Im really confused, what is this whole AMV thing??? Its funny......but very strange. AMV's are Anime Music Videos. Basically editing anime videos to either have the characters sing the song or have the video themed with it. Usually a private joke, something with regards to the anime. Such as "If you love somebody set them on fire" done to Grave of The Fireflies or Chiyo Chan singing The Cute Song from the Animaniacs.
AMV Hell started as a short clip show of 30 second snippets of AMVs with a TV changing channels to signal a new clip, like someone flipping channels of a TV set.

They made a second one with a wipe... Also about 5 minutes long
Third one was open to submissions... people put watermarks and tags in the lower right corner to help the editors figure out who made what.
The third one was an hour long.
Then they made AMV HELL Zero... which was 48 minutes of hentai, toilet humor and general nastiness. A compilation of all the R and X rated stuff that didn't make it into AMV HELL 3's PG-13 style clip show. Not recommended for those who are easily disgusted.
Then came AMV HELL championship edition. Where they gave songlists out to the editors to ask for a 30 second clip in regards to one of the songs on the list. Half an hour of good fun.
AMV HELL 4 is also know as AMV HELL 3, Part 2... an Hour and a Half of 30 second clips, much like AMV HELL 3.
