his wings and moves them before smiling at Tykier. "Cause..." He says reaching back and yanking out a pink feather with a wince and holding it out. "That way we remember each other forever!" He says as if its the most obvious thing in the world.
"Yah he's a wild one alright..." She ruffles his hair and smirks at him.
The boy glances up at her with a wide and loving smile. "Momma my feathers are gonna fall out."
"Oh really? Well hopefully not too many." She muttered glancing back to Eve. "We gotta head out soon. I got someone for the brat to meet."

Tykier was tickled at what Devan did, and then jerked one feather out of his right arm, not showing any sign of pain, and held it out. "Here." Accepting the pretty pink feather.
Eve just laughed at D.S. and Devan, "Don't worry, it'll just be in tiny clumps around that house..." She says jokingly...

Devan took the feather with glee and held it close. "Thank you! Momma look it!" He said holding it up proudly. "We traded feathers!"
"So I see..." She gave a small smirk to Eve. "I'll talk to you later. See you, runt." She said to Tykier as she ushered Devan out the door.
"Bye Tykier!" Devan shouted back, waving his hand with the feather clutched tightly in it.
