"Ice Beam!" Renekai shouted. Bell was in trouble. With Chirper able to use a super super effective attack and Bell unable to freeze him, they were as good as doomed. Bell's hitpoint advantage seemed like nothing now. Not when it could be dissolved in one hit.
Bell fired an ice beam right through the flying rocks, getting a bad hit from two or three of them. She sank slowly to the sandy beach, panting hard. Had her beam made its way through the soaring boulders and onto its target?

The shiny swablu spotted the glow of the icebeam through the pile of rocks he had sent at Bell and quickly flapped his wings to gain altitude. The blue beam passed by his legs, the air around it developed icy crystals which started to coat Chirper's legs. Suddenly, Chirper found it was much harder to fly with the extra weight made by the ice on his legs.
He cried out in distress as he lost altitude despite his desprate attempts at flapping a wings.
"Chirper! Just drop to the ground!" Luna commanded, not wanting her pokemon to be more stressed with flying than necessary. Chirper did so, half hazardly dropping on the warm sand of the beach.
"Bluuuuu..." Chirper muttered, shaking some sand out of his feathers and continuing onwards to peck the ice off his legs in annoyance.
Luna sighed, knowing that Bell would probably attack at any moment while Chirper was distracted grooming. "Chiiiiiiiiiiirper, stop trying to peck off your leg you silly bird! Hurry up with another Natural Gift!"
Chirper hissed at his leg and the offending pieces of ice stuck to it, but once again obeyed his trainer. He scanned the field for Bell again, easily spotting the red and white creature within the field. His eyes glowed as he gathered more energy for his next attack, levitating the sand around Bell and mentally compressing it into harder rocky forms before shooting them at the bird pokemon again.

"Bell! No!" was all Renekai could say. Bell's eyes shone with fear for a moment before she was completely covered in rocks. "Bell...?" Renekai prompted softly. For a moment, nothing happened, but then a few small rocks tumbled off the pile and Bell's battered head appeared. "Can you go on?" Renekai asked quietly. There wasn't much else left to do, except for be defeated. However...
"Deli!" Bell shouted aggressively, trying to show off that she still had something left. She roughly pushed boulders away, then half-flew, half-fell to the sandy ground. Bell groaned. Her feathers were a mess, and she was all dirty. But now was not the time... Bell struggled to her feet, panting slightly, then glanced towards Renekai, clearly waiting for her command.
"Oh, Bell..." Renekai muttered. The Delibird was so stubborn. Even though she was clearly hurt, she wanted to finish the fight. "All right, then... Go for another Ice Beam."
Bell opened her beak, and soon her entire face was lit with a bright blue light. Bell's feathers had been twisted and mutilated. Some had been ripped out entirely. The flesh that was exposed was badly bruised, and she was dusted in dirt and sand all over. "Libir!" Bell shouted, firing the beam at the horrible little Chirper.

(Battlefield is now changing to rock)
Chirper hissed and flew higher in surprise when he noticed Bell had broken free from his rocks. Chirper had thought - he wished - that the battle was over. Meanwhile, the sands of the seashore compacted into solid rock once more as pillars shot out of the sea, forming into sandstone.
Luna was a bit relieved at their latest hit, it gave Chirper a major advantage over the battle and now they had quite a lead. Good. "Now it's time to give them a real show, eh~? M'kay Chirper, go in with a steel wing!"
"Blu!"
Horrible Little Chirper's wings glowed briefly before turning metallic. With a few flaps, the small bundle of feathers launced at the ice, tilting his wings to fly around the attack. The cold that radiated from the beam still indirectly affected him, although it did not affect him as much as a direct touch, but his steel wings allowed him to continue gliding onwards towards Bell.
Within the last stretch, Chirper put on a burst of speed and cut past through the right side of Bell's head hoping that his wings would have nicked Bell's face along the way.

((Sorry. *facepalm* I won't be doing this kind of field again for a while...))
Renekai shook her head and frowned as poor Bell was knocked around once more. All Renekai wanted to do now was throw in the towel, but it wouldn't work, not when Bell could help it. "Do your best, Bell," she said softly, yet loudly enough to be heard.
Bell's vision flickered. Black dots swam before her gaze, and she couldn't shake the feeling. She really wanted to sleep right now... How nice it would be to sleep... But she had to get her act together! Fight until the end. And might as well make it a show.
Bell weakly tilted her head back, eyes glazed. Multicolored lights formed in her beak, then, wavering, drifted to the ceiling. It didn't matter now if it hit Chirper or not; it was all Bell could do to keep watching her Aurora Beam take form. It danced around and shimmered, making Bell feel oddly at peace... Mesmerized with fatigue, Bell satisfied herself with gazing at her beautiful attack.

(Your HP is actually 100 xD )
"Let's end this then Chirper!"
Chirper was just about to secure his first victory. They were only a move away and Luna was a bit giddy with excitement to see her new pokemon make a victory.
"Bluu~!" Chirper rogered, flying in a loop to fly back towards Bell. With great caution, Chirper flew above the multicolored aurora beam. But the curious swablu could not help but be entranced by the multitude of colors within the beam.
"Bluuuuuuuuu...." Chirper said in fascination, dipping down slightly to perhaps touch the dazzling colors, completely forgetting his past experiences with the attack. The sharp cold that ran through his fluffy wings snapped his attention back to focus.
"Steel wing!"
Right on cue, Chirper's wings flashed with a metallic sheen. The swablu looked forward towards the quickly approaching delibird with a determined glint in his eyes. In a blink of an eye, Chirper sped up, slicing past Bell once more. [400/800]

With the last attack, Bell wobbled, then fell. She was already on the ground, thankfully, so she was all right. Other than the fact that she had fainted.
"Nice try, Bell." Renekai returned Bell to her pokeball. "One day I'll catch up to you!" she called to Luna.

The air conditioner slowly died out while the rock pillars seemed to deflate as the field began to shift back to it's normal dull state, a sign that the battle had ended. Chirper beamed at the fallen Bell triumphantly, even letting out a small raspberry sound before flying back to Luna's shoulder.
"Hehe~Great job Chirper!" Luna said, placing the purple pimp hat back on Cihrper's head.
Chirper fluffed up to twice his normal size with the compliment. "Blu blu!"
"But don't get too arrogant you silly, we always need to be on our guard." The trainer repriminded, tapping Chirper on the nose. The swablu deflated and Luna smiled.
"We'll definately be prepared to take you down again at any time Rene!"
Even if Luna had defeated Rene several times, defeat only strengthens those who could overcome it. So all trainers, even the winner, must constantly improve. That was how things worked in the pokemon world.
