Now Kin was really ticked off, "Alright!" he said walking up to Akina, "You want to fight so bad? Then come on! Lets go!" he said with he behind in the air, ready to pounce.

"Everyone knows that boys are better by the way, we are bigger, quicker, and stronger! And Im not scared of fighting you, I just dont want to hurt you more than you already are." he finished in a huff.

"WE'LL SEE ABOUT THAT." Akina roared, a huge grin on her face. Without hesitation, she leaped at her opponent, claws stretched, jaws wide. She tackled him to the ground but was met with surprising resistance.

He was stronger than he looked.

Akina tried not to worry about the pulsing in her head from her previous headbutt. But the pain was good, she told herself. Pain meant you could be stronger. With a smirk, Akina growled and scratched at the small male's shoulder furiously, tiny claws not doing much damage. But still, she wasn't about to let up. She'd show him that she was powerful, girl or not.

Kin braced himself as Akina leapt towards him, she hit him hard, harder than he expected, and they both fell to the ground. He pushed her off of him, but he was still on the ground, she clawed at his shoulder, sending little slices of pain down his leg.

With a growl, he leapt up and tacked her again, making sure not to touch her forehead, and pinned her to the ground. With her under him, he stared at her, not knowing what to do next.

With a flail and a grunt, the wild dog pup had Akina on her back. Akina growled angrily and tried digging her claws into his paws to get him off. It was no use. His skin was tougher than she thought it was. He wasn't bleeding as easily as other things she attacked did.

"What kind of weird animal are you?!" Akina spat, wriggling beneath him in her struggle to get away. He had stopped fighting abruptly and was just holding there. Was this his way of showing he was the better fighter? Fat chance! Akina flashed her fangs and in a blur of white, bit down hard on his foreleg.

Kin looked down as he had Akina in a hold, which was tough considering she kept wiggling. "Im not a weird animal!" he said at her, "I told you, Im a wild dog, we are kinda like the opposite of the cat species like lions," he said calmly. And then all of a sudden, he felt a pain shoot up his leg, it was more pain then Kin had felt before and it caused him to cry out in pain.

He jumped off Akina but fell as his leg went limp, "What'd you do that for?!" he yelled, "I didn't want to fight you, thats why I had you in that hold. I don't like fighting girls..." he said softly, licking his bleeding wound.

Akina flipped onto her stomach and hobbled to her feet. She spat white fur out of her mouth continuously, her expression disgusted. Her heart fluttered at the thought of biting someone and she narrowed her eyes. Maybe it was too much...But she really was only playing. It wasn't like she was seriously attacking him or anything...

A knot of guilt built up inside her and she groaned loudly at the feeling. She hated feeling indebted because of her own actions. It wasn't fair for her mind to do that to her. She felt she should---No, she could say the word. But she had to...She had to apologize.

"Well, SOR-RY that you're so weak!" Akina said tauntingly, smirking at him.

Well, that wasn't the apology she was thinking of, but beggers couldn't be choosers.

Kin watched at Akina fell off of him and spit out the fur she had taken off his leg, what was wrong with this girl?! He heard her groan, and that made him snap his head up, what was her problem?

"You're sorry that Im weak?" he said, letting a whimper slip out due to the pain, "I could take you if I wanted... But you're a girl! I don't hurt girls if I can prevent it. Bitting me like that was completely uncalled for by the way, I didn't do anything to you!"

Suddenly swaying a bit back and forth from a sudden wave of pain through her head from her previous headbutt, Akina slurred her words as she spoke. "Bein' a girl...has nossin' t' do with...fightin'..." she mumbled, swaying a bit more.

Her body decided against her mind's wishes to lie down and rest for a moment. She closed her gold eyes and slumped onto her side with a quiet sigh. "Your head is rock-hard, shorty." she mumbled, brows knitting in annoyance at her pulsing head.

Kin was really mad, but he completely lost it when he saw Akina start to sway on her feet. That normally wasn't a good sign... "Hey, you alright?" he said after her garbled up reply, "You don't look good at all..." He jumped towards her when she fell over, mouth eyes wide with concern for the girl.

He slowly leaned down next to her, pushing his body under hers and lifting her onto his back. "Trust me on this one," he said softly. He moved slowly, as not to drop her, and walked over towards a tree where she could sit in the shade.

'What do ya think you're doin, shorty?!' Akina wanted to shout. But she found that words wouldn't come out of her mouth. The only thing her body wanted to do was breathe for a bit and relax.

Her paws twitched slightly when the pup placed her on his back. Maybe he wasn't so weak after all?

But darnit, that wasn't how it was supposed to be! She was supposed to be the tough one in that situation. Akina loved to fight. And she liked to think she was good at it. It was just like normal playing to her. She never realized that giving a head-butt like she saw certain prey animals do would ever hurt her head so much. But she stopped thinking for right then and allowed herself to be carried to wherever the wild dog pup wanted to carry her.

She'd just beat him up later...

Kinyago was walking towards the shady tree with Akina on his back, he only had to stop once, and that was when Akina started to struggle a bit when he first put her on his back. She settled down quickly enough though, and he resumed the short journey. When he reached his destination, he leaned over and put her down as gently as he could, making sure she was covered by the shade in this hot afternoon.

"Don't. Move." he commanded, looking down at her, "I'm gonna go and see if I can find some water for you, I'll be back quickly." And with that, he walked off through the tall grass. Using his super sensitive nose, he was able to locate rushing water in a stream only a few yards away. Now was the problem of bringing it back to her... Searching for a bit more, he found a small hollowed out log that he could fit in his mouth. He dipped it in the water and when it was filled, he walked slowly back to where Akina was lying.

Akina allowed herself to be placed in the shady spot, cool grass easing her taxed body. She sighed sleepily and closed her eyes. At the stiff commands of the wild dog pup, she squinted her eyes shut tight and bared a fang, angry at being told to do something. And what the heck? She could take care of herself. She could get water herself. She was tough. She could...She...

Was suddenly very tired...

Akina's face relaxed and she listened to the footsteps of the wild dog fade into the distance. She felt a yawn escape her lips and her head was dizzy. She fell asleep after a few short moments.

Kin moved slowly back to where he had told Akina to lye down. He was attempting to not move his head so much, so the water would all fall out of the log he was holding, and it was frustrating to have to move so slowly. He finally made it back to where she was lying and put the log down next to he; with a sigh he sat down and looked at Akina and saw she was... 'wait a second,' he thought, 'her eyes shouldnt be closed! is she ok?!'

He quickly bent down and put his ear to her chest, and to his relief she was still breathing. "Probably just asleep then," he said to himself, "stupid girl making me actually worry like that..." He sat down for a second, contemplating whether or not he should wait for her to get up. After thinking about it, he nudged the log close to her so she would be able to see it, and got up. Taking one final look at her, he walked away with a smile on his face.

About half an hour passed. Akina woke up, but she kept her eyes closed, wanting to sleep longer. She stretched her body with a grunt, yawned, and opened her eyes. Then her heart lurched. She wasn't in her daddy's den, she was outside in the open and--

"Oww." Akina groaned, wincing. Her head hurt. Then, memories began rushing back into her head. Everything that had happened within the past hour. Had it all been a dream? The strange-looking antelope who said he wasn't an antelope and called himself Kinyago...

Akina frowned and, for a moment, her tough exterior vanished. She thought she had finally found someone who, maybe...Could've been her...Well...Friend. No one really liked to play with her too much. They said she was "too rough". Akina sighed sadly and looked around. Then she saw something out of the corner of her eye. Turning her head, Akina saw what it was.

Just beside her was a little hollowed log full of water.

Akina felt her heart skip a beat and she blinked several times at it in shock. But she realized she was getting flustered and acting girly, so she shook her head violently, willing her thoughts away. She glared at the water. "Tch, stupid guy..." she murmured.

But a smile eventually reached her face and she bent down and drank the water. When the log was empty, she lied down beside it and curled herself around it as if it were her favorite possession. She flicked her tail and sighed dreamily.

"Maybe he wasn't so stupid after all?" she mumbled.
