I don't have a balance board so I can't really say if walking in place would work well, though.

Lord of Armageddon Pretty good idea, excpet for one problem. How do you walk on the Balance Board? Unless you might be referring to walking-in-place (a walking version of jog-in-place.) Yeah walking in place. And if you shift your weight to one side of the balance board, your character turns.

Seems like a cheap Sony/XBox idea to me. Nintendo has some good characters and they created one of the best fighting series of all with them: Super Smash Bros. Any one of them was awesome. I'd like to see Sony come up with something like that instead of the overdone "here's your gun, simply run around and shoot things" motif.

Pretty good idea, but with the walk board thing is unclear to me. Would you get one like the Wii Fit, but then you would walk side to side, Or do you mean like a dance dance revolution mat or something like that to walk.

The board idea wouldn't work. I have a balance board and i know how it works.
1. Walking in place, ok fair enough.
2. Leaning to one side to turn? ok I'll let oyu have that one too.
3. Pressing down on one side hard to strife? No, it would contrast both 1 & 2
4. How would you go backwards?
5. Leaning would put your aim off.
6. People will lose interest and get lazy after 10 minutes or so.
7. It would be very expensive.
Sorry, I'm actually trying not to sound like an a** hole here, it really won't work.
