"Kai!" It was like a catalyst for angst. "Just because I said I thought they were pretty, that doesn't mean you-- when did you...?" With a genuine sigh of agitation, Sara bonked her forehead against his. "What am I going to do with you?" The one thing she was glad he bought for her, though, was the jointed fish pendant she still wore every single day. Once or twice the fins were bent, but she tried her best to put it to right again.

Jay smiled at the thought of the couple finally moving along in their relationship, and he couldn't help but think the same of Kit and himself. He glanced over at her, wanting to, as Aiden put it 'make a move' but could never find the right time. So after a moment or two he merely sighed and leaned back against his seat.
((lol I didn't want to interrupt the conversation with Jay blurting out something random so I'll keep him quiet for now. >w<))

Aiden looked between the two of them, and then grinned brightly with a new idea. He grabbed Kits arm and pulled her into the living room with him. Their conversation was muffled, and was a mystery to anyone else.
Kai smiled, kissing her.
" You are going to love me, and come on the date with me tommorow. That's what you're gonna do." He said, twiddling with her fingers again and casting a glance at Jay. Everyone wished he would grow some backbone, and ask Kit out already, though it seemed Aiden had that well in hand.

"That first part was a given," she purred. "I will go out with you, and be proud like I always am that you are my Kai." Sara followed his glance to Jay, knowing what he was thinking. She almost wanted to throw those two together, but what was bound to be would be. "How hard was it for you to do little things like giving me your coat and touching my face and asking for a kiss?" she murmured very softly in his ear so Jay wouldn't hear. "I couldn't be happier now... he's losing chances by the day."

Jay cocked an eyebrow as Aiden took off with kit. What's he up to...? He silently wondered while the two love birds continued pouring over each other. In a way, a lot of ways, he was jealous of them, of their pure relationship. He longed for that with Kit, but knew that it was probably too late by now. He had taken so long in an advance, that she was probably no longer interested.

Aiden and Kit came back from the living room, Aiden with a big grin and Kit blushing but looking bold. They both strode back to Jay, Aiden slumping down in his chair.
Kai chuckled.
" I think Aidens got it under control." He winked at Sarah and continued to watch them.
Kit placed her hands on her hips and put on her most spunky smile.
" So Jay, are you free the night after tommorow?" She asked, beaming.

Jay cocked his head, caught a bit off guard. "I, erm, I mean..." He shot a look to Aiden, feeling he was behind this. "Y-yeah, sure, w-what do you have in mind?" he asked trying to act more confident.

Kit smiled and sat herself on the table again.
" Well, we could go down to the cafe for dinner...or go see a movie, or whatever you'd like to do." She winked at him, still blushing a bit. Aiden just grinned, pleased things were going as he said.

Now it was Jay's turn to blush bright red. He cleared his throat, trying to think of something intelligent to say. "So-ounds great!" He replied quickly with a waver in his voice that made his face turn a brighter red. "I mean, if you really want to..." He crossed his arms, trying to act suave, but only to lose his balance on his chair, falling backwards with a dull thud. Shutting his eyes tight he swore to himself a few times before sitting up, rubbing his neck embarrassed.

Kit let out a bright laugh, before leaping delicately off the table and picking him up easily with one hand.
" You should be more careful." She lifted the chair back in its place, before pecking him on the cheek.
" And yes, I want to. Eight 'o clock the night after tommorow?" She beamed at him.

Jay felt numb as she quickly kissed him. all he could do was smile and nod, feeling like the same little boy back on Druis again. "E-eight O' clock! Got it..." He managed to say clearly enough, still smiling.

((Sorry, gotta speed it up a bit.))
She beamed at him, nodded, and sat herself again, resuming normal conversation with the two young men.
Kai reluctantly jumped back from Sara to serve a late lunch for all of them, which consisted of sandwhiches, soup, salad, and any other things they suggested. They five of them headed into the dining room to each and chat and of course, eat some more.

After Kit's proposal for an evening together was made, Jay couldn't really talk straight. So he settled for keeping rather quiet while he merely picked at his food. Recently things had been going wrong for him. He had received word from a trader about his sister, saying that the bounty hunter she had been with has essentially abandoned her, leaving her to fend for herself. This enraged Jay, even if it were just a rumor. Anyone who hurt his sister would have to pay. But he hadn't even been able to get a hold of his sister but once, and she seemed very upset at the time. All these negative emotions had consumed his thoughts, until now. Kit just had that effect on him.
