 Bell was down for the count. Kayla could see it and was almost glad that this battle was almost over! Quin must be getting stronger! Before, all his battles were mostly losses and now her winning streak was coming. Finally!
When Quin landed that latest iron tail , Kayla was furious at Quin for risking injury to himself but then Quin launched himself at Bell and then the trainer knew Quin's battle stratgey and calmed down after thinking on it. It was a good idea using the force field as a buffer. The battle field was completely flat with no rock or cliffs to help go higher into the air other than flying.
"Good work, Quin! That was a smart move!" Kayla praised, which Quin responded with a happy 'Veee! Veee!'.
But their almost victory did not last long and Kayla should have known it was coming. This battle at the moment was going far too well for them and she shouldn't have believed that she would win this without some major damage.
Just as they were praising each other, Bell launched an Ice Beam attack. Quin heard the attack and turned around, wide eyes. Kayla, too, looked at the situation in shock. "Quin! GET OUT OF THE WAY!!" But no good. Quin was hit full force of the ice beam and slowly the ice crystals started to form around Quin, starting from the legs, knees chest, tail, back and then the head.
Now frozen, Quin was stuck like this.
"s**t!" Kayla exclaimed, panick started to set in again. Things were going soo well. Now that Quin wasn't able to do any attacks, Bell will have free rein to lash out and exact her revenge like she wanted to from the very beginning of this battle. Things are not looking good for Kayla and Quin. No they are not. Quote: 650/800 Frozen - 1/3 XDD Is there any pokemon Bell likes? XD

"Yes!" Renekai said, happy at their small victory. Of course, chances are, they'd still lose... But with a LOT of luck, they could win! Quin had had lots of luck, so would it be Bell's turn now? "Focus Punch!"
Bell's wing glowed once more as she focused all her strength on this one punch, aimed straight for the ice encased noggin of Quin. She wanted her revenge, despite how tired and close to fainting she was.

Kayla had to watch helplessly as Quin was propelled from one side of the field to the other, slamming into the force field of electricity that only rolled him back into the battle.
Now Quin was laying on his back, unable to right himself and protect his belly.
Kayla gripped the railing and watched. Quin was still frozen but the heat from the electricity was slowly melting the ice. Not as fast as fire would but still melting. They need to hang on as long as possible and if Bell misses just once, they might have a chance.
Kayla brought her fingers to her mouth and started to bite her nails in nervousness. This could go either way. Bell is really weak and exhuasted. Quin is trapped in ice. Who will win, it's still unsaid but all Kayla could do now was wait until the ice melted.

"Hit him hard, Bell! We could use a critical hit!" Renekai shouted, hoping that she wasn't jinxing herself.
Bell nodded and turned to Quin once more with dislike. Her wing glowed again, and she threw her "fist" down with all her might in yet another Focus Punch. If she wanted to win, Bell would need to re-freeze Quin right before the ice melted. Meaning next turn. It was an awful risk, but Bell would have to take a chance. Either that, or be sure to lose! Quin was not about to miss.

Once again, Quin was thrown back into the electric force field but with more force than the previous one. It had sooo much force that when Bell blasted him at the shield, he bounced off of it and flew to the other side of the field before skidding to a halt, on his side now.
Kayla winced at the impact Bell's punch made. The ice was already cracking and about to sluff off. She knew that if they did not get Bell on the next turn, they would surely lose.
Now all she can do again, is wait until Quin was unfrozen.

This was it. The big one. This last attack could decide everything! If the Ice Beam missed, Bell was almost certainly done for. "Please, please don't miss..." Renekai muttered under her breath before giving the command. This was it!
"Ice Beam!"
Bell had been charging an Ice Beam from the start. This one was really big, and really cold! Of course, Bell, weak as she was, couldn't make an Ice Beam at 100% full strength until she had recovered some HP. Still, it was not an attack to be trifled with. Bell fired.
"Please!" Renekai whispered.

Just when Kayla thought the ice will finally break and release Quin, Bell shot another Ice Beam attack and refroze Quin.
"Arrgughh!" Kayla growled in frustration and panick. They had to be frozen again! Why!? But when Kayla looked at the ice around Quin it wasn't as thick as the previous one.
That means that the ice would most likely melt in the next turn. Kayla placed all her hope and wishes on that the ice would melt and give Quin a chance to land a hit on the weaken Delibird.

No good. They needed Quin to be frozen for at least two turns! Renekai couldn't bet everything on one more critical hit. If Bell attacked now, Quin would be left with 50 HP and Bell would be doomed. They needed a thicker layer of ice. "Try again, Bell," Renekai said. It was a risk, but they had to take it!
Bell's eyes glowed blue momentarily as she used a lot of her remaining strength into a powerful Ice Beam. She had to win! She had to! Bell charged the Ice Beam slowly, then fired at the frozen Eevee. It would work. The Ice Beam would work!
"Please let us win!" Renekai begged quietly to the dice gods no one.

Kayla was biting her nails so much in this battle that she was at the very end of her tails and if she bit anymore, she could start to bleed. Pulling her hand away from her mouth, Kayla watched as Bell released another Ice Beam attack. And that was when Quin brust out from the frozen ice case and saw the beam coming for him again.
Already knowing what was planned for his deadly fate, he jumped out of the way and dived underground again, as exhuasted as he was.
Kayla slumped over the railing in relief. Thank the pokegods for that! This gave them a chance to win this battle. She had felt kinda bad in the last battle for not saying anything to Rene about Quin's one weakness but in a battle, you don't help your opponent win over you.
Now it's time to end this. This would be the attack that tells them if Quin would win or if he lost his chance at victory.
"Alright, Quin! Get out from under there and give that Delibird your best!"
Quin shot out from underneath, all the wares and exhaustion evident but didn't give up. He charged up his tail once more and lashed out at the weakened Bell.
Kayla's eyes were fixed on Quin. Will he make the hit or will he miss? Quote: 200/800 This was an awesome battle! XDD

For the second time, Bell was knocked out. Last time, it had been ignorance that had made her lose. This time, it was bad luck.
"Good try, Bell," Renekai said, returning Bell to her pokeball. "That was really close," Renekai said, cheerfully enough, to Kayla. "You must work really hard with Quin." And have some incredible luck, she added silently. Renekai gave Shin a wave, then exited the stadium to get Bell to the pokecenter.

After seeing Bell fainted, Kayla slumped over the railing and sighed as a huge amount of relief waved over her. It was over. Finally. Quin was watching Bell being called back to her pokeball before turning to his own trainer.
Kayla smiled warmly. "You did awesome, Quin! Let's get you fixed up and a good treat!" Quin willingly went back into his pokeball without Kayla's insistance.
The trainer looked up at Rene and smiled. "It was a grreat battle. You had me going there from the beginning and then at the end." Kayla also waved goodbye before getting off the platform and head straight for the pokecenter as well.Quote: That battle rocked socks! XDD NO MORE REMATCH FOR NOW!
